Have you ever been in an economics class or even studied the economical history of this country over the past 100 years and then compared it to that of any other country during that time span?
The economy is good if the government wont borrow or allow the central bank to print money out from thin air with no back up of gold nor silver. This huge worthless paper can devalue the real money. Low taxes means more people would buy products, food, etc. High Taxes it means they're tighten their belts because the money is worthless enough to buy products or food. It has a small value!
I have a question that stems from worry. How will Ron Paul protect himself and his family from "them" when "they" realize he will win the election? Will he cut and run like the last Great Hope when the death threats and promises start? Or will he be taken out like the Last Great President?
Dr. Paul knows full well the risk he is taking running for President. That's another reason why I respect him very much. He is in this for the long run and does not act with fear but with resolve, purpose, wisdom, integrity, and humility. His fight has always been to serve his country and so please pray for his safety and protection. I agree. I'm a big Ron Paul supporter. (In case that was not clear.) :) Ron Paul has integrity, principle and consistency (demonstrated in his voting record going back decades) that the other candidates cannot match. He's a guy I am proud to support.
Sadly, I think it is more accurate to say that Ron Paul represents what a lot of Republicans WISH the GOP stood for. The Libertarian Party shares Paul's views far more closely than the Republican Party does. If most of the Republican politicians now represent big government, ridiculous spending and other anti-liberty policies, I don't think we can say that libertarian ideals are "hardcore Republican." So he doesn't want to get rid of everything just let people decide what to do on a local level. For instance some towns in the US have banned smoking all together. This is perfectly legal as long as the local residents support it. Thats what the 10th amendment is there for, to stop the feds from interfering with what should be a issue for the locals to decide. He wants to reduce the size of the federal government. The city's and states would provide those services out of there own funding, most federal programs are a real waste because it takes so much money to fund a program that has to cover the whole US. Most city's and states can use that same money for just the programs that they approve/need for that area. For the most part when programs become federal they do a bad job and cost more and this has been proven time and time again.
Who pays now for public transportation? There is no "free money". If New York wants federal money then we all pay. The Boston or San Jose feels left out and files their request for Federal money. And they get something. So we all pay again. Small cities residents get the bills for a portion of the cost. And since the money is free there is no effort to control costs.

I'm not an American and can't vote but if I could I would vote for Ron Paul. I have never had interest in politics at all but the direction America is heading in is hurting a lot of people worldwide. After reviewing the candidates, I think this man could really save America. I hope the electorate can see the reason why an independent and good hearted man should be president as opposed to the dark corporate powers at work in US politics.

The economy is good if the government wont borrow or allow the central bank to print money out from thin air with no back up of gold nor silver. This huge worthless paper can devalue the real money. Low taxes means more people would buy products, food, etc. High Taxes it means they're tighten their belts because the money is worthless enough to buy products or food. It has a small value!

He is in this for the long run and does not act with fear but with resolve, purpose, wisdom, integrity, and humility. Sadly, I think it is more accurate to say that Ron Paul represents what a lot of Republicans WISH the GOP stood for. The Libertarian Party shares Paul's views far more closely than the Republican Party does. If most of the Republican politicians now represent big government, ridiculous spending and other anti-liberty policies, I don't think we can say that libertarian ideals are "hardcore Republican." I wish we could. But I know what you mean.

So he doesn't want to get rid of everything just let people decide what to do on a local level. For instance some towns in the US have banned smoking all together. This is perfectly legal as long as the local residents support it. Thats what the 10th amendment is there for, to stop the feds from interfering with what should be a issue for the locals to decide. He wants to reduce the size of the federal government. The city's and states would provide those services out of there own funding, most federal programs are a real waste because it takes so much money to fund a program that has to cover the whole US. Most city's and states can use that same money for just the programs that they approve/need for that area. For the most part when programs become federal they do a bad job and cost more and this has been proven time and time again.

Who pays now for public transportation? There is no "free money". If New York wants federal money then we all pay. The Boston or San Jose feels left out and files their request for Federal money. And they get something. So we all pay again. Small cities residents get the bills for a portion of the cost. And since the money is free there is no effort to control costs.
