Can some one explain what the big deal is about having an FM tuner in the zune? Personally I like the fact that the ipod DOESNT come with one. The wifi sharing is an interesting notion, but from what I understand you can only listen to a shared song once on the Zune, certainly you dont get to keep it for long.

Zune4 /8/80/120 : MUCH better music quality, and definitely easier to navigate around than the ipod. Wireless sync is nice if more people had zunes. Marketplace could use more music, but the zune pass iz amazing!

Ipod Touch 1st - 3rd gen: Definitely much better compared to the HD. HD have it's good parts, HD radio, OLED, etc. But why need all that processing power w/out apps available?So Itouch better 4 now

yo have to press like menu to go back w/ zune u have simple buttons left right up down enter and back and you have you main list to the front like songs and sub lists to the side that u easily slide 2 w/ the touchpad then when ur playing a song u can go into the future to see whats comming up and jump ahead or back rate ur songs and send ur stuff 2 other ppl plus zune is open you can have people make new programs that u load onto in like games n apps it communicates w/ xbox wireless syncing

The ipod touch is the only ipod that requires paid updates. Check up in a few months to see if the Zune Hd isn't making you spend Microsoft points for it's updates, if it manages to survive in the market that is.

Well all ipod models get new software about once every 2 months, you know for minor bug fixes and stuff like that(quick and painless does it while syncing, no Zune 2k here). The major ones for the ipod touch (1.0 to 2.0 or 2.0 to 3.0) cost like 10 bucks but you're really buying into new features and if you don't want it you don't have to buy it.

II bought the pink 4gb zune about a month ago and i have no regrets. I have never owned an ipod and never will im not interested in spending a fortune on just a 4gb ipod that only comes in silver you have to spend more just to get a ipod with colour. at least with the zune you can spend about the same on a 4gb and have a choice in colour. Another thing a really like about it is you can change the background images. Its awesome BUY THE ZUNE!!
