hey love ur video its like sanata and makes me wanna watch it over and over and it gives me chills in how good u are. I was wondering what scale were u using
@RussianGypsy3 Thank you very much .It's nice of you to comment . Much appreciated . It's the A natural minor with a G# added over the E chord .Or it could be called a different mode for each chord change ,but really it's just A B C D E F G [ G# over the E ] Occasional D# [ The " Devils Interval ] to add a bluesey bit
This Is Guitarpoet1 What kind of acoustic is that ?You have a great style I play also all kinds of music ..your songs ive herd over an over Rock on forever thank u for giving this music to the world...
I remember seeing you at Phun City - 1970 - the band was great & of the time - its good to see your back together - don't suppose you've got any film footage of that era?
Shure michael has golden fingers and bright soul...that I`m for shure since 1970 when I was 15 years old and heard "Free to be Stoned" on the radio the first time - it felt like birthday and x-mas on one day - Later A=MH2 - wonderful to meet you here!
Mick no matter how many times i hear it still one of the most impressive songs i have ever heard and im not sure whether that was improv and if it was absoloutely the best improv i have ever heard next to jaco and for that intro you should post an instructional video
Mick could you e-mail this to me in mp3 format so i could put it on a cd or something and show this to my friends it's a shame alot of them do not have internet because I speak for alot of them when I say we appreciate true music with such emotion and drive so please respond as soon as possible and thank you
I plug the video camera into one computer using a firewire connection and use sony vegas to record the picture and simultaneously record the audio int Stienberg Cubase . I mix down the multirack audio and then import it into Vegas .Then I manually line up the audio with the video .
Came across yout video by chance and didn't know if it was the same Mick Hutchinson or not til I watched it then I knew. Bought Gestalt in 1974 as a teenager and is one of few records I still have from that era and it still gives me shivers when I listen to it. Well done Mick - keep playing!

Any chance of playing solo in After hours or Improvisation on a Modal Scale pleeeeeease.
darrren61 4 years ago
We might do the tunes if we play live but those solos are improvised ,so they would be different
Thanks for the comment darren61
