If the garlic is minced... it will give even stronger garlic flavor..and you don't want to burn the garlic in the sauce.. maybe slice the garlic and cook with the sauce.. ^^
I made this and everything tasted so amazing except for the chicken was too salty..
I would like do try again because my mom liked the garlic and the peppers in it, but is there any tips that would make the chicken taste less salty?? thank you :)
Hi, Aeri, I'm really thirsty for your video. This recipe is also very delicious as usual. Ah, whether you have a black bean side dish in Korea, I have ever ate this in a Korean Reataurant before. Black bean is good for health. If you know, please teach me. Thanks.
Sorry.. what do you mean ? final picture ?? the chickens are cooked enough.. so you will not have raw chicken juice still on the stick once you finished all process. thanks
Good cooking/prep. But as for the recipe: i won't want to bite into a garlic clove...I'd marinate the chicken in the sauce, then grill it while brushing the leftover sauce on. I guess instead of garlic cloves use onions and green peppers. Also you need some burn marks for flavor, turn the heat on high!
this is cruel. i was studying for a test at night right now and see this...delicious god hand handled food. or is it just my fault for coming here to see this? it ain't my fault for food looking so good. afterall, art of eating starts with visual enjoyment.
That looks yummy! I want to try but maybe marinade the chicken in the sauce before putting everything on a skewer and then maybe basting some extra sauce on top of a grill. That way the garlic and peppers will stay kinda crispy :x?
Oh.. thanks for a good suggestion. We got an old house..I tried to clean the kitchen wall..but it doesn't come out.. old mark.. maybe someday we can change the wall. :)
@raininghard to get rid of odors.. just use a stainless steel spoon (or stainless steel soap if you can get it) and rub it on the affected areas under running water, works for fishy smells too :)
This looks so simple to make yet looks amazing! Thank you so much! I was wondering.. what is your method of getting rid of the garlic smell from your hands after touching it? I hate the garlic smell that stay on my hands for days...
Same here.. since I have to cook with garlic often.. my hands have garlic smell..I bought a metal bar from amazon.. it's for that purpose.. it works good. ^^ just rub your hands with that metal bar several times and wash.. ^^
thank you for sharing this delicious recipe, i'll try making it over the weekend..cannot wait^^

Is it okay to crush the garlic into the sauce instead? So it has a more concentrated flavour and skip putting them on the skewer?
