  • thank you - had no idea about "coating times".

  • I really like these vids. Concise yet thorough enough to get you started. I had great luck with my first flames, on the very day I first operated my airbrush. Practiced some basic strokes and then just tried it. Keep up the great work!

  • ok I have a xbox case that I want to paint and I use duplicolor cause its an awesome paint but when I was painting an xbox hardrive case it got all splotchy when it dried was it because of the oil based paint below it cause I sanded and used rubbing alcohol, then I washed it with warm water and soap then added three coats of primer, then added one coat of primer it screwed up :(

  • Hi:

Why when i apply my paint i get like sink little holes ,it's ruining my project big time ! PLEASE HELP !!!!

  • help me out new to airbrushing can micro metal flake paint be sprayed by an airbrush gun? and do pearls and metal flake look good on fabric meaning will these paint go flat looking on fabric? thank you for your videos they very useful.

  • The first time Ive ever heard Tony D cuss, even tho it was muted, still saw it, can't sneak by me tony. But thanks, I personally don't have this problem because I READ THE BACK OF PAINT CANS, but a friend of mine had this problem painting his rifle stock, and this helped him a lot.

  • yeah that happened with primer

  • what if you want to creatre drips ? , you spray on top of wet paint for drips ? will it still wrinkle ?

  • He's spot on. i used rustoleum as base for a mini hood scoop an when i used duplicolor for the clear it spidered up like crazy. sucked cuz it was a decent carbon fiber paint job. but i did intentionally crack the clear on a coffee table that i airbrushed woodgrain on. made it look really old.

  • @Fryinberg Duplicolor is the king of the wrinkle monster. It has some wicked weird coating times.

  • @AirbrushTricks ive had good sucess with using the duplicolor acrylic enamal rattlecans. use the primer, flat black then i use either auto air or custom shop urethane. both work fine. then clear. find its really hard to get hairlines with auto air. i thin it out either too much or not enough. the custom shop urethane is pre-thinned and flows great. its just really nasty chemically tho.

  • Respond to this video... what kind of base primer, clear would you recommend for plastic panels on a motorcycle. ive heard of adhesion promotors for plastic. and primer meant to flex. im a noob but i did paint a nice mini guitar amp with your lava technique vid.

  • @Fryinberg If yoo're painting plastic you should probably be using adhesion promoter after you've scuffed the surface really well. TD

  • Will this work when i get them?

  • from what I've heard, viewer 700 has big dick

  • @nathan82206

pretty sure that'll be me hahaha

  • is it just me or can i see the wall through you bro?

  • @RossCo10977 Whoa! You can!

  • @RossCo10977 It's the glare of the lights off of the wall. It hits the lens of the camera. Oh well, one of these days I'd love to work somewhere else than my garage....

    TD

  • @AirbrushTricks

haha i thought so but maybe a black sheet of some kind behind the camera ?? and on other wall to stop relectrion??

  • @AirbrushTricks you should airbrush your walls

  • @AirbrushTricks don't lie you have built a cloaking device.... lol
