  • plz help me

how to install videocards for VMware workstation?

    HELP!

  • Its obviously fake.. you can't play games in vmware

  • @Septagotius you can play games in vmware

  • @Septagotius not a fake but it's still not so useabble if it runs so slow =D...

  • the timing looks strange, I guess the vmware beta had some timing issues

  • Crysis under windows7 working?

    Well not me and you?

  • @jakaos412 Yes!

  • what is your guest os? and have you edited anything on the notepads or any documents?

  • Isn't it better if you use Wine rather VMware for playing games?

Anywho, can you make a tutorial on how to install vmware with UT3?

  • True because Wine is not emulation ;)

    Wine is a re-programmed win32 api on linux ;)

  • @xXxlllManHacklllxXx

True true!!! :) Still better if not the best solution rather than virtualization of whole windoze system...

  • do u need another pc to install this

  • vmware proves to be more amazing just when you think they outdid themselves last time.

  • wow very nice program.. that vmware its free? or trial?

  • no tiral 189$ to buy

  • everything works great on linux (linux stuff, not wine executed stuff lol). I have Sun VirtualBox running Windows XP and it's so weird but it's faster than the XP install on my other dual-boot hard drive partition! I can do anything with high graphics demand and under virtualisation, nothing fails. So perfect. lol Microsoft should just give up with Windows.

  • except for directx before 8 and after 9 sadly. I wanting to play older games on new machines find it rather worthless to go with that option, but that is just me. I can see why a linux user might like it to eliminate so many restarts on the actual machine.

    Aberran

  • I never expected the DX9 support to be that good but that is pretty impressive except for the bits of freezing up or lag. Who knows, maybe in the future we will boot into a small hypervisor and just run virtualized applications and games? Apparently the installation process is easier on linux too with this release which is further good news :)

  • Good progress for vmware. Sad that VirtualBox has no 3d support at all yet, because VBox works much faster for me :P

  • thats cool need a little work but thats good progress for vmware and also can you tell me how to install it unto ubuntu

  • You'll need VMware workstation for linux

  • i got it to install and can you tell me what kind of requirements should i have to make it work
