thats my little brother in the end holding that wonderful little fluffy gray cat. her names Natasha, and i do believe i see my other cat in the background. her name is Gabbs. i very much loved going and visiting these cats. they were loving and friendly even after what they had been through.
Wow! They are so affectionate; it's difficult to fathom the cruel fate that such majestic creatures would have met. This is a truly remarkable rescue.
Thank you to Best Friends and all who have helped these poor cats. I was interested in seeing this video and reading about this situation because I am adopting a cat tomorrow that came from this. I didn't know of this situation until the No Kill Animal shelter in Hastings MN that I am adopting from told me about this particular cats history. I am excited to be giving this cat a wonderful home... He deserves it!
I adopted the cat at 1:15 and 3:07 (sleeping on the running boards). His name is Coco, and he's the best cat I've ever had. He did have a tooth disease that required extraction of most of his teeth, and he has some respiratory distress, but he's had no other problems, and he's a much better cat after the surgery.
Great job, Best Friends! You guys are awesome. I can hardly wait until I get there and get a chance to volunteer and meet some of you great people, human and otherwise! :)
This was such an amazing rescue, is now rated the largest rescue in America...wait until you see the update vid on Miss Sherry's Finishing School for Felines where she resocializes feral cats.
God bless you Best Friends!! :)
