  • Orit is the best

  • this muslim women want`s in ASS

  • @DYRL34

She is not a muslim.Orit is isreali jew

  • @aminanawal She is muslim...and she want in ass...not a jew

  • thumb up if u think arabian people can dance

    i think there hella good

  • i love to watch a wonderful performer. i love her. Also i want this costume.

  • belissima musica baila bonito e mulher simpatica!

  • Needs more energy throughout her body. Her smile keeps stealing the show, or the whole point of wearing that costume.

  • beautiful woman, beautiful dancing, beautiful music..

  • Good God!! I thought she was a devout Muslim! Seriously, though, I honestly assumed Muslims object to this sort of display. Certainly, Catholics did, at least up to the 1970s. Nowadays, of course, anything goes. But Muslims don't want other cultures laughing AT them and this is probably why they insist on a certain amount of modesty.

    Des, Dublin.

  • I don't think she looks "happy". for what i've seen in dancing, is kind of expression of strong emotion that could be joy till the point your about to cry, or you're hurt but you smile thougth. in any case I've never seen arabic dancin lookin so serious or sad in her face,

  • This is the only video of hers I've seen but I think she is SO sexy... looks a little drunk but like fun girl #1 if you know what I mean. If I was a sultan I'd pick her out.

  • she is very bad!!

  • Orit is amazing. Very graceful and beautiful.

  • الرقص الجميل من الوطن

  • Thumbs up if she reminds u of Janice from Friends! lol loved her costume though :)

  • she looks like Janice from Friends.

  • @smilesaround haha jokes, I'm almost expecting the laugh...

  • beautiful

  • A truly good example of 'Belly Dancing' but I have seen better in the desert in Dubia. I prefer a woman with a softer plumper belly who can realy shake it while turning slowly 360degrees. I was lucky enough to see the Great British Belly Dancing Competition in open air Covent Garden, and the top few were the best in the world by far.

  • i wanna do this.. it's very sexy..

  • i love this its so relaxing she looks happy

  • BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • name of the song

  • What a graceful woman! No piece of art can be compared to a beautiful sensual goddess.

  • Omg beauuutiful movements with the arms! So smooth, sensual and graceful

  • i really love arab girls, most of them have great tits !!

  • Aucune Grace .

  • ahh :) she has such a passion for dancing it shows, it's so refreshing :)

  • so good to see how she enjoys it :D Smiling beautiful dancer :D

  • Actually isolationism doesn't translate into art or dance. The art of dance being story telling. Its only a technique and one that's consistently overrated in American culture. I think you're quick to misinterpret too, I'm not reading w hate. I'm interpreting the fact that perhaps you don't know the dance as well as you might think. repetition is necessary in any poem, song or dance to create poetic stanzas. Technically aside from Dina, Orit is actually (ironically) the best Egyptian Dancer now.

  • @PearlLasky

It never was a story telling. Where did you get this idea? They had a singer who told the story during the song and dancer who was dancing. And talking about technique, you have to understand that without it any kind of dance looks like cheap imitation. Why did you mention only Americans? Not only Westerners, for example, Indian Classic dancers look down on bellydance too, because everybody thinks that it is ok to be a bd profi with loose technique and limited dancing vocabulary.

  • @GalinaMora Since Raks Sharqi had a single lyric added to a song belly dance has been storytelling granted many songs are instrumental but if u don't create a story in which to articulate your style or in which to add in your technical vocabulary, just like a pleasing image in a hotel all you get is visually pleasing but meaningless content. If you don't emote why dance at all? Of course it is not ok to be limited in dance vocab or have loose technique, but neither of these are faulted to Orit.

  • @GalinaMora The music and the dance are not supposed to be separate, the dance visually articulates the music but music is the primary thus dancer must interpret the music therefore her movement must create storytelling. Technique is important, but over technical focus is actually the root of cheap imitation not interpretation in which everyone owns their own unique view. There are awful belly dancers that deserve that acclaim but Orit is not one of them. (FTS who cares what the Indians think?)

  • @PearlLasky Where did I write that music nd dance have to be separated? Listen:high tecnique as high technologies NEVER look cheap, they can look boring and lifeless, but NEVER cheap.Dancing with poor technique certainly does.I still think that you r confused about meaning of "storytelling".I am not English native speaker, but I think you r mistaken bout translation of this word.Storytelling by a body is pantomime, not dancing. Dancing goes beyond teather and it is a visual part of music not text

  • "they had a singer who is singing and a dancer who is dancing." > I thought you meant you were separating the two.< High technique in cookie cutter form makes the dance look cheap; I do equate to lifeless especially without attention to "expressionism" which IS the story telling NOT "pantomiming". I am certainly not confused about storytelling which probably takes on a different definition in English than it does in your language. To affect a dance with one's own interpretation is the story.

  • Respond to this video... Also I do agree that its a visual part of music not text, but it translates the text of the music visually which is the part in which it becomes story telling and each dancer being an artist has their own individual interpretation. In this way, technique is good, but to be able to convey a message is sometimes more important. Never to deny good technique but it should never be the focus.

  • Right up my alley, Sally.

  • man orit has a great accompaniying band with her especially the vocalist, she kicks ass lol

orit is not bad herself either,i mean ive seen better but shes entertaining and is light on stage

  • Ummm so i thought you couldn't show your body like that. This is being two-faced you know?

and yea i admit it, she's good and blah blah blah, but, the fuck? Isn't she muslim?

  • i had no clue the women were allowed to dress that way

  • @thebadestnozzo i know, i thought they had to be covered , they bitch over there about people even kissing in public....

  • lovely dance! LOVE the smile, dancing is about being happy and showing it, specially belly dance. I personaly HATE belly dancers that look like they're in the middle of the sex act the entire time.

at 1:02, that's not easy, to be able to isolate the upper body from the lower like that, and do those different movements with hip and chest at the same time while keeping the back posture, not moving the shoulders, controling the somach etc... BRAVO!

  • @murderousbastard83 I guess when a women establishes herself as an artist,

even a sexual artist, she becomes exempt as an entertainer. This is definitely sexual entertainment! Is it really classical belly dancing??? She looks like she's had one too many and is ready to fall over! Almost.

  • beautiful!!

  • This is beautiful

  • Orit is very popular, I didn't hear about her until I saw people writing hate filled comments for the american tribal dancers. She's an awesome classical belly dancer.

  • beautiful

  • حلوة ورائعة. الله يعطيك الصحة

  • Beautiful. A dance fit for the gods.

  • It's ironic that a culture with such sexy women are so sexually repressed! Mostly by religion of course.

  • @murderousbastard83 TRUE DAT!

  • Whoever doesn't like this doesn't know shit about belly dancing. Idiots.

  • @jazzedbutterfly fuck you bitch

  • @jazzedbutterfly What do you think of this then?

    /watch?v=L8RBV-5gaCU&feature=related

    /watch?v=VriOhq1pkP8&feature=related

  • @ISMAHENE100 She is good too. Different styles though.

  • X Woooow Gooood <3 ^^

  • Laso in pula mea

  • I don't like the choice of music. Her movements are repetitive, her smile has got to go.. Arabic dance is sensual and intense; she makes it look like sleezy cabaret stripping. Wipe that smile from you face (not all the time smiling)

    YOu don't look Arabic.

  • also i want to add that you have to understand a woman to understand how she feels when she moves, women are creatures lol that live by you know self esteem, they like to feel sexy and it gives them confidence and when moving hips they like to feel something hooked there to just shake it and feel sexy and depending on what you wear ,somethings don't give THAT effect like a fringe to emphasize a hip twist for e.g. , so it is less thrilling to her excitement and she doesn't shake well from a chick

  • what you mean because her natural bosom is large its floppy lol? floppy? and women don't KEEP their bodies skinny to avoid that effect (you could just wear the right bra and support) not alot of females have larger busts and when you dance your legs are what gets toned most of the time with the exceptional other dances, most female dancers are skinny because it is NOW recommended and customary to have a performer that is not overweight by any standards scientific are by opinion simple as that

  • she is..ok

  • I love her carrisma & her smile, u want to keep watching her

  • Very Cul tur al

  • above all she knows her body. As her bosoms are naturaly large (and then floppy), she knows how to move her upper body and chest to prevent a counter-beat from her bosoms in movement. In many other types of dance , female dancers keep their body so skinny because of that un-wanted effect. But in bellydance her type of body are more useful (due to nature of bellydance and its suites) and sexy. I like her.

  • well, well, well...I actually don t like Orit so much, but this was excellent. Congratulations. Very beautiful, feminine, genious, adorable.

  • wow, all these people that talk shit... "sucky bellydancers who can't move their hips"... You might like it or not like it and it's your right, but everybody have their personal style and that doesn't mean that they can't move. A lot of bellydancers are victims of the american standards... bellyrolls, extreme layers etc... that is great but MIND that that's not the original bellydance, but just modern variations that were invented......

  • ....Egyptian dance is plain and simple because it comes from people who worked the ground, people who danced it on the streets etc. the movementes were just a few and very simple. Even the great "divas" were quite repetitive and did just a few movements. The important element of the genuine arabic dance is the FEEEEEL! (yes, with tons of E!).

  • ....Orit knows all the lyrics of the songs she dances at and express them quite well, without being tragic like dina though, who I find quite exagerated, but still, it's her style. I've had the honor to attend a workshop with Orit. We were around 50 people and danced in a circle. Most of us were crying. She's unique and such a generous teacher.

  • She looks a bit like Janis from Freinds..

  • o crap how can i teach myself to belly dance by observation and imitation if they keep showing sucky belly dancers that can't move their hips !!

  • very sexy and very gooood..:) love it!

  • She looks like she has studied Dina's technique a lot.

  • i m sexssy man

  • very nice

  • elegante,graceful,very nice

  • @jaibhajarangi Was meinst du?

  • I love her style and how flawless she is. Great personality on stage and I love her interpretation of the music!! Beautiful!

  • @nocoho1

cut that crap u just like her titties !

  • smiling adds to the whole effect

  • That costume is really pretty and you have a wonderful smile. You look like you are having so much fun!

  • She looks like she enjoys what she's doing so much. :) 5/5

  • I THINK SHE IS JUST BRILLIANT.

  • ive seen some other videos of her dancing- and i have to give her credit for moving, but in terms of good execution- not so much. and yes, i do agree she is rather repetitive in her choreography. also, her facial expressions are ALWAYS happy- she needs to understand that some songs you cannot smile, they are meant to be sad, slow and melancholic! she's good but needs a little more practice.

  • @ ulviye... ITA with everything you said.

  • @ulviye How funny! Orit understands very well the lyrics of the songs she chooses. Why would she dance in a sad way to a song that does not have sad lyrics? For those songs that are full of longing, loss, or other emotions, such as Lessa Fakir, Orit is appropriately expressive.

  • @weisha7 im sure u understand that this is just my opinion, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. im also glad that u found my comment amusingly funny!!! im not where the humor is but to each his or her own

  • @weisha7 EXACTLY ^.^

  • @MagycArwen

What do you mean by exactly?

  • @Anjamzahoor I don't remember what the comment was about and can't find it.. Sorry.

  • Comment removed

  • @JustSayCrispy um, yea. ok, i def understand where ur coming from- but i cannot help but to point out that this video was loaded up 3yrs ago, i mean if anything this performance could be even older than that. im sure she has grown as a dancer within the yrs of this video. im just commenting on this video, im experiencing this video face value and im just commenting on the things that stand out to me abt this dancer. otherwise im sure by now she dances great, thnx 4 ur forgiveness:)

  • @ulviye so if you don't think she's good who do you think is sadie? hahah

  • @PearlLasky "hahah" personally i dont get your humor. your sarcasm does not transfer well on this forum, if thats what you're going for. um, i've seen sadie thru youtube vids only and she's a great isolationalist, meaning she isolates extremely well. and what's with all the hate towards my comment- if read properly, it is to be taken as a opinion, and very diplomatically put. im not saying orit is a bad dancer, im just saying she's "ok"- basically she's not the greatest dancer i've seen.

  • I LOVE this song!!! But i prefere much more the version sung in the old video of Fifi Abdo, i think it was more connected to the original.

  • At least she isn't stiff as a twig and she looks like she really enjoys herself, and she can shake those hips!

  • She's fabulious!!!!

  • FYI...she is Israeli. Nothing wrong with that but this might explain why the techniques isn't very traditionally arab. But that said, I'm sure her family came from arab lands. Either way she's horrible

  • I thought she was Israeli. Her appearance and the unusual facial expressions and unorthodox moves. To me she looks jewish. Not typically arabic bellydancing. But, I've seen worse.

  • @SybariteLtd Hahaa, I agree.

  • shi is to booooooorrrrrrriiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggg

  • 5 stars for nice tits

  • wow..... I love this video.... so nice... Radka from Switzerland

  • She's healthy in all the right ways.

  • I don' know....she is not so elegant...

  • she is jewish...

  • Didn't find her attractive at first, but it seems her smile and enthusiasm for the dance got me in the end :)

And I wanted to add, the live band makes it even better.

  • Love her grace, sensuality, and how she enjoys belly dancing so naturally Thanks Orit!

    Long live to belly dancing.......

  • I WANT THAT COSTUME

  • This is actually belly dance, in modern terms anyhow. It is originally known as Raqs Sharqi or Oryental Danza. The term "belly dance" is used for this type of cance, which includes many chest movements.
