The Punisher is not a superhero. People just make him that way. He's an anti-hero. Anti-heroes are people forced to do good or their own versions of goodness or justice because of different circumstances like vengeance, punishment or lunacy. I think he's one of the coolest characters from Marvel. If you like Batman, imagine Punisher as Batman who doesn't care about life. If your evil, he'll exterminate you w/o questions.
