  • i wanna go home too

  • Where did humans go from that list?

  • Lt commander data!!!!

  • 0:54 Bob's balls just fell off

  • SoOo Charmin. Movie!:)

    One Of My Favourites

  • specifics!

  • Why did he ask if the person is man or woman? it doesn't matter, right? a man or woman born at same time, same location, and still alive would have the same exact age.

  • Energy Bob, you know the little pieces?...

  • is that data? from star trek? if it isn't it sure looks and sounds like him

  • @ssj7gokurpg Yeah, it's him. That's how I ended up watching this video, actually. Saw it on his IMDB profile and had to see for myself! Hah! Love this movie, and TNG, but never noticed!

  • Data is beat by a small town genius.LOL!

    ~Steve B.

  • specifics bob!

  • I think vole would have been a better choice for V. For X mammals, he could have gone with Xantis, Xanclomys, Xenarthra, or Xenurine. For Q, he could have said the Quagga (extinct zebra subspecies with stripes only on the front half). For U, he could say the Uakari (fruit eating primate native to the Amazon rainforests).

And yes I had to google all those except for the vole.

  • @toddsmitts queer

  • I like how he only named like 24 mammals.

  • He out-Data'd Data there.

  • thats because there is no animals whos letter starts with X

  • @bd2202bd Xanclomys

  • he skips "x"

  • I love this scene. "Let's get specific, Bob."

  • here's the trick.. click to ripify [dot] com to download this song from utube.

  • I wonder why such a talented actor like Brent Spiner didn't have a bigger role. I surmise he wants to be remembered for his role as Lt. Commander Data. It's hard to recognize him with the beard and without his Hollywood make-up as Data.

  • This is a great movie! Travolta is amazing.

  • lol how old is a man bornin 1928...UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU such difficult this doesnt really fit with the movie i think

  • Shoot.

  • He said Hyena before Gorilla. He screwed up. Oh well. Not so easy to notice.

  • He said Gorilla, and then Hyena

  • Yeah I caught that after I watched this online.

  • No he didn't ??????

  • this was an unrehearsed scene, john travolta is just that amazing. lol

  • great movie

  • we documented a case of a genius who repsonded "huh?" to every question.

  • Maybe he talked dolphin and couldnt understand your questions due to his extreme IQ

  • best scene in the movie "Shoot Bob". XD

  • "wood?" lol

  • Comment removed

  • What about X?

  • xylophone

  • Love the reel-to-reels in the background. Totally obsolete in the 90's, but I guess they thought it would be a good effect

  • what about bob?

  • Where can I watch this online? for free? could someone help me please.... thanks

  • i would love to have his ability... without the tumor though

  • Way to give away the ending.

  • listen bob, say "a person born in 1928, still alive, how old is that person in YEARS?" lol, it is obvious he was testing Bob to see if he was actually listening to what he said instead of 'nodding in agreement'. hahahahaha :D

  • how could he have been testing him if he was the one who gave his self so much to rember.he was testing him on how qwick he could think. and how fast he could answer the ?.he couldent have been testing him to see if he rembers all that crap.cause he just asked him one ?

  • bob was being played with, that is what i said, please tell me you speak english as a first language

  • yes im borne here you can say my spelling sucks.i guess i never stay'd in school.sorry idont know to much about the movie.i only seen the little part were he asked him how old would the person be today.just from the start of the ?. till the end of the ?.i wanna wacth the hole movie. look like my kinda movie.

  • i meant no disrespect, listen to the clip again. when bob mentions the question the first time around, he never asks how old in YEARS. that is one of the specifics

  • one of the best movies i've watched.

  • i love the scene where he talks about the human spirit. if i knew how to upload bits of a movie legally, i'd load up more clips :) this movie is so touching and powerful! WE ALL HAVE THE TOUCH! ^-^

  • I would love to see the whole movie, I've heard it's really good. Is there any chance somebody could upload more of this movie? That would be really great :).

  • energy bob

  • My favorite part is when Robert Duvall slid his beer down the bar and it smashed everybody's glasses; and then he talked about George: "He wanted nothing from anybody!!! He wanted NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING!!!"

Robert Duvall was awesome in this movie.

  • they skip the x animal!!

  • I wish I was as good as he is in math!!

  • I love the end- when he puts his meds in teh pudding- feeds it to a friend. And when Lace says. " I'll love you for the rest of mine" in response to "Will you love me for the rest of my life?"

  • This is 1 of John Travolta's most inspiring movies.

  • This is a very inspiring movie.

  • My second favourite scene from Phenomenon! Do you please have the scene where he cracks the mirror, saying, 'LOOK AT HIM!' (I think that's right).

  • were all made up of the same stuff.

    wood??

energy Bob. lmao the psychiatrist looked like a dumb high school dropout.

  • Best movie ever !

  • Thank you for sharing!

Brent Spiner really is a good actor, but he will always be lt. commander data to me hehe

  • I agree. He also played another Soong character in Enterprise, if you haven't seen it. Series 4. Great stuff!

  • Don't forget he was also in Independence Day (ID4) with Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith back in 1996. He was that scientist in the lab in Area 51.

  • Oh yeah! I'll have to rewatch that again now!

  • @csgrambauer

    no he wasnt

  • @beemerrobbie He was actually. Search websites and you will see I'm correct.

  • My favourite part

  • Mine too! Love it!!

  • FYI - 67 years, 9 months, 22 days, 14 hours, 12 minutes from October 3, 1928 at 10:00 pm would be July 26, 1996 at 12:12 pm (which is 23 days after the movie's release date).

  • very awesome... are those actually all of the mammals..? i mean what about squireels elephants n all those, or did he catagorize em all...??

  • He gave one for every letter (except Q & X)

  • As he learned Portuguese in just 15 minuts, he could say "Quero-Quero" for the "Q", a beautiful and thin bird from South Brazil and "Xexéu" for the "X", a singing brazilian bird from North, found specially in the rain forest!

  • Those aren't mammals; they're birds. He could have said Quechuan Hocicudo (which is found in Bolivia) and Xanthippe's Shrew (which is found in Kenya and Tanzania).

  • If we're are talking about mammals... He could say "Queixada" for "Q", a look-alike wild pig and "Xué" for the "X", a strange animal, found in Amazon Jungle which is sometime, taken as a toad. Both are brazilian species!

  • You are so smart!

    Here, have yourself a cookie.

  • can you post the whole movie?that would be nice
