a easy way to do it in co op is have ur parthner do it in say casual and you do it on insane that way he plays on easy while u do it on hard let him handle all the harder parts like this

do you really get the archievement this way? i dont think so. theres nothing that says you BEAT it on insane. I was playing a chapter on hardcore, and then i switched to insane. But then i switched back on hardcore a second later, go to campaign and there stands youve ever PLAYED that chapter on insane, not beaten it, because i switched back a second ago... so i think this isnt a option.

Beat Gears 2 on insane SOLO, no tricks or glitches like this, just played insane all the way. I'm particularly chuffed with this; not only because its 150G, but I've always thought it would be too hard. If you can complete hardcore, you can complete insane aswell. Just take it slower and really keep distance in between yourself and enemy, forget using chainsaw and shotgun and just use range weapons. Be prepared to die alot more aswell!!!

I have to agree with you, Insane isn't that hard only if you're used to Gears of War 2

Mine only took 6 hours and 30 minutes of play time, i stayed up all night playing this game on friday night lol

I did this trick in gears 1(I know, the shame), but it still didn't save me from most of the hardest battles, and I still had to kill RAAM and the Corpser on insane. I DID avoid that annoying fight in the lobby of Fenix's house, but not the imulsion factory thing underground(damn what an annoying battle).

But it doesn't seem possible in gears 2 solo, so I'm doin the whole thing on insane, but it's not too hard. Just a fun challenge.

there´s also an easier way to beat the game on split screen, just put your player on insane difficulty and your partner on normal or casual mode, this way all the game feels like on casual although it counts to you as on insane, although it will take the fun out of the game

Theres only one honourable way to get the Suicide Missionary achievement, and thats the way Epic intended. Anything else is just cheating.

There is a last checkpoint on levels like that it is just hard to find. Also because the next levels first checkpoint is right after it starts.
