  • NOEL GALLAGHER..THE MAN..THE LEGEND..ROCK AND ROLL GOD!

  • Comment removed

  • if you listen closely you can still hear "... beh... beh... beh..." ever so faintly

  • Comment removed

  • If you look up noel gallagher on google it says: " did you mean god?"

  • "without annoying guy shouting" made my day :L

  • @NiallGuitarDude OMG that guy sounded like Timmmmaaaaayyyyyy

  • i miss bebebebebbe bebebebeb!!!

    seriously!!

  • I saw them in 2002. Noel sat down to do an acoustic song and said, "Now it seems to me that it's always the meatheads who sing along to the songs and ruin it for all the ladies, so if you want to sing along to this one, go home and sing along to the record." He started Wonderwall and some guys started singing so he stopped. Then he played Slide Away. It was the highlight of the show.

  • ahhh fucking bebebebebebeb!!!!

  • Oh I love this !!! - Yep, I know what you mean about Led Zeppelin . . beautiful version of The Bitter Sweet Symphony . .

  • ...the intro sounds like "Thank You " by Led Zeppelin! No bad thing as they are the best rock band ever!

  • Bittersweet symphony is one of my favourite songs: I love the Verve's version but also Noel's version is brilliant. Thank you for the video!

  • Thank You!!!! Finally I can listen to this brilliant performance without hearing that drunk guy.

  • thanks god no more bebebe xDDDDDDD

  • sounds like OCS, get away.

  • I am that annoying guy and If I had had the chance I would ruin this one as well.

  • @blackadder345 really? wow, your BEBEBE is annoyingly famous and for some reason I can't stop laughing when you do that. hahaha xD

  • Nice. A lot more tolerable than the other recording of this on youtube.

  • Noel Live forever :D

  • nice job!

  • The chords for this one sound like D, then D with the pinky finger on the third fret of the fifth string (as in second from top), and then you go to a D where your index finger is on the second fret of the fifth string, and then a solid G. Forgive me for my lack of knowledge on these chord names, but I experimented for a while.

  • @oneUNITED7SS

D, Cadd9, G over B ( 5th string 2 fret, 2nd string third fret) and there's a full G in the intro yes. It's actually not a G. But you hit the 6th string third fret and then open 6th string.

  • beeebeeebeeee

  • @berrygirl1964

totally agree with you i'd kill for this duo

  • e.bm.d.a capo it play around with hammer on and offs - great version!

  • noel gallagher, paul weller and ian brown, thats a lethal combination!

  • 13 years listening oasis+verve every fucking day of me life

  • Noel Gallagher, Richard Ashcroft, and Ian Brown. Together. Imagine.

  • @kris1991 i dont think you know it, but what you just said is fucking genius. theres a little song called imagine

  • BEBEBEBEBEBEEBEBEB

    BEBEBEBEBEBEB

    It sounds empty without it.

  • @rbiren08

    LOL

  • thank god. no BEBEHEBEHEBEHEBEHEB.

    noel. you are legendary.

  • Noel has an amizing voice, and he does this song very well. But I still think Ashcroft does this song better. theres something atmospheric and holy about it, hard to explain :S You remember every note he made in it by just listen to it once.

  • I need these chords!

  • Noels quality but ashcroft is the best singer ever....

  • @mrmdh1988 My arse is he! He's decent but best is pushing it quite abit.

  • Can anybody chord this

  • BEBEBEBEBEBEBBEBEBEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @sfxmaster2041 i wanted to do the same comment, hahaha

    BE BE BE BEEEEEEEEEEh

  • Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing!! :O can u please send it to me?

  • @Htaem just master Ashcroft! ^^

  • when was this

  • Fucking beautiful. So powerful and simple and....Perfect

  • Anyone have the chords for this version? Will love you long time!

  • @SeanOBriain Drop d tuning

Put your index finger on the 5th fret of the A string,

put your little finger on the 7th fret of the G string.

keep your fingers in that position and

    move them down 2 frets

    and then down 1 fret,

    then up one fret and

    then up 2 frets,

    repeat.

    Hope this makes sense. :)

  • @themindminder thanks :)

  • It's 'I brought in from the cold'.

  • you killed timmey :<

  • Noel admitted in an interview once that he wishes he wrote this song.

  • @CCSofChocolatesvill but he didn't :D

  • Brilliant.

  • fade in vs out

  • yes southpark

  • Its like Get Away by OCS too. Keep the faith.

  • words can not explain how amazing this is

  • fookin peolpe stop clapping

  • The clapping is still really fucking annoying, just listen to the music PLEASE

  • much better without the idiot shouting bebebe

  • The best cover I've heard. I'll buy a copy of this from you man preffer studio version but man awesomeness.

  • fade in , fade out

  • I almost swear I can hear, off in the distance, "Beh, beh, beh," echoing haha

  • I kept waiting for it too!

  • this is magical

  • i hate this stupid clapping of the people ...it ruins the atmosphere ,just shut up and listen.......

  • That was great

  • classic!

  • really true

  • Thanks so much, I first try to listen to the annoying bloke version and it's still drilling my brain. This one is perfect. I love Noel so much!

  • AHHH BEBEBEBEBEBE!!!

  • Bahahaha!

  • You are wrong btw, it's the violins or w/e they are that is from a cover of a Rolling Stones song. The music and lyrics are the Verve 99% of it.

  • as per wikepedia

"Although the song's lyrics were written by Verve vocalist Richard Ashcroft, it has been credited to Keith Richards and Mick Jagger after charges by the original copyright owners that the song was plagiarized from the Andrew Oldham Orchestra recording of The Rolling Stones' 1965 song "The Last Time".

The vervemade no money off this song.

  • @Nivekohgr86 99% the verve your wrong there the verve stole the melody and didnt get any money from the release of this song due to copyright infringement, it's an amazing song tho and i this version is great to

  • oasis wizard? listen to the original rolling stones song. They're money grabbin' bastards!

  • One of rare songs who so means much. Noel's ballads are famous for the whole world but when he sings this song all absolutely in another way, this full unification with founder Ashkroft. Very touchingly.

  • Sounded a little like a cross between the chorus of Who Feels Love and the intro of Fade in-out (that's the song you're referring to).

  • What was the intro?

  • it works great with Noel's voice... so psychedelic, makes me wanna get high.

  • Class brilliant son coverd by a brilliant singer

  • anyone know the chords for this song ?

  • you gotta tune your guitar to drop D tuning, and its just , D, C, C/D, C all the way the way through.

Thinking of doing this for a college concert thingy haha!

  • Try using D, Am7 (with pinky on 3rd fret high e) and Cadd9. Then a nice little bass run on the A and E strings. :D

  • dammit..even though i like both Oasis and The Verve are my favourite bands....fcuk you for breaking up the bands.... pls reform!!!!!

  • Its quite late at night, im pretty stoned and just found this, OMG Legend !!!!

And a local manchester lad too, get in there :D

  • quality cover. noel gallagher's pure brilliance

  • I swear it starts out as fade in/out?

  • @southparkobsessive

    it indeed does

  • yer it does

  • @southparkobsessive oh yeah nice one :)

  • @southparkobsessive i aggree

  • @southparkobsessive - Yes it does!

  • it does, spot on

  • @southparkobsessive Yeah, I think so too! BE HERE NOW was bloody great:-)

  • @southparkobsessive lol it does

  • the verve have actually split again

  • i love this.

  • Actually... They just broke up for a third time :S

  • Yep, it's downtuned to D and the chords he's playing are actually "Get Away" by Ocean Colour Scene.

    Absolutely amazing!!!

  • Your officially a legend, OCS keep the faith

  • I love it how Liam and Noel get along with Richard Ashcroft. They're quite picky with who they like in the music world, but The Verve and Oasis dominated the 90s and it's just so awesome to see Noel doing this amazingly powerful cover of one of the best songs ever written.

  • w.e internet Gangsta.

hes one of the most succesful song writer/ singer in the uk, and hes covering a classic. i like it, just because you dont like somthing dosn't mean he "cant sing at all"

    So FUCK UP !

  • your rite, from your comment i'm guessing your some kind of world class, sell out musical act and know when you listen to talent oh wait your not ?

show respect. noel's a great musician.

  • If Noel wrote this song with these chords, It would probably be the best song in the world. Credit 2 the verve though ;)

  • @209sburley Not really, since they sampled it.

  • @209sburley the verve didnt write this, mick jagger and keith richards did

  • @mad4it3187 u dumbshit, get ur facts straight. they lyrics are entirely ashcrofts', u a lawyer or something?

  • @mad4it3187 it was actually mick jagger keith richards and richard ashcroft

  • @cullenedward666 hmm I believe it is based on another artist's adaption of the Rolling Stones song 'The last Time'. Ashcroft dedicated his song to Jagger/Richards, mostly I believe because he had forgotten to give them credit for being an inspiration for the song in the first place. Jagger/ Richards didnt actually take any part in writing Bittersweet Symphony

  • @209sburley

It was actually taken from a 60's recording of a Stone's orchestral album, a version of "the last time". The stones get all the royalties for this song.

  • @philler22 are you sure about that? never heard that before..

  • @philler22 ´cause they are a bunch of Greedy Assholes

  • @209sburley if richard ashcroft wrote this song with these chords he might have made some money with it instead of paying all the royalties to jagger.....

  • Not bad ! Great Acoustic

  • fuckin to right m8 u no your shit :D

  • Yeah Noel just chose higher chords to suit his voice more.

  • yer he has made the chords lower actually i think he has drop it to D , the original is in E... i think he has done that cause it sounds better acoustically that way,, noels voice is way higher than that..

  • you can download anything you like off youtube by using youtube downloader just type it into google & follow wat it says its easy.

  • i love oasis. but listening to noel on his own with just an acoustic guitar is just amazing. so talented and so cool.

  • wow i aint licking his arse but noel is amazing talented

  • Do you have this on mp3 ? I really want to download it, it's amazing

  • this is amazing, so clear! just shows noel's prowess as a cover artist aswell!

    great song, great cover.

  • Why didn't you like it?

  • No, I mean live and in person. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

  • I'd love to hear him do this, "To Be Someone" and " There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" live. He is top class in every sense.

  • he does there is a light that never goes out on his solo album (dreams we have as children)

  • whens was this out m8?

  • A good mix between the verve and Oasis, I love how Noel plays the guitar above all on acoustic songs.

When I listen to the solos he makes at he beggining of some songs, my legs tremble, xD.

    Thank you for posting

  • This is epic. There's just something about Noel, everything he does is spot on.

  • this is excellent

  • in the beginning he's playing Fade in-out right?

  • wrong. that's bittersweet symphonys intro ;-)

  • no the bittersweer symphony's intro is a violin or cello or something anyway that not how it sounds on guitar either i think it's fade in-out intro

  • i'm pretty sure it's bitersweets intro, coz' he's tryin to play it few times in the begining.

ofcourse, i do know that it's a violin or cello in the intro, but you cant play that sound with one guitar :)

  • I think yes

  • nice one for putting this up, the dude on the other one pisses me off "woo baby baby!!!"

  • i wouldnt say Oasis are better than the verve... (and im the biggest Oasis bumlicker in the whole world by the way) i just think they have more songs that are remembered.

  • Oasis are my favourite band but the Verve run a close second. I know what you mean. I also think that Oasis have a more accessible sound, but the Verve are more technically talented - Noel can't play half as well as Nick.

Noel has his brilliant moments though - the solo in Shout it Out Loud is brilliant.

  • its well good i like it noel

  • the better¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • he s a fucking genius

  • This is stunning Noel takes what is already a seminal piece of music and takes it to a new depth of dispondancy and melancholy!!!.

  • yes,

    that....

  • noel is by far the best musician of the past 20 years.

  • @FrankHemmer probably not musician,but songwriter without a doubt!

  • Yea, but he really isn't the best musician in the past 20 years. In fact, I don't know if I would put him in the top twenty musicians in the past twenty years. But good call bloke.

  • oasis for ever fuck the rest

  • Type in Bittersweet Symphony Guitar lesson to the search on youtube and you 'll get the chords. That guy ziggy is a legend. He explains it perfect,

  • Are these chords different too the original version do u reckon?

  • love it how he just ripped played fade in/out at the start and then basically plays it throughout the song...fade in/out over the top of it

  • any idea what chords he plays here anyone?

  • I think... Dsus2 (xx0230), Cadd9 (x32030) , G (32xx30) and B/D (x20030)

    Noel is the fuckin Best!!

    Cheers!

  • i thnk it's E,Bm7,Asus4,A

  • i play it E, Dsus2, Asus4. A

  • noel should cover "the drugs don't work" the original is so great I'd pay a lot to see what it'd become!!!

  • I never understood those who did not like Noels voice. He is simply great!

  • all im gena say is

yes yes yes to the god that is Noel Gallagher :)

  • when was this?

  • be be be be beeeeee

  • anyone have a tab for this?

  • It's pretty much the same as Fade In-Out

  • what a wonderful symphony... thanks, noels hands...
