Obama: (studdering of course) w-w-w-w-w--w-w-w-ell i think the real question is who got us into this mess
HEY RETARD THE "REAL QUESTION" was WHAT IS YOUR PLAN FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ?
"STRAIGHT TALK" is a LIE and a DEMONSTRABLE DECEPTION if we can't get a straight answer from John McCain about 9/11 truth, which so far he has refused to discuss at all. That's apparently John McCain's definition of "straight talk".
HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE MOLTEN STEEL/IRON IN THE BASEMENTS OF ALL THREE WTCs, MR. MCCAIN?
HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN BUSH'S LIES ABOUT WHERE HE WAS AND WHAT HE THOUGHT WHEN HE SAW THE FIRST PLANE STRIKE, A PHYSICAL IMPOSSIBLITY BECAUSE THERE WAS NO LIVE VIDEO THEN?
Even if any of the 9/11 theories are true... what are you going to do about it?
I'm sick of liberals who want the "TRUTH", this country is one of the most powerful countries in the world and they have their reasons for what they do, not that I agree with all their reasons. But hey what are YOU going to do about it? If you live in this wonderful country LIVE WITH IT. I bet your living a nice life anyways, so please stop trying to push the "TRUTH"

this is just a test. obama's channels censor critical comments but if that makes you angry and you leave a derogatory comment, well, they'll post that one. so are you censoring the public?
I will tell you one major reason why people voted for him. It's because Obama wants to pull back in Iraq. Which then means the terrorists will take over Iraq and attack the United States. Now, John McCain wants to stay there, win the war, and come home without being attacked by terrorists. Plus Obama will raise taxes a lot. And I mean A LOT.
I want these guys to show us change! These small time topics are just popularity topics to win us over. They need to make changes on THEIR OWN, then ask us to vote for them!
Gandhi didn't win a popularity contest to show people his views. He just was himself, doing impressive things. Candidates should be people we ALREADY respect and know from their impressive actions towards change!

I'm tired of these ultra christians aiming for republicans you need to look at the canidates and not let some preacher tell you who you should vote for and you're basically being used as a tool so congradulations.
The single greatest challenge we face is doing a complete overhaul of our medical system. The US ranks 42 in infant mortality rate and 45 in life expectancy(statistics from CIA website). The one thing the countries that rank higher than us have in common is a public non profit system of medical care. For Profit medical systems have shown to be far more costly and ineffective than non profit.
Im sorry mr mccain but you have lost my vote. I am a Christian sir and when you made the remark about Osama and the "Gates of Hell" i changed my mind. I dont understand these men who are so interested in killing and sacrifice. that is certainly nont what Jesus taught us. Our votes are going to Ron Paul. Republican democrat or libertarian he is the ONLY one sstanding up for what is RIGHT.
reform on people's income.cap off the rich and set standards for the poor. Welfare does not work at improving poverty. The rich make more and more, while the minimum wage goes up. higher goes the cost of gas, and w/it- EVERYTHING ELSE. How is one expected to educate themselves&make living for family, when debt keeps rising and poor are paying for it. upper class needs a cap on their income. needs to be a more evenly distributed cash flow though the u.s. economy and it's people.
jhalston, people tend to draw comparisons as long as they don't know exactly how to describe a thing. An automobile was an horseless carriage for example. That's why I call Mc Cain a brainless fascist. What you need, jhalston, isn't leadership, you need a Führer, freedom from choice.
WE are a free country thanks to France. Check your history, jhalston. You can't blame France for Germany beating up on them, it's not like they ran away. Bringing up France is stupid an non-constructive.
We did not liberate Kuwait. OK, maybe technically we did, but if you think we were acting altruistically, you're crazy. Kuwait was stealing oil, with slant-drilling tech supplied by America, from an American ally (Saddam) who committed the heinous crime of trying to control his own oil.
Bring it on in iraq.. 8 more boys dead.. the three hostages have been killed.. BRING IT ON and be prepared to spend another 400 billion dollars for the next one year.. BRING IT ON...

Romney is a true conservative who would make a great president. McCain will give us years of war if elected, and Guliani the closet democrat will also give us years of war.
For all those who comment on political videos, I am holding my own personal survey. Regardless of your views, please send me messages on your stances on various issues like: abortion, Iraqi war, and even Bush. I'm no campaigner for any politician, I am just curious to see what matters to you. I'll try and get back to as many people as I can.
John come on you know it as well as every one else Ron paul is the right man for the job. he not running for power or pride. and he actualy knows his stuff.
Straight talk- environmental policies no one outlines, I believe in Global Warming. If I disagreed I'd approve of many green movements due to opportunity for economic growth. In Germany I saw a profitable green industry the US isn't tapping. What's bad about wanting a healthy world? Soldiers don't go to war to see things they fight for destroyed. I support carbon taxing. It's truly global so industrializing countries will be forced to regulate omissions which offset any good we do.
John, you were asked in Iowa "if you would help GIs keep custody of their kids" and you talked about "divorces". The question is still open; it is asserted that fighting in Iraq is abandonment and parental unfitness, what would you do to help GIs keep custody of their kids? (Hint: the Whitehouse has started "the fatherhood initiative" but it has not been enough.) Thanks, John. Looking forward to you making a strong PRO FAMILY response.
I really like your opinions until you supported Bush and his lying War strategy, I do no longer believe you are for the people, I will vote for the only Person that has been consistent and for the people, Ron Paul. Sorry !!
I don't always agree with John McCain, but I do 60% of the time. He is a true leader who honestly cares about people. Elect John McCain to stop Rudy Guilliani and let America be America again.
What about "legal" lawful permanent resident immigrant members of the US Armed Forces who are in "indefinite" civil incarceration under the ICE (formerly INS) and are getting deported far away from their spouses, children and families. Often times they are taken to LA and TX for "venue shopping" purposes and illegally deported under corrupt 5th Circuit jurisdiction. Why not change laws to declair them "nationals".
In the Rep debate McCain looked like such a phoney pointing his finger, "talking tough." It's all so fake. He wants the right-wing primary voters to vote for him, and he'll say and do anything to get where he needs to go. Why would anyone give this poseur the time of day?
Once again I am firmly supporting Mitt Romney in this race, but as with all the Spotlights so far I have to make a plea for some civil discourse here. There is no need for the rudness. If we really want to clean up Washington we can start by cleaning up our own act first.
Senator, I would be interested to hear your opinion on China as a growing power. Please respond to the video posted by user EmergencyCheese. Thank you.

Senator, Don't back down on Iraq. I think you understand it's importance. Thank you for putting the future of your country before "looking good". We need a tough leader to deal with the Middle East because the problem is not going to disappear.

OK McCain here it is now pay attention... THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANKING SYSTEM. The government does't have to borrow money they can print their own GET IT!! GET RIDE OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE.
Lets face reality its not health insurance thats the issue, its the fact that doctors make too much money.I would vote for the first candidate who would regulate how much doctors make.
McCain is NOT A Conservative!! McCain/Feingold was an afront to the Constitution, and he is a media WHORE!! HE needs to take his "moderate" old ass back to Arizona and start raising goats, or some such other hippie pursuit.
So many negative comments about John McCaine. My, my. I hope he gets the hint. I think I'll go watch Ron Paul's video. I like Ron's video. It's much better.
What's on my mind? How much did it cost us as taxpayers for you to run around in Iraqi shops with a battalion guarding you. How much money did that cost us?
I respect McCain, but do not like the eagerness for military conflict and I do not like the McCain/Feingold restrictions on free speech. Otherwise he is not bad on economic issues. Good luck, but I'm supporting Ron Paul.
This neocon look alike. you want some straight talk. ok here it is. You think you can go on the Jon Stewart show and magically gain the young vote? you must think we are pretty stupid. We see through your typical political pandering, your as bad as that female neocon hillary, or that weirdo guliani. get this straight right now the AMERICAN people want our troops home from this illegal war!! You remember us don't ya? the people who you serve.
Hi John!! I voted for you and helped you win the Michigan primary, you're welcome BTW! But after you kissed GWB's BUTT I found you utterly repulsive. You have no chance of winning this primary or election, IRAQ is your albatross and it's not going anywhere.
John McCain is the best. He is a hero and an honest man. He fought for his country and will continue to fight to make America a better place in the future when he wins the election. The other candidates are very weak and I fear what they will do to America if they win
The only answer is for America to be self-sufficient in energy & food. Military is necessary to for self-preservation, with Oil as a crutch, the military is but a band-aid on a gaping wound of a problem. It is not complicated.
We mostly need big money/banks/industry out of the government. Laws are to benefit citizens, not corporations and there utra-rich leaders.
Here's a clue: send a message to this candidate and then watch your sent box. None of them read anything posted here! It's all a facade to make you believe your voice matters.
Is McCain Sane? Ha!! McCain supports the current Iraq War, and a future strike against Iran. Explain to me how preemptive war against tinpot nations, and being the World's Policeman, are sane ideas?
Is there a rich tradition of preemptive strikes, and monitoring the globe in our History? No!! The Europeans were always guilty of this in the 18th-19th centuries. Our Founders created America to avoid their blunders. If you want more war, debt, and death, vote for McCain.

Don't you think Iran needs nuclear weapons so they'll have a nuclear deterrent against George Bush, who would undoubtedly attempt to steal their oil if they cannot defend themselves?
McCain's an old man out of touch. He voted against the tax cuts but now supports them after they worked.
The McCain/Feingold act is insane and totally unAmerican. McCain has said in a letter to me that he hopes a Democrat is elected soon. I think he's a brainwashed communist who is subject to verbal triggers. DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS MAN!
McCain might have been an honorable and brave man at one time. Benedict Arnold at one point was our bravest and most patriotic general, but in the end he became our country's greatest traitor. McCain has become cowardly, both in the physical and moral sense. Even right wing republicans can see through his crap. Did you see the EVIL, LYING news cast he made about going for a stroll in Baghdad? Do a search on mccain baghdad. P.S. McCain is neither a liberal nor a conservative. He's a scumbag.
he is to freakin old... i think he will probably be worst than bush... anyway since the democrats won, this country is going to have a rough time for the next 4 years with hilary or obomba.
If 300 million American responded below to your question then you would tally the different responses and work down the list, but until then it wouldn't represent an entire country, like the presidents ideas should do, so this is pointless and make you seem like you care, but if you did you would you wouldn't post a senseless question that would only express a fraction of the people you want to represent.
Well, it would really help America a lot if you could figure out how to round up all these naiive young egalitarian types, put them in a huge burlap bag, and take them out and drown them.
Murderer. My son is a Marine and as the mother of a soldier I hope you rot in hell. You and your friends getting rich off the dead soldiers you killed over lies. You'll never be elected. Gravel, Obama, Gore....they are all so much more human and honorable than you could ever be. You're scum.
McCain is a hero. But open borders? Continuing in Iraq? These stances are losing ground.
A ? for the McCain fans: What's your opinion of Ron Paul? He seems to be the only candidate who recognizes that a preemptive attack on Iran might trigger other wars (imagine Russian troops in Cancun or Nova Scotia; we too would be mobilizing the way the Russians are against us). I worry that preemption in Iran will trigger world war by starving China's sizable army.
John McCain is a great American in many ways but I think for this time in History, Fred Thompson should be the next President of The United States. Take the time to read about him and his votes as a Senator, they are very consistent with Conserative Values
We lack a comprehensive welfare system. THAT is very important issue that is garbled by politicans & the media. After Reagan's 'reforms' and Clinton's PRA-TANF, the conflation of morality & poverty was well set. There is no correlation between morality & poverty & yet we blame welfare receipents for their poor choices. For example, moms are forced to seek parental support & identify the biological fathers. However there are many instances where rape victims are denied benefits.
This guy is a RELIC. We need new, younger, leaders. NO MORE OLD WHITE GUYS FEEDING US THE SAME OLD BS (that includes Hillary too!) I think I'd vote for Barack Obama, if we can figure out what he actually believes.....
McCain is the Man! Very few of you actually know what type of man he is. To endure 5 years of torture as a P.O.W. in Vietnamise prison camps and still have such a morale regard for the lives of people in all countries and cultures, shows the type of person he is. You cannot say he is anything close to a typical politician. Why don't you do a little research before you make unfounded statements.
Could you imagine someone in Iran singing 'Bomb Bomb Bomb Bomb Bomb McCain". How tolerant do you think he would be. He's a soldier. Death is part of his trade. A soldier in the whitehouse. Why not, you had an actor, cross dresser, cowboy, porn star and now a trained monkey, makes sense to go and kill hundreds of thousands of people with a real live soldier as a president.
Why is it necessary to accept the assumption our military needs to be powerful enough to overcome the rest of the world. Our government is too big in terms of power and the attention it commands. Is there a political leadership that can bring a perspective and priority system other than us always dominating? Does overpowering strength bring us the desired results, or does it alienate the world and create a whirlpool of problems? Can you bear to reimage America?
not to judge you by this speech that you have given us, but i really do not know mcCain well enough to judge him. I believe this great country of ours needs a person who is not afraid to admit that his plans are going in a wrong direction. America needs a president who can stand by his people not only in the time of good but also in the time of despair. We americans need a president who doesnt lie to us just to get Re-elected. thats what america needs and i believe we all need it now!
McCain needs to go away, and take his generation with him.
The babyboomers are irrelevant, and the younger generation wants a lot more progress and social justice on this planet than this group of neocon wanna-be's would ever give.
It always takes the next generation to move us forward. I just wish these aging, dying losers would get the hint and back off.
Listening to this generation is like trying to use a computer from 1985. It just doesn't make sense anymore.
McCain - individualism/change of strategy in Iraq & finish. I prefer 2 be in control of my life & not my gov spoon-feeding & would like 2 c a final result in Iraq, but maybe that's just me.
ps: scaledatacom, homosexuality is not only immoral but condemned by God himself as a sin in the Old Testament & later by the apostles in the New Testament. But, since you prolly don't acknowledge the Bible as the Word of God, then there's no reason 2 convince u otherwise
He is the "Evil Chameleon". Yes, you served in war, but unless your job was actually combat operations on the ground in Vietnam, it means little to forces serving on the ground in Iraq. You are only qualified to offer input on naval air operations, POWs and officer/enlisted issues. You are no more qualified to speak to tactical ground operations than anyone else! You may fool laymen with your talk of war; but you cannot fool real veterans of ground combat operations. -INFANTRY, FOLLOW ME!!
McCain needs to drop out now. You failed your own words when you stated 'Baghdad is safe enough to walk around in some places', then went over there and had 100+ troops and 2 Black Hawk's follow you around.
Also, what's up with the 'Bomb Iran' singing? Are you asking for us to also jump into more war again? Your buddy Bush already failed us in Iraq, and I sure as hell know you and your Rethug buddies can't fix this situation now.
Look John, I don't think this is going to work out. America is running out of buildings to bomb. Which one are you going to bomb? The Sears tower, Chrysler building, Empire State.....???? I used to vote republican, but you can thank Bush for the lack of support. Vietnam is over, live with it!
Well John I used to think you was a pretty good guy til you started wanting to pass a bill that would fine bloggers up to $400,000.00 and put them in prison for saying anything bad about elected officals online. Talk about someone who is against free speech and the 1st amendment! You've lost your mind. That's why I am voting for Ron Paul for President. He is clearly the peoples choice.
Your party's ideology has overseen an increase in the deficite that will cripple our economy and is borrowing from future generations. What do you plan to do about it? More tax breaks for the wealthy perhaps?
My late husband David was one of the key workers on EWOLS. He saved th US Goverment millions, and many lives also. He was given a lethal overdose of medication and died in pain tied to a hospital bed. Please see my videos.
I used to be a Obama and McCain supporter. Didn't care which on of the two won. But then my sister, who I usually don't agree with politically, asked me why I liked Obama. Then I just stood there blank faced. I had no idea why I liked him. Then I realized I only liked him b/c he was black and wasn't Hilary Clinton. Ha! So ask yourself why you like a candidate.
damn there are a lot of harsh responses that don't even do what he asked, which was to ask a question not to put down his campaign efforts....give the guy a break....run for president yourself or shut the hell up!
My question: how can you help control the amount of idiots allowed to sign up for youtube?
Universal Health Care by 2010. Buck the trend. Go against the status quo on this issue and you might have a chance. Otherwise, I bet you'll drop out by September.
I'll post an update tomorrow night. If anyone gets a different count from comments prior to Creepingitreal's "Mccain is an..." post, reply to this reply or message me. Remember posters can't vote for themselves. For counting criteria, view my second video reply, and follow the link. Now leave a comment saying what you want answered.
I really wish that McCain actually had, y'know, some sort of moral standing. If the republicans could call Kerry a "flip-flop", then the democrats can really dig into McCain. The man has only ever said what he thinks will make his constituents and the voting public favorable towards him. I'm ashamed to say that he's convinced his (and my) state soundly, but he hasn't a chance on the national stage. Two years ago, mccain was the republican frontrunner. Now he's something of a joke.
Twice in the past week Sen. McCain has used the expression "Get a life" as a comeback to those expressing opposing views. What will his witty respose be next week??? Maybe "I'm paper, you're glue!" or how about my third grade favorite "I know you are, but what am I?" Yes, these are the words of the man I want leading my country. Grow up John.
Well, it's not your money he's spending, right? So what the Hell are you griping about? Instead of talking about your dislike of McCain, why don't you talk about who you do like - and defend him (or her) if you can! Point out who is a better candidate than McCain, and why. And I dare you to try and say it with a straight face.
And before you say it - no, I'm not blindly partisan. I'm just calling your damn bluff!
I'd really like to here at least some opinion on David Colarusso's question on homosexuality as well as James Kotecki's question on foreign policy with China. (Put this in the community count. Somebody's gotta start it.)
I want to see change in the Health Care, i want to see a bigger improvement in the Government and the way Iraq ia being handled. Remember, every vote counts
I used to be one of your biggest supporters, but then you betrayed my trust. You have gone back on issues just to court voters. You have made insensitive comments. You are nothing but yet another political shill. Where is the reasonable, moderate John McCain? Has he switched places with the "I'll do backflips if vote for me" John McCain? You have betrayed your biggest supporters and you don't deserve to be elected.
Most important issues are the cost of living, the minimum wage, the war on drugs, white-collar criminals, censorship, public education, the lack of separation between the church and state. Stuff like that. You really plan on doin anything about the important stuff? pffttt....
Reason magazine named McCain an Authotarian Maverick, and wrote an entie article how he is a man who believes in overbearing government power. He is a dangerous man. No better then Hitlery.
If you are elected, I plead with you to cut funding to NORAD and disclose ALL government information pertaining to our contact/interaction with Extra Terrestrial beings. NORAD should lose all funding until their records are subject to the freedom of information act like most all other government offices. They hold secrets to the future development to our race and the time has come for full disclosure. Thank you.
You have no clue what the people want Mr. McCain. Sorry, You align yourself with ignorant people like Jerry Falwell. Truly you have no grasp on Science, which is the only thing that is going to save us from ourselves.
Which issue is important to me? I'm worried that the United States is losing its position in the world. I'm worried that slowly, without even realising it until it's too late, we're going to turn into a second-rate power, a la 'Soviet Union'. I don't want us to be overtaken by China as the world's largest economy and most influential world player. I think we're losing sight of the world stage by focusing all our energy on the terrorist threat.
Senator mccain, we chose, you are fired. Collect your belongings and get the fuck out!
Thanks, bye.

Is there a rich tradition of preemptive strikes, and monitoring the globe in our History? No!! The Europeans were always guilty of this in the 18th-19th centuries. Our Founders created America to avoid their blunders. If you want more war, debt, and death, vote for McCain.

McCain might have been an honorable and brave man at one time. Benedict Arnold at one point was our bravest and most patriotic general, but in the end he became our country's greatest traitor. McCain has become cowardly, both in the physical and moral sense. Even right wing republicans can see through his crap.

You cannot say he is anything close to a typical politician. Why don't you do a little research before you make unfounded statements.

The babyboomers are irrelevant, and the younger generation wants a lot more progress and social justice on this planet than this group of neocon wanna-be's would ever give.

Mr. McCain,
If you are elected, I plead with you to cut funding to NORAD and disclose ALL government information pertaining to our contact/interaction with Extra Terrestrial beings.

KEEP THE TROOPS IN IRAQ. Pulling out just tells the terrorists that they won. And they haven't won, nor will they.
