Spider-Man>Wolverine.I don't remember the issue or which comic it was but Wolverine & Spider-Man fight & Spider-Man easily avoids his attacks. I mean Wolverine doesn't have Super Strength, acrobatic skills, or precognition he just regenerates & has indestructible claws. He didn't kill wolverine but he did beat him down pretty good so Peter could talk some sense N 2 him. Apparently they were both after some KGB Spy and they just crossed paths & Logan doesn't like people N his way.

It's possible they developed naturally after he was born, or that it was simply soft bone tissue since just-borns DO have soft bones, the human skull takes a long time to take its final hardened shape for instance. Plus, who's to say his claws ever came out while he was in the womb? It's a HIGHLY detailed and circumstantial thing.

Fact of the matter is, there are many alternate universes in Marvel with alternate explanations. Just pick and choose your favorite bits and enjoy the variety.

Hey Kev, one detail I've noticed about Wolverine is that his 'healing factor' seems to have become better over the years. I believe in the beginning he was able to heal wound fairly fast...but lately, he's been torn in half and can still survive.

Wolverine isn't the best but he's way better than spider man. Wolvie has a huge deep history & has fought so many enemies & been in so many situations that make for great comic writing. Whereas ol' web head swings around midtown & fight's the same rogues all the time. He doesn't have n interesting past & his ongoing problem has to do with his girl & his aunt.
