  • How can you look so stoned and play so well? May be they were... I don't care, Page is simply at his best here, love his solo!!! JP Jones creates all the feelings and the atmosphere on this song, my favorite!!!

  • I actually cannot get over this guitar solo. The Album version should have the waling guitar solo in the middle. At 5:49 I cream every god damn time.

  • minute 09:10 rape that guitar ! fast-tastedly sick!

  • Amasing

  • I give no quarter to the 51 dislikers of this

  • Only Led Zeppelin can make 240p be awesome!

  • the sound track "the song remais is tehe song" 1973, only solo john paul jones is better and drums , guitars is wired is beautifull.

  • JPJ is AWESOME

  • This is a million times better than the album version!

  • @Adam2JZ sorry man, but the jimmy's solo at the version from live album is one of the best guitar solos i have ever heard. believe, even better than that.

  • @brunocleta Im talking about the studio album version off of Houses of the Holy

  • oh man thank you so much for uploading this video.... me love led z/ my favs song from that album No Q.

My blessings and peace to you..............................

    Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhh

    Azzzzzzzz

  • mind blowing riff <3

  • Dio esiste, è Jimmy Page! happy birthday!

  • 08:19 wouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu :D

  • Brain Sex!

  • Happy birthday Jonesy....ramble on!

  • Smoked a lot to this song back in high school lol. Still an awesome song

  • I just love how the bass is overwhelming

  • 50 beiber fans

  • 07:07 ohhhhhh yeahhhh john paul jones moment <3

  • singing in 3 octavs is amazing the drums are the back bone and the bass builds the music together i think

  • jimmy page figured out how to play music that hasnt been played for centuries, its nothing new "created god" he figured out how to play standard tuning open robert plant says oh my jesus 10 times, i mean i think this song is a prayer in 2 parts, like david says "oh my God" i love it when he says that. everything is everything so lets get it together, one in the same, all 3 types of love goes hand in hand, its every note in the spectrum of notes "i guess from c to c sort of. god bless. music lore

  • That opening riff to the solo.... omg...

  • Song Reamins The Same changed my life as a young musician. This will be forever one of the most psychadelic Zeppelin tunes for me. Jimmy was just ripppppping on this solo

  • im pretty sure EVERYONE who was on something on this moment had theyre brains turned to fucking MUSH from the EPICNESS

  • To any of the musical snobs out there that thinks that Page isn't that great...I challenge you or anyone else to create such diverse moods and complex riffs such as in this song and live version here. Add sense of timing, writing, and producing abilities and he's head and shoulder above you or anyone else who plays skillful yet uninspiring music.

  • JPJ is so underrated. Not intentionally I suppose, look who he's on stage with.

  • can u just imagine how jimmy felt while playing that song, all those nuances strung together originating from brainwaves and vibrations..just beautifulness

  • this aint good...this aint great...this...this is FANTASTIC....I LOVE IT

  • I'd like to set some ground rules here for the Tool fans that visit here.

Personally, I DO like the Tool version a lot. I think they did a good job, BUT...

    1) Don't say the Tool version is better. They themselves did the song because THEY loved the LZ version.

    2) Be careful what you say of legends. You don't say Dylan wasn't a great songwriter. You don't say Hendrix wasn't a great guitarist. And you don't say Led Zeppelin wasn't a great fucking band. Because they were.

  • @sex6cult9revolution Im a huge TOOL fan myself. I dont really like the tool version to be honest.. And I agree with what you said, completley. Adam Jones even has all 4 symbols on his Marshall Super bass head. And to be honest, TOOL are really gods themselves.

  • hear the gods voice 2:55

  • deberian hacer un karaoke de esta gran musika

  • Jimmy Page and that Wah Pedal once had sex and that's how Kirk Hammett was created.

  • I'm Stoned

  • @Maltoisawesome So am I.

  • Tool is having the advanced tools; I wonder what if Led zeppelin gets such Tool??!!!

  • the song remains the same

  • @Jigga, while I agree that Tool's cover is better, I don't think the two bands can or should be compared ever.

  • @Aenima420 By the looks of your name obviously you'll like Tool more, however, can a cover really be better than what it is based on originally?

I for one, believe not but, still agree Tools Version is good but the 1st is always better!

  • Truly a masterpiece which exemplifies the artistry possessed by these 4 musicians. I believe that never again will music like this be created and heard.

  • ...and on the first day, Jimmy Page created god!

  • Most epic! Never surpassed! Iconic moments in rock history. Led zeppelin forever!!!

  • I honestly, have never seen a guitar raped so vilolently like at 9:10 Jimmy Page, sir you are the greatest.

  • Great memories getting high with my good friends and listening to this and other Zep tracks....

  • Si hay algo que pueda igualar esto... creo que no existe.

  • 50 morons should be drawn and quartered!!

  • You all commenters make me happy someone said they hated Jimmy page and I almost lost faith in man kind, lol

  • Jimmy Page.. the best ever !!

  • John Paul Jones at his best.

  • epic..

  • john paul jones on the keys made me blow my mind off...

  • Takes me back in 70`ties, just funny time to live!

  • Where is my LSD?

  • I think this song more than any other Zep tune demonstrates the individual abilities of each band member. Jimmy's guitar playing (like in every song) is phenomenal. Plant's voice rings beautifully in the parts that have words. Bonham's drumming is powerful and forceful, as usual. And especially, this song spotlights on John Paul Jones' abilities on the keys. Unreal jam.

  • One of the best bands I ever saw...Thrilling song...

  • is this pitched up?

  • Probably the finest hard rock song ever composed. Jimmy makes it seem so effortless...

  • First watched this out my tree on acid and it was one of the best times of my life.Still gives me goosebumps.

  • jimmy sos tan sexy!!!!!! :D

  • @MeluGorbano Always looked pale to me, great song though.

  • @DickCrenna ;) no le quita lo sexy, y si una canciòn excelente!

  • I remember when my late father took me to see this movie,I was awestruck, they were gods,I had never heard music this different and powerful

  • some girl from Canada says RUSH is better and that Jimmy is a sloppy guitar player!! never laughed so hard in my life!!

  • @ScottCrott good lord,Rush is ok I guess, but Zep made music that can never be equaled.

  • john paul jones: the secret weapon of led zeppelin

  • the greatest lie ever told: i dont like led zeppelin..

  • John paul Jones. Picked the best song.

  • Certainly for me the best Zep track ever

  • makes me wanna rush out and buy a fucn CryBaby pedal...

  • still say crowbars version is better but thats just mho....

  • IN CONCERT AND BEYOND "LED-ZEPPELIN"!!! ROCK ON!!!!!!!

  • As all he previous comments have said already what I was going to I will say nothing, oh go then 'Amazing and thanks'

  • outstanding:)

  • Wow shit... Guitar solo is awesome! Some sick speedy stuff at the start.. o_o

  • fucking amazing...

  • best guitar solo of all time, hands fuckin down

  • Led Zep best band ever...seriously the best band ever

  • This song sound like Porcupine Tree...no wait, PT sounds like this.

  • One of the best live performances I have ever heard. Page's solo is god.

  • ...and on the 8th day, god created Jimmy Page !

  • @11thstep Did you ever see the movie 'le 8ième jour' (the 8th day)? ;)

  • @11thstep ... and on the 8th day, Jimmy Page created God.

  • @11thstep

Correcting: ...and on the 8th day, Jimmy Page created god.

  • @11thstep

    No Jimmy Page is God

  • @11thstep No, you're wrong, man. The 8th day Jimmy created god, and he said: take a look and learn!

  • @11thstep On the 7th day God created Boham!!!!!

  • @11thstep On the 8th day, Jimmy Page created God

  • @11thstep On the 8th day, Jimmy Page created God

  • FUCK YES

  • 240p and it sounds like music from heaven

  • Life

  • When I was 12 I was learning to play guitar. My parents bought me led Zeppelin live at Madison square garden I watched the whole thing 6 times. It changed my guit

  • this song join with: the end(the doors) and careful with that axe eugene(pink floyd)

    are awesome!!!!

  • sounds a bit like muffin man :D

  • IN CONCERT AND BEYOND,DOES ANYBODY REMEMBER LAUGHTER :):) :)?THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE 4 OF THEM WAS MAGICAL. ROCK ON!!!!!!

  • 7:49 - i could watch those last 2 minutes over, and over, and over, and... brb!!

  • "The Winds of Thor are Blowing Cold"

  • the best solo in history of rock

  • 5:49 - gets me every time

  • @rivercrestcolts55 -- this whole guitar solo (and the entire song) are absolutely extraordinary, but that one moment you mentioned has probably always been my personal favorite, as well.

  • 47? oh my god! they're aliens!

  • amazing how many recent comments there are for a song that was recorded 38 years ago...shows how timeless Zeppelin and their music are...

  • man this is amazingly beautiful

  • Page's phrasing is just in a league of his own, theres very few guitarist who can hypnotize me with their guitar, and Page is one of them.

  • there is no "loud enough" for this song

  • if you get lost in a song that has lyrics in only 10% of it, that's a pretty damn good song!

  • Oh that is a brilliant and sweet guitar instrumental in the middle of that song....

  • I wonder what the guitar tuning was on that because it's a whole step higher than on the studio album. I would never attempt it that high... of course I'm getting to be an old f*** and I'm a baritone anyway.

  • @TurtleFL It's in standard. They played it in standard in studio too, but slowed it down which lowered the pitch.

  • How the hell can you "dislike" this?

  • The chemistry between the four of them is beyond words. IN CONCERT AND BEYOND!!!!!! LED-ZEPPELIN!!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!!

  • 1 genesis 2 pink floyd 3 led zeppelin..i'm sorry..

  • @SuperAnto1969 Your opinion... but mine is Zeppelin beats those other two. By far.

  • @5:08 enter Mozart on guitar

  • Further proof that John Paul Jones is an amazing artist and deserves more credit. Dat Keyboard.

  • I've seen Jimmy Page in concert and listened to just about every studio and live recorded solo he has performed and they are all an extension of Jimmy's supreme talent! I like The Rover and all of them, it really depends on the mood I'm in... :)

  • i'd say shawn has never seen the dazed and confused solo!! maybe he's dazed and confused

  • no wonder they didnt go on without john bonham. what a groove. he was the soul of zeppelin

  • there is no 4 ARTIST of music that play as 1 as they do

  • Sounds so different to the CD.......Its Incredible.

Words cannot describe how much i love this band and how they get me through Life and certain times..

  • i had tickets to go to NY,NY in 1980...he died on my 19th birthday

  • PERFECTION.

  • my favourite guitar solo ever. nothing comes close

  • amazingggggggggggggggg

  • It defies logic how good this song was (and still is). They are the greatest rock music act of all time and no one will convince me otherwise.

  • @waldogheadify Yeah I guess this song...remained the same. *snare roll, crash

  • @waldogheadify Yes Zeppelin rules no question!

  • @waldogheadify I'm with you a hundred percent!! these guys were the GREATEST EVER!! i've said the same thing, no will will ever convince me otherwise.. and they were a true band, After the greatest rock drummer ever passed, the greatest vocalist, guitarist and bassist retired Led Zeppelin until recently for a few shows.. If i had one wish that would be granted, i would wish that Bonham never died and zeppelin would still be around, maybe then todays music wouln't be so crappy!!!

  • @waldogheadify U sound a lot like Simon Cowell to me

  • It's a brilliant song, and one I was happy to hear them play it at Knebworth in 1979

  • @claveworks I was there!

  • @RocketRog63 Nice!

I went on my own on my trusty Yahama XS250, with tent strapped on the back seat - I remember Chas and Dave who were good for a laugh, and lots more band in the sunshine, but the evening was what it was all about - such a good buzz - slightly dampened by losing my way back to my tent later on lol...

  • this song can get stuck in my head anytime!!!!!!!!!!

  • demasiado bueno, auuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • A atemporal song - this song resist againt the time. This song is a fucking psycodelic travel...The time is over when you listen...

  • One of the greatest songs .... 48 ppl are deaf!!!

  • I am completely obsessed with the jam sound in this song from 4:37 to the end. Unfucking holy shit unbelievable. Their music was so fucking cosmic. It was like listening to an acid trip live!!!! To fucking clean, pure, orgasmic, to describe Led Zeppelin's music. You just can't do it. Impossible. If your a true led zeppelin fan, I will always have respect for you. okay, I'll stop rambling.

  • fucking perfect!!!!!

  • Still the best band EVER!
