Do Christians know that there is no historical record of Jesus outside of Bible writings? You'd think that someone who performed miracles, was born of a virgin, resurrected, etc would have at least been written about and recorded in history.

@vbk101 I think it was implied that every $700 royalty check he received was given to Harold Camping's followers to warn everyone about the Rapture. He received one more check yesterday and he never mailed it out as he thought there was no point in chashing it because he believed yesterday was the end. He later went home with only $700 and apparently some food in the fridge.
I honestly feel terrible for the poor guy. Yes, I know he is a gullible simpleton. But he spent a lifetime earning an honest living, and now has thrown it all away, along with his dignity.

It's the May 21, 2011 here in my country! It's past 6:00pm also!
