  • is it possible to have a supercharger and a turbo together in a 1nz-fe

  • @MsJosephzammit NO car is not designed for speed and can not handle extra power.

supercharger + turbo + labor costs will exceed the value of this vehicle

why would you want to ruin a low insurance, low tax, low fuel consumption, low maintenance asset ?

  • suena como petrolero

  • your engine is not a 2SZFE but a 2NZFE

  • @karlnifalgan it is 2SZ-FE it is the older 1.3 not the newer 1.33

  • @zloben9000 there is 3 differents version of 1300cc

the japanese 2NZFE (the best engine) base on the 1,5l 1NZFE (this case)

The euro version 2SZFE is based on Daihatsu engine (the exhaust header is inverted)

    The new 1,33l is 1NRFE.

Search on google image 2NZFE an 2SZFE, you will see the difference.

  • @karlnifalgan yes you are right ! i will change the title.

  • Thanks guys this sound is NORMAL for Toyota Yaris.

A guy working a Toyota told me that.

  • It sounds like ga1999 is right. When the engine warms up, the lube gets thinner. Try thicker lube, maybe some Dura Lube with it and check the valve system. My '97 Opel has a little tick-tick and I know it's from the hydraulical things that open the valves, excuse me, but I don't know what they are called in English.

  • Sounds like you might need to have the valve lash clearances adjusted. That will quiet down the engine and it will run smoother. Other than that you can't ask for much else out of a high mileage 1.3 cyl.
