Would have to strongly disagree with the comment that he outperformed Vai and Satriani. Satrianis performance on "searching," alone does better then this. Then again, I'm just not a big Petrucci fan and never have been. I respect him on a guitar talent level but just don't care for his style of playing. This song does have a decent amount of emotion but that's about it really =/.

I don't know what it is about Vai's performance........it just seemed more silly than serious. No doubt he's considered a guitar god by people, but Vai's performance on this dvd is not evident of his virtuosity.
