I think Queen of the damned is pretty much just a mixture of the vampire lestat and queen of the damned. It doesn't have a lot of things and doesn't follow greatly, but in it's own way its a great movie. I own it and like it. The person playing Lestat is indeed really hot, but i don't think it matches the appearance as great as it should. My biggest dream besides meeting the real Lestat:creating The Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned movie. >:P
The books were awesome as hell! The movie (at least this one sucked). Just my opinion. It's like they hardly even followed the same story, and just made it up as they went. They really should to a remake, and follow the trilogy the way it was meant.
Well, it doesn't bother me so much that the movie doesn't follow the book, because I saw this movie first and then read the books :P If I had read the books first and then seen this movie, it might have turned otherwise.. But hopefully The Vampire Lestat - movie is good :D
@salemcripple I think it sucked because the makers didn't know what the hell they were dealing with. I personally think they should have gone through all the beginning separate scenes quickly then started focusing on Lestat and Akasha and the twins. What pissed me off was the relationship between Jesse and Lestat. i was like wtf!?!?!?!?!
