the elite four before you do the island stuff are pretty easy i beat them with a team of all 55s. second one i just found out i need alot more than 65s

I would add any electric type just for the hell of it. Catch a pikachu and train till lv 29 so it can learn t-bolt. Evolve and teach it some good moves and level up

go to fuschia and go to safari park and then right at the back of the park there is a man in a hut who will give you surf
