Wanna have wireless. typed in site of wireless. Got inlog screen typed right things in and than: No web file found. Use a valid web file system. WTF and i get yellow triangle with ! near my connenctions on pc. Does anybody know how to do it? Send me private message. Thanks.

  • @Djrepsaj I have to tell you it is very complicated to set up a secure wireless network. Wired your computer to the router first before you set up wirelessly.1. Use the MAC address to connect to the router. Because every component of computer only have one MAC address by searching the command prompt. 2. Set up the password of your wireless network by accessing the router's web based configuration page. 3 Type in your MAC address on the DHCP list. 4 Choose not to broadcast your SSID.

  • LOL!!!!! pethafile

  • listen carefully... the first thing u did was kiss your teeth!!!

  • You do *NOT* want to use WEP encryption. WEP encryption can and will be cracked in a minute or two. Go for WPA2 with a pre-shared key. Optionally, you can use a MAC address filter as well for more security. MAC addresses can be changed ("spoofed") however, so don't use MAC address filtering as the only security measure.

If you need any help configuring your wireless network, let me know.

  • does that web code keep others from using my Internet ?

  • It would stop them from connecting to your wireless network. Although wep is actually quite weak protection compared to wpa and wpa2.

  • @Newman12341 ignorant ass

  • Also let it be known that mine said roller and not wireless router thats if you all are having a problem finding it.

  • MMM im i hope it's not too late, the default username and password is admin for the username and admin for the password

  • @tarupalka Go to Google and search for "default username password router". Click the first link and search for your router's brand and model. It's a complete list of almost all routers on the market. Hope this helps!

  • thank u dave..2 thumbs up

  • Dave, your video is the only tutorial I've seen on the web on how to access the router's setup using the IP address. It was the key to my getting my wireless setup working. Thanks a lot!

  • @RAPTOR8ASDF All the other tutorials you have read or seen were written by inexperienced people, I guess. Almost all, if not all, routers are set up using the IP address (usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1, etc).

  • watch this vid /watch?v=cmpaAoY3SQc
