WOW This boss fight reminds me of the last boss' 1st form on Arcana heart. Which sucked was that even if you beat her, she still transforms..the only good thing was that the next cutscene would be different if you beat the other form

no thats not true....the scarf is protecting the prinny this way:the scarf's purpose is:if a prinny is throwed it explodes...so if the prinny would jump and land it would explode...this way it doesent explode...get it!?the scarf has nothing to do with the hitpoints

Actually the scarf does have something to do with the hit points, as when you play on any non-hard setting, scarf icons indicate how many hits you can take before you lose a life.

This fight is also on the english version. =] I beat it. I agree though, the voices of Prinnies in English is much better. This game can be really hard but I love it!

Normal = 4 hits till death

which ever you always get 1000 lives you have infinite when playing certain stages or replaying beaten stages.

after the letter game start, dash and jump high then knock those pringer x s. Pringer x is the worst one. kill those pringer x faster then etna will call other monster. Before she does knock her quickly. This can stop her calling other monsters except pringer x. repeat those process might defeat etna easier.

There is a time limit, but from the japanese videos I've seen, the key is to be patient, watch the Pringer X patterns, and destroy them. A single pound will stop them and you can use your knives to destroy them. Once they're destroyed, though, you'll have to watch out because a random Disgaea 1 character will pop out and destroy you (Flonne, Aramis, or Gordon, Jennifer, and Thursday). However, dodging them is easier than Pringer X and once they're done, Etna is left open.
