  • nobody can make a beat like premo !

  • I wanna cut myself....

  • Nice beat man but, stop imitating, get inspired, but stop imitating. You have to create your own style! Yes, create your style by inspiring from others, but not by imitating em, cause ya cannot feel that like em, and the beat will not properly flow!!learn from others, but guide by your own feelings!!! Anyway, props, ya good producer anyway!!

  • lmao wtf i just seen this, why havent i seen this before?

  • @billythebopper what's the name of the sample pack?

  • That Sample was used by J Dilla on: "The Official" from the album Jaylib

  • How do i get to dwd on fl studio please help

  • the proble in my beats are not the samples and the chopping im doin good with the chopping but how do i get my drum sound properly? like the typical hip hop sound? the rhythms arent that difficult but how the drums sound is what i dont get? does that make sense? haha need helo with that im ready to get influenced ha

  • @babelifacemusic dont use pack drums ! go chop up actual breaks an there is no " hip hop " drums anything can be tweaked an eqed the hell out to make it sound good ! an dope beat here i wouldnt call it a premo type beat just a good hip hop beat lol

  • @TheOPTIMYSTICALbeats yes i know that there are no typical drums but i mean the most difficult part is that every sound is slapping in a way that it gets you to groove you know i mean? thanks by the way :)

  • @babelifacemusic i get what you mean i use fruity soundgoodizer and parametric eq 2 mostly to bring out my drum samples i guess its alot of trial an error with drums find just the right ones to fit the sample then tweaking them etc there are a few good packs out there but alot of garbage to if you want some breaks to chop up id be more than happy to send you some just pm me .

  • yo thanks man this helped so much ive been experimenting with sampling and this is the method for me. Ill subcribe. btw the beat was ill

  • absolutley ill

  • nice work mate, but it really doesn't even come close to the groove of a DJ Premier beat.

  • that doesn't sound anything like premier

  • @BringinDaRuckus Thanks for the advice.. Gotta put in work now :)

  • @tixxy111 if u TRULY want to catch the wibes of a preemo-beat, u got get on that MPC! then you will get that magic ;)

  • this is ya own style...run wit it

  • u cant even compare premo-beats against beats made in computer-programs like fl....

  • This aint a tutorial, you should show how to do iit not play the finished beat dude

  • where can your beats be purchased?

  • I have only one problem.. how to know in which scale the sample that u sampled is playing if u want to for instance then add your own bassline??

  • @tixxy111 if ure not that good listen to wich scale that the sample is being played in, you can just try putting a line on the first scale some place, you will hear very clearly if you hit the right one, just dry different scales until you hear that you hit the right, the go over to the next scale. after some time doin it you will get a grip on it.

  • make me some beats

  • Thanks a lot B!!

  • what's dwd ?

where can i download it ...

  • I like that Sample J Dilla& Madlib used on their Jaylib " The Official " Track

    nice Beat Dude ;)

  • dope effort really well done pece.

  • Dude, really dope beat you got there. Like the chopping on the samples is mad nice. Drum, bass, snare, hi hat all cool...

My only problem with the beat is this....Yes, you're chopping up samples like Premo, BUT, to truly make a DJ PREMIER TYPE BEAT, you need to make your kick and snare drum patterns sound more aggressive and a bit more technical. Instead of the stale sounding, basic pattern you used. Example: "The Lox - Recognize" ..check out the patterns he creates for the kicks..imitate that.

  • @BrodyzVidz yo thanks for the suggestion, i know i need to find better drum samples, its just hard and i mostly focus on melody. but the drums are just as important. i do a lot more work and this isnt close to my best beat. but thanks again.

  • @billythebopper What is the name of sample ?
