Can you tell me what the advantages of Inventor are over Solidworks? Everyone seems to love Solidworks, but from what ive found, Inventor has a similar funtionality. Is there anything Solidworks does that Inventor cant? Thanks for your help.

We have Inventor 10 (recently upgraded to 2009 I think) at our high school, but only because they seem to neglect every other department.
