he is not a man who can take over the power in iran. he does not answer the reporter question correctly. he does not have enough power to do that too.
I'M SURE PEOPLE WANT HIM AS LEADER;LOL! It'S NOT HE Who Has To Fight...His Grand Father Was A Soldier.. That's Why He Was Different! This IS Duty Of OUR DAMN ARMY..To Safe Our People! Long Live Iran!
The camera angle lies. There is a big Iranian National Flag on the other side where he is standing. This is The American Press club - and as customary - there is always an American Flag plus the flag of the country of whom ever is talking.
Respecting a country's flag - is respecting the people of that country and not their current government.
American people have been very good to millions of Iranians living there and they are mostly grateful of the treatment that they have received from them.
Thank you, Bahramerad, for setting the record straight... I am an American living in Washington DC, where many many Persian-Americans live. I am very active in the Iranian expat community and I fight for a free and prosperous Iran. America has been good to me (the son of an immigrant) and to millions of Iranians immigrants (Tehrangeles, DC, etc). This is a land of free speech; I demonstrated with my Iranian friends in front of the White House. We want to help you! Azadi Iran! Javid Shah!
SO STUPID. A so called "Iranian Journalist" asks a silly question from a so called "Iranian Price" IN ENGLISH, while the american flag is hanging there?! WTF? IF you call yourself iranian! what happened to your language and your flag? I'm never going to be able to understand these shah doost people!!CRAZY
I belive that revoultion will not slove our main problem iran we might get more freedom of speach or women dont need to wear hejab anymore but that is not our main issue in iran right now.
A revoultion will change manything and its costy for the people and for the economy of our country.
I know that Islamic republic of iran has done some terrible things to our people but lets not forget the good things they have done for us too Iran was a country who almost import everything from outside.
I believe that revolution will not solve our main problem iran we might get more freedom of speech or women dot need to wear hejab anymore but that is not our main issue in iran right now.
A revolution will change anything and its costly for the people and for the economy of our country we will lose our influence in other countries we are the 4th country who is helping the build iraq and its has made billions for different companies
in iran and no matter how good the new president and how good the government is going to be we will have influence of other countries in iran.
I know that Islamic republic of iran has done some terrible things to our people but lets not forget the good things they have done for us too Iran was a country who almost import everything from outside.
I also sympathise with what you say.We do not forget The peanut Carter and G.Houyser who was sent to order the Iranian Army to defect to the murdering Khomaini.
Good to know that he is standing near the flag of USA a country that overthrow mosadegh in 1957 supported iraq in the brutal war againts iran which result in death of 1 million poeple and now putting sanction on iran and makes the life harder for iranian poeple.
If he wants to make a change this is not the right way.
This film is at least 10 years old. Also the persian/iranian flag with the sun and lion which is on the right hand side is not shown on this framing of the cammera. I assure you that it is there.
But what we are really after is a FREE, INDEPENDENT and a DEMOCRATIC society, free from interference of ALL other foreigners in the conduct of Government in our internal and external affairs.
This goal will finally be achieved by Iranians for Iranians-
But we do and accept what help is offered to us and which we can get from all other Democratic countries who love Iranian People and have no malaise towards them.
Iam glad that i found some one who is reasonable to discuss these things over.
I belive that a revoultion will not solve our problems maybe it will give us more freedom of speach or women dont need to wear hejab anymore but thats not our main issue in iran.
A revoultion will couse iran to go back to 30 years ago and the other countries will interfere no matter how good is the new president would be.

I would personally REFUSE to stand in front of a US flag which stands for so much suffering for my beloved Iran and her people.
