I have to disagree. He's not trying to sound anything like them, he's just using the beautiful song they wrote to convey something of himself, and in that sense I doubt that he's trying to be compared to them directly. He may not have written the song, but he certainly performed it well in his own style.

man. wonderwall was sang by liam. liam's voice is unique. man the fact that he attempted to cover wonderwall maked he look like shit. it sounds ok. but if you compare it to the original, it's as if ben/he was singing for a comedy show. no offense guys, but it sounds like pure shit.

wonderall is a great song. oasis is an amazing band. i don't think a song like wonderwall should ever be covered. cause people will never be as good as oasis.
