In the words of my favorite Prophet, "Come out of her My people." Come out of what? Religion=Babylon. @swiftspy you are so correct when you say "the majority of our world" is part of some religion. Again, In the words of my favorite Prophet , “Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed which leads to life, and there are few who find it." "Come out of her My people." Any person that says they belong to such and such a religion and say they worship g_d, I ask, "which one."
The cross is not Christian, it is a symbol of a death sentence by Babylon, Eqypt and Rome. The Messiah's name was never jesus. Don't be fooled by false religion. All religion is false.
@LaurieJo42 : There is only one religion and it is to submit to God, one and only. If religion and faith are false for you, it isn't for the majority of our world :-).
@swiftspy Excellent swift that we are to submit to GOD. Ive seen some muslims submit to GOD and accept JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOUR who are now saved and have a true relationship with GOD. The evidence is right there friend. Yeshuah loves you.
What does God say about THE SCRIBES Roman Catholic CROSS??? Isaiah 46:7 They bear him upon the shoulder, THEY CARRY HIM, and SET HIM IN HIS PLACE, and he standeth; FROM HIS PLACE SHALL HE NOT REMOVE: yea, ONE shall cry unto him, yet CAN HE NOT ANSWER, NOR SAVE HIM OUT HIS TROUBLE. The CROSS is IDOLATRY and a MARK OF THE BEAST.....Religion is the BREAD that LEAVENED THE WHOLE LUMP!!!....THE WORLD!!! Habakkuk 2:19 Woe unto him that saith to THE WOOD, Awake; to the dumb STONE, Arise, it shall teach
@spaghetti I've read the bible and there isn't a single detailed description in there. So ill tell you again; the "evidence" nearly always fits. Especially as discriptions were made to fit known locations, vague as they were. If you can't see that then you are blind!
I invite all of you to check out the new archaeological find that will revolutionize our understanding of humanity. Göbekli Tepe in Turkey will rewrite the history of man. It could be the death blow to all the monotheistic religions.
Funny,. people are claiming this has been debunked and calling names. but leave no evidence or proof to prove their claims? not even a link? so how do we know? personally I can't read the inscriptions so I don't know,. and I'll bet all the claimers of debunked can't either,.. lol
In fact there is a large volume of cities today referenced in the Bible. However that should not be construed to mean that everything you read therein is true. Battlestar Galactica for example references Earth and we know it's real, but that does not lend any credibility to the story of Battlestar Galactica (which was written by a Mormon btw). As for the rest of the exaggerated claims in this video... well, others commented on those already.
This story of the "discovery" was blown out of proportion from sensationalist newspapers who do - what they do best! The story was debunked - please don't post garbage like this because there are a lot of very gullable creatards who get over excited very easily at the first "hint" of evidence ....
Seems like forgeries to me. The "NT" is true and accurate, but the cross was not their symbol. Fish were. The forger just didn't know it. Unless the cross is just random from aging somehow or damage through the years.
If this is to be considered evidence of the first Christians, the Talpiot tomb is evidence of the Jesus family tomb. The remains of Jesus are in one of them.
@Mistertinman It can't be the family tomb. The names are fairly common, but the big problem is that Jesus was in fact crucified. No remains were of a crucified man. We can ignore the claims of resurection. He would have likely had missing feet and or hands. This wasn't the case.
Yes, the truth. Not knocking Christianity but this works both ways, Unfortunately when evidence is discovered that contradicts the bible most Christians/believers ignore it or believe it was planted by the devil. I have been told by many GODLY men and women that the bible tells them not to debate, I think I understand why....
@manowar40 Unfortunately when evidence is discovered that contradicts the bible most Christians/believers ignore it ???? What has ever been dug up to contradict the bible ? I belive you are speaking on things you dont understand at all. There is nothing that has ever been dug up to contradict the bible . Before you post on any subject I think you should at least know what it is you are trying to defend.
@mystic81006 Really, I mean do you really believe that? Either you have been home schooled or you live in a box. Bar or Biblical Archeology in Review has a a great deal of information that contradicts the bible, The moon reflects light and the human body is not made from dust. IT"S 98% WATER. Believe it or not, There was a time period called the"stone age" that didn't refer to college students down in Florida partying. The deity during the stone age was FEMALE!! She was the first God or species
@manowar40 CAN YOU PROVE THE BODY IS 98% WATER?? WITH OUT A DOUGHT? FOR A FACT? NO YOU CANT, NORE CAN THE GUYS WHO MADE THIS STAMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE.You are using lies made form others to claim things that are bull shit. The body has more blood then anything, and water is not blood. There was not time period called the stone age, another lie,you cant prove it any where.becouse you think the first so called deity was a woman then I walk away from this stupid conversation, I dont talk to stupid.
@mystic81006 Yes, I can see where this is going. Let me guess... the Illuminati stole your lunch when you where a kid:( Perhaps the Anti-Christ is sending you satanic messages through your fruit loops. You would be willing to believe in a lie to support your religion rather then accept the truth of what I say. I CAN PROVE EVERYTHING I SAY!!! I can provide hard archeological proof of everything I say. What proof do you have? Let me guess..the bible. run away..run away
@mystic81006 The archeological and pre-historic recored indicates early humans worshiped a mother deity!! I know it's very hard but please just try and imagine a time when people used stone projectile points and hunted and gathered and did not live in nice homes and drive nice cars. Most people call it the Stone age, But you can just call it the rock age, And if it makes you feel any better, I am pagan and a man and I follow the old ways. So, Me and Lucifer are tight.
@manowar40 I dont talk to stupid People I dont understand men who are all liers when it comes to not beliving, they even make up stupid statments like you just did.The stupid remark you just posted is like ice mealting into nothing. You nore any one else has any proof, if you did you would have posted this so called proof. Please please please dont repost to me at all or i will block you becouse you talk stupid, you think stupid and trully follow stupid men who know nothing of this world at all.
@manowar40 See here people, here is a good example of talking stupid, I asked him not to repost but he still does,I guess he does not know how to follow instructions.
@mystic81006 Sure, Whatever slick. Stupid is as stupid does. I am sure the good people in youtube land have better things to do then trying to figure out what you define as stupidity!! Now go back to your corner and play nice, God is watching you.....
@manowar40 , but the evidence says they also carved 100ton blocks of granite and even harder rock with what? we use diamond saws to cut that stuff today. and still cant move 100ton blocks. I think you been duped. the Native Americans used the same tools you speak of, and very recently. ON VIDEO! and very well documented too! LOL
@SPAGHETTIMONSTER1 How have I been duped? I am aware of the technique and it doesn't require diamond blades just a piece of good string and abrasive material and animal fat. The Chinese used this technique in cutting jade, It took about six months to cut a slab of jade off a boulder. So what am I getting wrong?
@manowar40 , how did they move a 100ton block? I'v done a little more research and found we can move the weight but it involves heavy equipment "the most powerful" and roads. I'v also seen hole cuts etc. the string idea could explain some of the cuts, and even some of the more precise ones. but there is still a lot that just seems impossible
@mystic81006 EVER WORSHIPED....Oh! I forgot the Archeological record doesn't contradict the bible. Yes, And I am sure you would make an excellent candidate for the Darwin award:)
@TheDarvus These were prophecies written long before He was born and there are plenty of other historical data that prove Jesus of Nazareth was real person who lived, was crucified, and whose body disappeared when the Bible states it happened. Credible historians don't dispute this.
It's well known that Jesus and many Biblical figures were real people and are mentioned in a variety of other documents and archaeological evidence other than the Bible. The Bible is not a primary historical source and like most writings cannot be taken as entirely true. After thousands of years of oral tradition and mistranslations, it is hard to believe the Bible as we know it today is exactly the same as the original, and even if it were doesn't make it all fact.
Atheism is a religion and it's members cling the tightest to their beliefs with no evidence, only a series of "accepted theories". I'm not a religious person but, since no one has ever accurately disproven anything in the Bible (including the Flood because there is science that contradicts carbon dating), then logically, the Bible must be true. No other historical text can claim that this is so. Not even our school books.
@sivonni your such a dumbass, ahteism itself means "no god" ergo no religion, besides atheists can only become that after letting bullshit go.
and the bible cant claim to be 100% accurate, even when some stuff gets proven to be right, considering it was copied and translated so often there are bound to be errors in the first place.
@gamiezion When the Hebrew scribes copied their sacred texts they literally wrote it one word at a time, stopping to use a different pen whenever they needed to write the name of God. It HAD to be exact. No mistakes were accepted. It took YEARS to copy. Translations are where people have issues, which is why, if you're serious about studying the Bible, you need to study Ancient Greek and Hebrew (not the same as the modern languages) and how they were translated into your language.
@sivonni even with such laborious work, mistakes sneak in, no matter how much its being checked. at any rate, people havent been as precise after the bible was actually put together (4th century AD). i dont see how reading the bible in greek/hebrew would anything to my perception of the bullshit thats in the bible. most things in there are physically impossible, like the flood, walking opn water and splitting an ocean. im sure theres a normal (i.e. no supernatural) explenation for each
@gamiezion So you've never heard about a "miracle" on the news? A mother lifting a car off her child? There's a tv show called, "I Should Have Died". Physics say it can't happen, but it does. ALL THE TIME. There's a place in California called "the Mystery Spot" where the laws of physics don't work. Just because we don't understand it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. And if the Bible is proven accurate on what is natural and historical, why wouldn't I believe the supernatural too?
@sivonni actually, people have been known to have acess to alot more power when experiencing such episodes, so theres nothing miraculous about her lifting a car. and there always is a medical reason included in the show you mention, havent you noticed?
all the examples (including the bible) can be interpreted in so many ways you cant really say anything is true, without turning a blind eye to evidence for another event/concept.
in the reall world that oftenly means the concept is flawed/fake
@gamiezion You're generalizing. Give me a specific example and I'm happy to debate. I'll start. Dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible (in Job chapter 40). So are dragons. Your thoughts?
@sivonni i dont have to give you anything, the plain and simple truth is that the ENTIRE bible is so vague it can be applied to just about anything. how else would you explain the various denomenations and according bibles within the christian faith?
if you cant argue with that, you might as well admit that im right, youve pretty much done so allready.
@gamiezion the ENTIRE bible is so vague it can be applied to just about anything???????? Ok, It has full names, times, and names of places, is the full names what you call vague? Im confused on what you just posted here is all becouse when I get a book with full discriptions of true events with true city names with true proven men who have been proven to have lived then I know for a fact there is nothing at all vague about any of it.
@mystic81006 its vague because noone really knows where said places are, its vague because there are hardly any (if at all) records of said names and the times... oh place, they are anything BUT accurate.
and you keep saying the bible is true, but its not. you can repeat yourself over and over againg, you wont be any more right though.
so far you havent mentioned anything that in the reall world has been verified by... well, anything.
@gamiezion Its funny that you say its vague because noone really knows where said places are is stupid at that, do you know what video you are posting this on? With all tyhe proof ofg all the places? WOW,GOOD BY,I DONT TALK TO STUPID.
@mystic81006 you dont talk stupid? for as far as i can tell your pretty good at it, ive seen the vid and ive seen nothing creditable whatsover. considering your first sentence makes no sense whatsoever!
@gamiezion Most of the places mentioned in the Bible are known and have documented locations. Many have been recent discoveries (within the last few decades) as more and more archaeological digs are permitted in the Middle East. You don't want to believe. That's a choice. I question my beliefs and follow up with research. If you'd done the same you know how ridiculous you sound when you say "the ENTIRE Bible" was vague. It's so specific that people nitpick over how accurately they measured Pi!
@sivonni just because *a city* has been found in an area similar to *a city* in the bible, doesn't mean the events said to ahve taken place in that place, far from it. actually texts would verify said events. and sadly, the texts that somewhat verify the events are contested at best.
if you think you have done research and can still say the bible is accurate in any way then you are dead wrong. just looking at the (literally) thousands of different interpretations to the bible, that (cont)
@gamiezion alone is a dead give away on the inaccuracies!! then there are the descriptions *he or she lived in that and that place, which had such a wall and some donkeys too!* nowhere does it say how far it is from any known place, or what distinguishes the wall from any other wall of the era. if you cant see those vagueries you are truly and unrevocably retarded
@gamiezion You mean the modernized translations? I agree that's a problem because that's someone translating a translation and it doesn't always work. If you want something easy to read, go for the "Message" version, but don't be surprised by contradictions. If you want to research, I'd recommend the "amplified" versions where the creators went back to the original texts and you'll find a lot of the so-called discrepancies work themselves out with correct translations. (cont)
@gamiezion Despite the lack of such specifics and GPS coordinates in the Bible, archeologists are finding the ruins of cities and tombs of people by studying ancient texts including the Bible and digging at their best guess. It's not "vagueries" but lack of research on your part.
@sivonni actually its the guesswork on the part of the " archelogists" and "scholars" who do this " research" where the vagueness comes from. the stuff they find is oftenly enopugh so extraordinarily general that they can be attached to just about any city/place/building/person/wgatever else from the era. im saying this after long having studied the things claimed to be found in the middle east.
@gamiezion Do you want the Bible to say "Moses led the people this many miles to the Red Sea, parted the waters at these coordinates..."? People didn't measure distance the way we do today. They measured in time, "Going to the temple, be back in a couple weeks!" How accurate do you need an ancient text to be? The measurement of the cubit changed with each king (from his elbow to the tip of his finger). That's what I meant by doing research about the customs and manners of the people. (cont.)
@gamiezion , it's so vague the found the burnt mountain the alter of the golden calf and the broken rock. don't figure? The crossing has been marked (also found.) And there are remains of chariot's under water. there really is a lot of factual stuff from the bible.. ON VIDEO FOR THE WORLD TO SEE, if they want to. lol, there's even a ton of evidence for the GIANTS of old. :0) . There is only 1 building on earth that has stood for over 6000 yrs. and point's to the year AD10,500!
@SPAGHETTIMONSTER1 the alter was little more then a rock formation, so anything can qualify, the burning doesnt really say anything as any fire could have created it and the chariots... who really knows what they were doing there, were they even from the same time as moses (is it even known what time moses actually lived in??).
again; you have just proven nothing, like every other christian that goes this far with their religious BS.
@gamiezion , you haven't seen it obviously. it fits the "exact" descriptions. even the 4 story split rock is there. eroded from water flowing up out of the ground. is even a lake bed from the water, the crossing is also marked. p.s. I don't call verifiable facts B.S. the alter is man made and has Egyptian style carvings on it. so call me religious for seeing this and saying what I saw,.. big whoopy
No you athesits have come up with this new idea that Jesus was not even real, yet when faced with EVIDENCE like this you run back into your hole and pretend it doesn't exist. You will never admit that God is real, or Jesus is who he claimed to be. you have made your choice in life and you will have to deal with that when the time comes. That is for certain and you cannot escape it. You cannot wish God away. He was here before mankind and will be here long after this world and you, is gone.
@NickJD75 Exactly bro'! They will blindly & faithfully believe & follow Archarya, Whorus, Richard Squakins, & zeitgeist, yet disregard that they all been proven twists & lies =FAIL. We have more evidence of Jesus outside the Bible even, than most historical events! If one does simple research, deductive reasoning alone should tell them that The Resurrection & Christian rapid explosion was for real.
We have archeological evidence that supports Suetonius' writings but this in no way validates, justifies or gets us any closer to confirming his truth claims that there were prophetic utterances, signs and supernatural portents concerning outcomes of battles, claims of supernatural backing by the various caesars, and so on. How do you get from archeological evidence that places, events and perhaps even people existed to 'Jesus is God?' Seems someone is bridging the gap with a heap of credulity.
@vryc There are over 300 prophecies regarding the "Son of God" in the Old Testament (which have been proven to have been written long before lived) which Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled. The odds of any one man fulfilling 8 of these prophecies were determined by mathmeticians to be 1 in 10 to the 17th power. That's just 8 prophecies. Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled over 300. If that's not paranormal or "outside or other than normal", then I don't know what is.
@sivonni There are two immediate problems with using the Bible as a measure of veracity:
1) If these prophecies were in fact meted-out by Jesus as a function and fulfillment of his god-hood then having only a single source is problematic because that source could easily be wrong. Without objective confirmation these 'fulfilled prophecies' are described WELL AFTER THE FACT which is no steady means for verification.
2) The Bible is not an infallible document. History is skewed all over the place
I need friends, I'm interested in digging Kayseri turkey excavated Hittite never know where I can not dig because they have limited opportunity if interested friends (gsleee_38@hotmail.com) access from bana.teşekürler
It also says never make a Obelisk so get rid of all your your money. OHHHHH you are a Jehovah Witness - now it all becomes clear. You can't understand the truth because you don't have the Holy Spirit. Never mind, go on speaking nonsense. Christmas trees are the devil, Crosses are the devil and Jesus was killed on a stick not a cross. The Watchtower is your real Bible and the bible is Just commentary on what your cult leaders say.
Now you are just being stupid. Does that mean that the US flag is not a symbol of America because others used flags before. What ever you name is you should stop using it because someone had that name before so it's their symbol not your so your name is not your name. GET REAL
And the circle is a pagan symbol that was used by druids so you can't ever use it again or you prove you live in 2100 BC - Just because a cross symbol was used by tom the pagan don't mean it wasn't used by Christians in the 1st Century you know the time the artifacts was from. I the christian were the ones using the Cross in the 1st century when the tomb was built that means they were christian tombs not Tammuz that someone in the 1 Century built 1000's of years later.
Try reading a history book Most of the graves in the Catacombs have crosses on them. The Fish, the Cross and the Sheep were all code symbols used by the early church to hide from Rome.
@Guitarrosaurusrex with a stupid comment like that you are not worth the dirt on my boots moron. U r intellectually inferior.I know the history imbecile.I know when the cross & fish etc were used as symbols and why. Inbred.LOL.you are an amazing moron.Other morons aspire to be you.
If you could "point" me to the vid that would be most helpful (I've looked up "Demons on my shoulder" on YT and all I get are rap and Offspring vids popping up). I will watch them with an open mind, this I absolutely promise.
So what? Even if we found The Garden of Eden, complete with welcome sign, it still wouldn't prove that God existed or that Jesus was the Son of God. I'm willing to grant all: the parting of the Red Sea, The Virgin Birth, The Crucifixion of Jesus, Paul's Ministry... still proves not one iota that God exists. All it proves is that these people and places were real; this is no less than the Obelisks or the various Stelae found in Egypt - still don't prove that the Egyptian gods existed.
@vryc The God you dont think is there speaks of NOW-Russia, Iran, Turkey aliance against Isreal, One world Gov. WW Economic Crisis, Nuclear War, & more. God pinned the year 1948 for Israels return to its land over 2,000 years ago, He says the generation that see's Isreal become a nation again is the Last One before Tribulationn. God has measured time, and it about up. He also speaks of the current peace process, When they shall say Peace and Safety, Sudden Destruction will come upon them
@luettem "The God you dont think is there speaks of NOW"
So then, why are none of God's non-fullfilled prophecies (Matthew 24:34, Mark 13:30 and Luke 21:32 to name but a few) not relevent when trying to make a codified estimation as to when Christ/God will return? Cherry-picking does no good; either everything is absolute and true in the Bible or i'ts all just interperative dissonence, in which case it's useless to both sell and disseminate factual truth and fabrication.
@vryc They are relevant, in fact current. God told the exact date of Israels return, and said THIS generation thats see Isreal become a nation again is the Last One before all is fulfilled.....being blind does not become one. watch God has already Measured Time, you tube-There is NO cherry picking, God has fortold all that is happening now,
So, Israel becomes a nation in 1948. The average human lifespan is around 80 years. By your reasoning (or the Bibles, whichever) we've got around 20-some odd years (give or take 10) left before Christ returns in glory.
A) then God has a ton of time for me to make himself known to me. I'm open and willing but I won't believe out of credulity.
B) If 2040-ish passes and nothing happens, can you promise to do away with your now-proven-wrong belief system?
@vryc no actually the Rapture of the body of Christ is any day, Tribulation should begin this year, Israels 7 years are about here. If you had known His Word, you would already have a heads up, however, Most have chosen to ignore God. You REALLY dont have much time, Once Tribulation begins, you dont have a prayer.
@luettem "Tribulation should begin this year, Israels 7 years are about here."
Okay, let's say I give you 20-years here (and according to you this would be on the obese-side of generosity). If the world hasn't ended, if the Tribulation hasn't at the very least started, what are YOU going to do? Many people before you have made hundreds of predictions based on biblical prophecy and NONE of them have either come true or have been in any way accurate. An education on Cold Reading might help.
@vryc not wathcing?? There is about to be a War for Israel, in which God Himself with step in, They will be victorious over islamic nations around them Form this, the anti Christ will arise. Yes Tribulation is just about HERE, hope you dont have a front row seat. but then you didnt watch the vid did you?
@vryc Post Script, HE JUST DID---Go watch "Demons on my Shoulder Youtube for more info, then most of the entire world has at this moment. Dont come back with it isnt real, I have seen this stuff myself, personally. You will have answers to all your questions. But you'll need courage, watch all six....
I do not subscribe to any laws- those of men or gods- and I'm fine. I don't need a god or a man to tell me what is good or bad, or how to conduct myself.Good and bad are in obvious contrast. What more do you need. Is it good when god instructs his worshippers to rape, rob, pillage and plunder the towns and cities of his adversaries? What kind of god needs men to do his dirty work? Why can't he fight his own fights, and take responsibility for his mistakes? God seems to be a politician.
Of course there is going to be archeological evidence in support of the NT. However it still doesn't prove rather or not a man named Jesus walked around. Anyone could create a myth and leave it behind.
OMFG... there are few in the world that dispute that the various people and locations in the bible are real. it is the other bullshit claims made that are in dispute. noahs ark, turning water into wine, walking on water, curing the blind and the resurrection... all bullshit and CAN NOT in any way be proven. not only can these ignorant myths not be proven, but they go against all common sense no matter how you look at it. EXAMPLE... why don't god and jesus love amputees? because their not real!
@governmentcheese411 "they go against all common sense no matter how you look at it."
Those events certainly are claims that are extraordinary, no doubt about that. But from the outset, scripture asks us to give intellectual assent to the most extraordinary claim in all of scripture. Namely, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
Once you've gone that far, what makes us think that the same Creator lacks the ability to manipulate His creation as He wills?
@HeReformedMe lol... there is NOTHING! to support a single word of the complete nonsense so many hold true in god. in fact, there is more evidence in bigfoot than in god. it takes a feeble mind to conceive there ever was a beginning or will ever be an end. there is NOTHING that even slightly suggests these events to be true.
@governmentcheese411 "it takes a feeble mind to conceive there ever was a beginning"
Funny, Einstein believed that the univers began to exist. What a feeble mind he was, huh?
Furthermore, your original point seemed to be that we have no proof of the miracles recorded, because we can't prove they happened. Science can only test the laws of nature. The very essense of a miracle, is that, they are not repeatable, testable events. If we could perform them, they would not be miracles.
@HeReformedMe lmao! einstein conceived the universe as a static universe with a beginning and an end. a theory later proven wrong by edwin hubble. einstein later called it his greatest blunder. great example simpleton,lol.... and furthermore, lol, there is NO "seemed to suggest" about it. i clearly state that there is NO evidence AT ALL that would suggest ANY of the bullshit taught by religion is true in any way, period.
@governmentcheese411 Wow man, I guess you are way out of my league. How dare I (a creationist) try to match wits with one such as you? Please forgive me.
It's just that it seems to me, that if the universe and everything in it is actually "infinite" then it follows that we must have already crossed an infinite amount of time to get to this moment we are in now. This is impossible since it is impossible to cross an infinite amount of time. Why? Because we would never get here. But here we are.
@HeReformedMe lmao! he might have reformed you, but he damn sure didn't educate you. your pathetic analogy of time is a joke at best. time is a perception and would have NO validity as you present it in you rebuttal, period. you don't even have a basic understanding of the very theories you reject. talk about an ignorant decision. how do you rationalize calling something wrong that you don't even understand?
@governmentcheese411 Now I'm LOL! You do realize your last statement amounted to nothing but a string of ad hominems don't you? You failed to address any real point with a point of your own, other than you are rejecting my statement based on nothing other than the fact that you believe me to be a fool. If thats the way you choose to think, fine by me. But this also renders this conversation to be pointless.
@HeReformedMe omg, you got owned you fool and you know it. nothing you said about time has ANY relevance you fool. your dumb ass comment amounted to whether a tree makes a sound when it falls and no one is around. there is NO rational point to it stupid, which does NOT make my rebuttal an ad hominem. again, you need an education fool. now again, kick rocks fool. you're a waste of my time.
@HeReformedMe so come on fuckleberry, i dare you to try and explain your dumb ass time analogy you fool. please retype this ignorance so we can all get a laugh. you're wrong about your fucking god. wrong about your ignorant conception of time. wrong about einstein's theory of the universe. would like to keep going, or have you proven your ignorance enough yet fool?
How about the single fact that NONE of Jesus' contemporaries wrote anything about him? And therefore everything that has been attributed to Jesus is hearsay including his existence?
And how about the fact that Evolution has proven that Adam & Eve never existed so neither did "Original Sin". So what exactly is Jesus supposed to forgive us for? Being human?
Hardly the kind of evidence I need to switch my brain off and say "God dunnit"
@warren52nz Heard of Flavius Josephus? He was a contemporary of Jesus and an important Roman historian. Evolution doesn't proven anything since it's flawed and based on "theories" without actual evidence. An educated guess is still a guess. And there are many theories about mistranslations of the original Hebrew texts regarding Adam and Eve which would "disprove" your evolution theories. No one knows for sure. I've been studying the Bible my entire life and learn something new every day.
@sivonni Yes I've heard of Josephus. I've read the disputes about him being a contemporary too. But I don't care if Jesus was real or not, I'm certain he was just a guy. A nice guy but nothing supernatural.
If you think Evolution has no "actual evidence" then you either haven't looked at the evidence or you're brainwashed by Clergy. Evolution is as certain as the fact that the Sun is the center of our Solar System.
As Billy Connolly says, "Never trust someone with only one booook." LOL
@warren52nz There is zero evidence for evolution, all there is are observations of science which are interpreted by idiots for a theory called evolution.
When you use the same evidences that evolution claims and use the bible as a point of reference, they all make sense in a completely useful way that glorifies our creator instead of useless random mutation (which does not create new creatures from existing creatures or make an existing creature from a lifeless piece of matter).
OK, watch these. There's way too much evidence to type it up in 500 letters. Tell me what's wrong here:
watch?v=Qfoje7jVJpU&feature=related
watch?v=i1fGkFuHIu0&feature=related
watch?v=-CvX_mD5weM&feature=rec-HM-fresh+div
The last one shows a human baby with a mutation that turned on its gene for making a tail. This is usually turned off of course but it's there. Why would God give us a gene for a tail???
@TruthSeekingOne Have you ever played Yahtzee? You can roll 5 of a kind in only a few rolls by keeping the ones that are the same and rolling the others. The selection process makes it non-random. Now take life, add 4 BILLION years of Natural Selection and there's nothing surprising about what we see around us.
Why don't you pick something less obvious to not believe in... such as the Earth's shape?
Your name is horribly ironic. Truth is the LAST thing you're seeking!
@warren52nz Natural Selection SELECTS, it does not create new information.
So your argument fails already in that alone. I'll give you 5 billion years and natural selection alone, and you will have nothing but what you started with, if there isn't new information added, a creature does not change and become better or more complex.
Evolution Theory suggests we all evolved from a rock that was rained on and produced life from nothing.
@TruthSeekingOne Well that was a pretty epic fail. The things you said are ALL 100% wrong.
Evolution says NOTHING about the origin of life, Evolution DOES produce new information through a process called frame shift. That's how Nylonase evolved. Do some fucken research buddy!!!
@warren52nz How about you do research, there are several categories of Evolution if you are a true atheistic evolutionist believer.
Cosmic Evolution
Chemical Evolution
Stellar Evolution
Organic Evolution
Macro Evolution
Micro Evolution
Only the last one on the list is true and able to be proven by real science. This is just the changes and variances within species but does not create new information or make the species more complex.
@TruthSeekingOne I think we all understand that we're talking about Darwin's Theory of Evolution, The Origin of Species. I am anyway.
You're completely and demonstrably wrong about macro Evolution. It's nothing but lots of micro Evolution events strung together. If you can get up to get a beer from the fridge you can walk to the store to buy more. They're both walking, one is just more of it. The fossil record is easily complete enough to prove macro Evolution. Ask a Biologist.
Even if these names, very common names in that period and place, were proved to the the actual people mentioned in the NT, which is doubtful, it would not prove the truth of the NT. There is strong evidence that Roosevelt and Hitler, two characters in novels by Herman Wouk, were actual living people. Does that mean that Winds of War & War & Remembrance are historically verified true stories? Of course not.
Throughout Jesuses ministry he taught the law of Moses , as he said"i have not come to destroy the law but fullfill it"The 10 commandments stand, they are our moral guide to be perfect, like our Father in Heaven is perfect.Anyone who does not obey the law is not a Christian.Read your Bible yourself and check everything , you hear by it and you wont be fooled."Not everyone who says Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven".Check and see if your in the Faith, better now than on judgement day.x
The letter J is only 500 yrs old. Stop calling him Jesus his name hi Yahushua. He came in his father's name. YaHuWaH. Jesus means earth pig in greek/latin.
@loridrop transliteration is not uncommon and nothing about it suggests that it is displeasing to God. Even the word God is not supposed to be used to describe the almighty, yet most English speaking people use it. The word God is derived from an ancient Nordic deity called Goada. Just because English speakers pronounce "Yeshua's" name as Jesus, does not in any way belittle their love for Him, and it does not invalidate their faith.
Many prophecies are "fulfilled" by the simple expedient of inventing and writing a fulfillment that never happened in fact. An example is Matthew 2:13-15, which has Jesus as a child being hauled off to Egypt to escape the "slaughter of the innocents". Neither the move to Egypt nor the slaughter ever took place. Matthew wrote this lie to be able to say "And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son." " No other gospel or history records this.
And why do you not understand why it was not reported? Because this has been debunked time and time again. This is really sad. How about a statue of someone who rose from the dead . How about the smartest and wisest man ever (solomon) or David , how about Moses. No, you say? how about Abraham? No? I wonder why? Oh I know & so do you , they did not exist.
@caddy1010 Archaeology has already found evidence that David and his son existed, beginning in 1993. Egyptians have had prove of Moses's existence for even longer. As for Abraham...he was the father of the Jews and the Islamic people. There's plenty of historical proof of his existence. Do a little research before making broad statements like that. A Google search will give you hundreds of articles about recent archaeological finds.
@lizazoon True, but we can rebut ignorant statements and offer what evidence there is that the Bible is accurate. There are certain parts that are about faith or miracles that, of course, cannot be proven. But there is nothing in the Bible, when properly researched, that has ever been disproven. Take any argument mentioned in these comments, do a Google search, and you'll find articles for both sides of each. I've studied both sides and found nothing to disprove my faith in God or the Bible.
What people are saying is the Gospels we have today can in no way give us a look at what the Historical Jesus was like Scholars can only attribute 20% of his sayings from the Bible to what he might have said. If there beings Christians back then proves Jesus is God well then there being Muslims after Muhammad proves he road a horse to heaven.
Its stupid we all know he had fallowers the documents we have of his life are corrupted. The question is what his true fallowers believed
Mark is the first Gospel written we have a editted verson if some scholars are right
and the Q document is real then it is possible Lazarus plays a much different version in the Bible then John " the latest of the Gospels" would have us believe!
Morton smith may have found a peice of this lost Gospel but then the Catholic church will not let scholars date it. Because it says some rather odd things.
We do not have writings from Jesus direct fallowers we know Paul was a Christian about 20 years after Jesus death we also know there were lots of different kinds of Christians Beliefs ALREADY from his writings! at that time the forum you fallow today comes out of the Roman Church I doubt the early Christians visions and life of Jesus are much different then the 4 Gospels make them sound because neither Paul nore Mark say ANYTHING about hisMiracles after death.
I have never heard any one say there is no Archolgogy evidence for the New Testament. We know there were lots of different types of Christians who believed all kinds of things before the gospels. What did they believe is the question
Please no hate mail, but i swear all the people that make new discoveries new ideas, new everything, their names are always charles. Its just something i noticed.
wow they found graves of people with the same first names.......how many people are buried in new jersey are named Mary. This guy fails to mention the oshuary of Jesus that was found with this group proves the resurrection never happened and that Mary Madelaine was his wife.
Yeah, you say that but you would no doubt celebrate when they seem to find some old bones of a guy named Jesus, thus "proving" that Jesus was not resurrected... The names alone are not what is so amazing, it is that they were found together, in the right areas and with the cross symbol, which only Christians would have used.
No. That symbol was not a cross, but was a pagan symbol that had nothing to do with the Roman torture device we know as a cross. It had a loop on the top, and if I am not mistaken, was used by the Egyptians. We are not "X-tians" we are the seed of Abraham
The cross was used before in astrology to represent the sun at the center of the 12 houses. That is why on some churches you will still see a cross with a circle around the intersection point.
The cross was used by Christians in the first century to represent the work of Jesus Christ for all the world. There may have been a symbol or some symbols that bore a resemblance to the cross, but only Christians used the empty cross to represent their faith. They also used a fish symbol. Jews would not have used a cross on their tombs, so we know that these people were Christians.
so, you don't trust yourself? I am not a Mormon, & since you didn't even take time to read my blurb, you would not know that. There are Cross inscriptions on Christian tombs from the late first century. As a matter of fact, the cross was the symbol of the church even before the fish symbol was added. The Trinity is not a perfect doctrine, I will grant that, but one God as 3 separate entities or personages is correct from the New Testament perspective & the old. Baal worshipers never saw a cross
you're right. i should've checked your channel out first. i apologize. i also never called myself a prophet, so you have wronged me as well.
however, the fact that crosses were on their graves does not predate the original use of those symbols. i believe in trinity as well, but there is a pagan one.
it makes sense when you know that no percentage except 100% represents the group as a whole. i'm a christian who doesn't hold to the cross, fish or any other symbol. there are others like me. you made a huge, sweeping statement.
faith is displayed in truth and deed, not symbols or images.
No I didn't. One of the core beliefs held by Bible believing "Christians" is that Christ paid for our punishment, the old testament curses, and our healing on the cross, so therefore it's a very important thing!!
what happened to david koresh after his death. many thought he was god. but he died and now no one knows him. Jesus is still worshiped as God. He resurrected and convinced many. so much that it changed everything. i know for a fact people dont want jesus and will say whatever to try and disprove him. ah but you forget. the most impressive evidence is his ability to turn a crack head into a Godly man. a prostitute into a saint. Jesus Christ was not married.
how do you know the ossuary was for the resurrected Jesus then? i can't understand how you could say that, after complaining about people having same first names. that's a contradiction of your own logic.
"we know that verona, italy is a real place. we have evidence that years ago in verona there were two teenagers who fell in love. their love was forbidden, however, because their families didn't get along. therefore, 'romeo & juliet' is a true story."... you do understand that "based on a true story" is not the same thing as "a true story", right?
yes, but what all anti Jesus and anti God nay sayers are so famous for saying over and over again is that "there is no evidence that this Jesus guy ever even existed" Sorry, but they are wrong.
there were lots of guys named jesus in that part of the world at the time. atheists don't deny this. they just deny the DIVINITY of the biblical jesus. the simple fact that there was a guy named jesus and a guy named lazarus (etc) is not proof that the gospels are true. the bible says "ABC did XYZ"; archaeological evidence for "ABC" is not proof of "XYZ". understand?
All this evidence but no remains of one apostle. Very hard to consider this proof. The Old Testament archeological evidence comes with skeletal remains.

LaurieJo42 2 weeks ago
The cross is not Christian, it is a symbol of a death sentence by Babylon, Eqypt and Rome. The Messiah's name was never jesus. Don't be fooled by false religion. All religion is false.
LaurieJo42 2 weeks ago

@spaghetti I've read the bible and there isn't a single detailed description in there. So ill tell you again; the "evidence" nearly always fits. Especially as discriptions were made to fit known locations, vague as they were. If you can't see that then you are blind!

Funny,. people are claiming this has been debunked and calling names. but leave no evidence or proof to prove their claims? not even a link? so how do we know? personally I can't read the inscriptions so I don't know,. and I'll bet all the claimers of debunked can't either,.. lol
SPAGHETTIMONSTER1 3 months ago
In fact there is a large volume of cities today referenced in the Bible. However that should not be construed to mean that everything you read therein is true. Battlestar Galactica for example references Earth and we know it's real, but that does not lend any credibility to the story of Battlestar Galactica (which was written by a Mormon btw). As for the rest of the exaggerated claims in this video... well, others commented on those already.

If this is to be considered evidence of the first Christians, the Talpiot tomb is evidence of the Jesus family tomb. The remains of Jesus are in one of them.
Mistertinman 7 months ago
@Mistertinman It can't be the family tomb. The names are fairly common, but the big problem is that Jesus was in fact crucified. No remains were of a crucified man. We can ignore the claims of resurection. He would have likely had missing feet and or hands. This wasn't the case.

@manowar40 Unfortunately when evidence is discovered that contradicts the bible most Christians/believers ignore it ???? What has ever been dug up to contradict the bible ? I belive you are speaking on things you dont understand at all. There is nothing that has ever been dug up to contradict the bible . Before you post on any subject I think you should at least know what it is you are trying to defend.
mystic81006 8 months ago
@mystic81006 Really, I mean do you really believe that? Either you have been home schooled or you live in a box. Bar or Biblical Archeology in Review has a a great deal of information that contradicts the bible, The moon reflects light and the human body is not made from dust. IT"S 98% WATER. Believe it or not, There was a time period called the"stone age" that didn't refer to college students down in Florida partying. The deity during the stone age was FEMALE!! She was the first God or species
manowar40 8 months ago

I can provide hard archeological proof of everything I say. What proof do you have? Let me guess..the bible. run away..run away
manowar40 8 months ago
@mystic81006 The archeological and pre-historic recored indicates early humans worshiped a mother deity!! I know it's very hard but please just try and imagine a time when people used stone projectile points and hunted and gathered and did not live in nice homes and drive nice cars. Most people call it the Stone age, But you can just call it the rock age, And if it makes you feel any better, I am pagan and a man and I follow the old ways. So, Me and Lucifer are tight.

@manowar40 , but the evidence says they also carved 100ton blocks of granite and even harder rock with what? we use diamond saws to cut that stuff today. and still cant move 100ton blocks. SPAGHETTIMONSTER1 3 months ago
@SPAGHETTIMONSTER1 How have I been duped? I am aware of the technique and it doesn't require diamond blades just a piece of good string and abrasive material and animal fat. The Chinese used this technique in cutting jade, It took about six months to cut a slab of jade off a boulder. So what am I getting wrong?
manowar40 3 months ago
@manowar40 , how did they move a 100ton block? I'v done a little more research and found we can move the weight but it involves heavy equipment "the most powerful" and roads. I'v also seen hole cuts etc. the string idea could explain some of the cuts, and even some of the more precise ones. but there is still a lot that just seems impossible

@TheDarvus These were prophecies written long before He was born and there are plenty of other historical data that prove Jesus of Nazareth was real person who lived, was crucified, and whose body disappeared when the Bible states it happened. Credible historians don't dispute this.
sivonni 9 months ago
It's well known that Jesus and many Biblical figures were real people and are mentioned in a variety of other documents and archaeological evidence other than the Bible. The Bible is not a primary historical source and like most writings cannot be taken as entirely true. After thousands of years of oral tradition and mistranslations, it is hard to believe the Bible as we know it today is exactly the same as the original, and even if it were doesn't make it all fact.
aidanja23 9 months ago
By the way, this isn't about proving any religion. It's about the accuracy of the Bible.
sivonni 10 months ago
Atheism is a religion and it's members cling the tightest to their beliefs with no evidence, only a series of "accepted theories". I'm not a religious person but, since no one has ever accurately disproven anything in the Bible (including the Flood because there is science that contradicts carbon dating), then logically, the Bible must be true. No other historical text can claim that this is so. Not even our school books.
sivonni 10 months ago
@sivonni your such a dumbass, ahteism itself means "no god" ergo no religion, besides atheists can only become that after letting bullshit go.
and the bible cant claim to be 100% accurate, even when some stuff gets proven to be right, considering it was copied and translated so often there are bound to be errors in the first place.
gamiezion 9 months ago
@gamiezion When the Hebrew scribes copied their sacred texts they literally wrote it one word at a time, stopping to use a different pen whenever they needed to write the name of God. It HAD to be exact. No mistakes were accepted. It took YEARS to copy. Translations are where people have issues, which is why, if you're serious about studying the Bible, you need to study Ancient Greek and Hebrew (not the same as the modern languages) and how they were translated into your language.
sivonni 9 months ago
@sivonni even with such laborious work, mistakes sneak in, no matter how much its being checked. at any rate, people havent been as precise after the bible was actually put together (4th century AD). i dont see how reading the bible in greek/hebrew would anything to my perception of the bullshit thats in the bible. most things in there are physically impossible, like the flood, walking opn water and splitting an ocean. im sure theres a normal (i.e. no supernatural) explenation for each
gamiezion 9 months ago
@gamiezion So you've never heard about a "miracle" on the news? A mother lifting a car off her child? There's a tv show called, "I Should Have Died". Physics say it can't happen, but it does. ALL THE TIME. There's a place in California called "the Mystery Spot" where the laws of physics don't work. Just because we don't understand it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. And if the Bible is proven accurate on what is natural and historical, why wouldn't I believe the supernatural too?
sivonni 9 months ago
@sivonni actually, people have been known to have acess to alot more power when experiencing such episodes, so theres nothing miraculous about her lifting a car. and there always is a medical reason included in the show you mention, havent you noticed?
all the examples (including the bible) can be interpreted in so many ways you cant really say anything is true, without turning a blind eye to evidence for another event/concept.
in the reall world that oftenly means the concept is flawed/fake
gamiezion 9 months ago
@gamiezion You're generalizing. Give me a specific example and I'm happy to debate. I'll start. Dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible (in Job chapter 40). So are dragons. Your thoughts?
sivonni 9 months ago
@sivonni i dont have to give you anything, the plain and simple truth is that the ENTIRE bible is so vague it can be applied to just about anything. how else would you explain the various denomenations and according bibles within the christian faith?
if you cant argue with that, you might as well admit that im right, youve pretty much done so allready.
gamiezion 9 months ago
@gamiezion the ENTIRE bible is so vague it can be applied to just about anything???????? Ok, It has full names, times, and names of places, is the full names what you call vague? Im confused on what you just posted here is all becouse when I get a book with full discriptions of true events with true city names with true proven men who have been proven to have lived then I know for a fact there is nothing at all vague about any of it.
mystic81006 8 months ago
@mystic81006 its vague because noone really knows where said places are, its vague because there are hardly any (if at all) records of said names and the times... oh place, they are anything BUT accurate.
and you keep saying the bible is true, but its not. you can repeat yourself over and over againg, you wont be any more right though.
so far you havent mentioned anything that in the reall world has been verified by... well, anything.
gamiezion 8 months ago
@gamiezion Its funny that you say its vague because noone really knows where said places are is stupid at that, do you know what video you are posting this on? With all tyhe proof ofg all the places? WOW,GOOD BY,I DONT TALK TO STUPID.
mystic81006 8 months ago
@mystic81006 you dont talk stupid? for as far as i can tell your pretty good at it, ive seen the vid and ive seen nothing creditable whatsover. considering your first sentence makes no sense whatsoever!
gamiezion 8 months ago
@gamiezion Most of the places mentioned in the Bible are known and have documented locations. Many have been recent discoveries (within the last few decades) as more and more archaeological digs are permitted in the Middle East. You don't want to believe. That's a choice. I question my beliefs and follow up with research. If you'd done the same you know how ridiculous you sound when you say "the ENTIRE Bible" was vague. It's so specific that people nitpick over how accurately they measured Pi!
sivonni 8 months ago
@sivonni just because *a city* has been found in an area similar to *a city* in the bible, doesn't mean the events said to ahve taken place in that place, far from it. actually texts would verify said events. and sadly, the texts that somewhat verify the events are contested at best.
if you think you have done research and can still say the bible is accurate in any way then you are dead wrong. just looking at the (literally) thousands of different interpretations to the bible, that (cont)
gamiezion 8 months ago
@gamiezion alone is a dead give away on the inaccuracies!! then there are the descriptions *he or she lived in that and that place, which had such a wall and some donkeys too!* nowhere does it say how far it is from any known place, or what distinguishes the wall from any other wall of the era. if you cant see those vagueries you are truly and unrevocably retarded
gamiezion 8 months ago
@gamiezion You mean the modernized translations? I agree that's a problem because that's someone translating a translation and it doesn't always work. If you want something easy to read, go for the "Message" version, but don't be surprised by contradictions. If you want to research, I'd recommend the "amplified" versions where the creators went back to the original texts and you'll find a lot of the so-called discrepancies work themselves out with correct translations. (cont)
sivonni 7 months ago
@gamiezion Despite the lack of such specifics and GPS coordinates in the Bible, archeologists are finding the ruins of cities and tombs of people by studying ancient texts including the Bible and digging at their best guess. It's not "vagueries" but lack of research on your part.
sivonni 7 months ago
@sivonni actually its the guesswork on the part of the " archelogists" and "scholars" who do this " research" where the vagueness comes from. the stuff they find is oftenly enopugh so extraordinarily general that they can be attached to just about any city/place/building/person/wgatever else from the era. im saying this after long having studied the things claimed to be found in the middle east.
gamiezion 7 months ago
@gamiezion Do you want the Bible to say "Moses led the people this many miles to the Red Sea, parted the waters at these coordinates..."? People didn't measure distance the way we do today. They measured in time, "Going to the temple, be back in a couple weeks!" How accurate do you need an ancient text to be? The measurement of the cubit changed with each king (from his elbow to the tip of his finger). That's what I meant by doing research about the customs and manners of the people. (cont.)
sivonni 7 months ago
@gamiezion , it's so vague the found the burnt mountain the alter of the golden calf and the broken rock. don't figure? The crossing has been marked (also found.) And there are remains of chariot's under water. there really is a lot of factual stuff from the bible.. ON VIDEO FOR THE WORLD TO SEE, if they want to. lol, there's even a ton of evidence for the GIANTS of old. :0) . There is only 1 building on earth that has stood for over 6000 yrs. and point's to the year AD10,500!
SPAGHETTIMONSTER1 3 months ago
@SPAGHETTIMONSTER1 the alter was little more then a rock formation, so anything can qualify, the burning doesnt really say anything as any fire could have created it and the chariots... who really knows what they were doing there, were they even from the same time as moses (is it even known what time moses actually lived in??).

GoodyBob 11 months ago
We have archeological evidence that supports Suetonius' writings but this in no way validates, justifies or gets us any closer to confirming his truth claims that there were prophetic utterances, signs and supernatural portents concerning outcomes of battles, claims of supernatural backing by the various caesars, and so on. How do you get from archeological evidence that places, events and perhaps even people existed to 'Jesus is God?' Seems someone is bridging the gap with a heap of credulity.
vryc 1 year ago
@vryc There are over 300 prophecies regarding the "Son of God" in the Old Testament (which have been proven to have been written long before lived) which Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled. The odds of any one man fulfilling 8 of these prophecies were determined by mathmeticians to be 1 in 10 to the 17th power. That's just 8 prophecies. Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled over 300. If that's not paranormal or "outside or other than normal", then I don't know what is.
sivonni 10 months ago
@sivonni There are two immediate problems with using the Bible as a measure of veracity:
1) If these prophecies were in fact meted-out by Jesus as a function and fulfillment of his god-hood then having only a single source is problematic because that source could easily be wrong. Without objective confirmation these 'fulfilled prophecies' are described WELL AFTER THE FACT which is no steady means for verification.
2) The Bible is not an infallible document. History is skewed all over the place

He also speaks of the current peace process, When they shall say Peace and Safety, Sudden Destruction will come upon them
luettem 1 year ago
@luettem "The God you dont think is there speaks of NOW"
So then, why are none of God's non-fullfilled prophecies (Matthew 24:34, Mark 13:30 and Luke 21:32 to name but a few) not relevent when trying to make a codified estimation as to when Christ/God will return? Cherry-picking does no good; either everything is absolute and true in the Bible or i'ts all just interperative dissonence, in which case it's useless to both sell and disseminate factual truth and fabrication.
vryc 1 year ago
@vryc They are relevant, in fact current. God told the exact date of Israels return, and said THIS generation thats see Isreal become a nation again is the Last One before all is fulfilled.....being blind does not become one. watch God has already Measured Time, you tube-There is NO cherry picking, God has fortold all that is happening now,
luettem 1 year ago
@luettem "THIS generation..."
B) If 2040-ish passes and nothing happens, can you promise to do away with your now-proven-wrong belief system?
vryc 1 year ago
@vryc no actually the Rapture of the body of Christ is any day, Tribulation should begin this year, Israels 7 years are about here. Okay, let's say I give you 20-years here (and according to you this would be on the obese-side of generosity). Why can't he fight his own fights, and take responsibility for his mistakes? God seems to be a politician.

OMFG... there are few in the world that dispute that the various people and locations in the bible are real. it is the other bullshit claims made that are in dispute. noahs ark, turning water into wine, walking on water, curing the blind and the resurrection... all bullshit and CAN NOT in any way be proven. not only can these ignorant myths not be proven, but they go against all common sense no matter how you look at it. EXAMPLE... why don't god and jesus love amputees? because their not real!
governmentcheese411 1 year ago
@governmentcheese411 "they go against all common sense no matter how you look at it."
Those events certainly are claims that are extraordinary, no doubt about that. But from the outset, scripture asks us to give intellectual assent to the most extraordinary claim in all of scripture. Namely, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
Once you've gone that far, what makes us think that the same Creator lacks the ability to manipulate His creation as He wills?
HeReformedMe 1 year ago
@HeReformedMe lol... there is NOTHING! to support a single word of the complete nonsense so many hold true in god. in fact, there is more evidence in bigfoot than in god. it takes a feeble mind to conceive there ever was a beginning or will ever be an end. there is NOTHING that even slightly suggests these events to be true.
governmentcheese411 1 year ago
@governmentcheese411 "it takes a feeble mind to conceive there ever was a beginning"
Funny, Einstein believed that the univers began to exist. What a feeble mind he was, huh?
Furthermore, your original point seemed to be that we have no proof of the miracles recorded, because we can't prove they happened. Science can only test the laws of nature. The very essense of a miracle, is that, they are not repeatable, testable events. If we could perform them, they would not be miracles.
HeReformedMe 1 year ago

Hardly the kind of evidence I need to switch my brain off and say "God dunnit"
warren52nz 1 year ago
@warren52nz Heard of Flavius Josephus? He was a contemporary of Jesus and an important Roman historian. Evolution doesn't proven anything since it's flawed and based on "theories" without actual evidence. An educated guess is still a guess. And there are many theories about mistranslations of the original Hebrew texts regarding Adam and Eve which would "disprove" your evolution theories. No one knows for sure. I've been studying the Bible my entire life and learn something new every day.
sivonni 9 months ago
@sivonni Yes I've heard of Josephus. I've read the disputes about him being a contemporary too. But I don't care if Jesus was real or not, I'm certain he was just a guy. A nice guy but nothing supernatural.
If you think Evolution has no "actual evidence" then you either haven't looked at the evidence or you're brainwashed by Clergy. Evolution is as certain as the fact that the Sun is the center of our Solar System.
As Billy Connolly says, "Never trust someone with only one booook." LOL
warren52nz 9 months ago
@warren52nz There is zero evidence for evolution, all there is are observations of science which are interpreted by idiots for a theory called evolution.
When you use the same evidences that evolution claims and use the bible as a point of reference, they all make sense in a completely useful way that glorifies our creator instead of useless random mutation (which does not create new creatures from existing creatures or make an existing creature from a lifeless piece of matter).
Try me, proof?

warren52nz 9 months ago
@TruthSeekingOne Have you ever played Yahtzee? You can roll 5 of a kind in only a few rolls by keeping the ones that are the same and rolling the others. The selection process makes it non-random. Now take life, add 4 BILLION years of Natural Selection and there's nothing surprising about what we see around us.
Why don't you pick something less obvious to not believe in... such as the Earth's shape?
Your name is horribly ironic. Truth is the LAST thing you're seeking!
warren52nz 9 months ago
@warren52nz Natural Selection SELECTS, it does not create new information.
So your argument fails already in that alone. I'll give you 5 billion years and natural selection alone, and you will have nothing but what you started with, if there isn't new information added, a creature does not change and become better or more complex.
Evolution Theory suggests we all evolved from a rock that was rained on and produced life from nothing.
TruthSeekingOne 9 months ago
@TruthSeekingOne Well that was a pretty epic fail. The things you said are ALL 100% wrong.
Evolution says NOTHING about the origin of life, Evolution DOES produce new information through a process called frame shift. That's how Nylonase evolved. Do some fucken research buddy!!!
warren52nz 9 months ago
@warren52nz How about you do research, there are several categories of Evolution if you are a true atheistic evolutionist believer.
Cosmic Evolution
Chemical Evolution
Stellar Evolution
Organic Evolution
Macro Evolution
Micro Evolution
Only the last one on the list is true and able to be proven by real science. This is just the changes and variances within species but does not create new information or make the species more complex.
TruthSeekingOne 9 months ago

@loridrop transliteration is not uncommon and nothing about it suggests that it is displeasing to God. Even the word God is not supposed to be used to describe the almighty, yet most English speaking people use it. The word God is derived from an ancient Nordic deity called Goada. Just because English speakers pronounce "Yeshua's" name as Jesus, does not in any way belittle their love for Him, and it does not invalidate their faith.

caddy1010 1 year ago
@caddy1010 Archaeology has already found evidence that David and his son existed, beginning in 1993. Egyptians have had prove of Moses's existence for even longer. As for Abraham...he was the father of the Jews and the Islamic people. There's plenty of historical proof of his existence. Do a little research before making broad statements like that. A Google search will give you hundreds of articles about recent archaeological finds.
sivonni 9 months ago
Archaeology will never prove the salvation story. It can prove the existence and location of towns, wells etc. not not the essence of salvation.
lizazoon 1 year ago

SuperSharko 2 years ago
Mark is the first Gospel written we have a editted verson if some scholars are right
and the Q document is real then it is possible Lazarus plays a much different version in the Bible then John " the latest of the Gospels" would have us believe!
Morton smith may have found a peice of this lost Gospel but then the Catholic church will not let scholars date it. Because it says some rather odd things.
About there relationship

We do not have writings from Jesus direct fallowers we know Paul was a Christian about 20 years after Jesus death we also know there were lots of different kinds of Christians Beliefs ALREADY from his writings! at that time the forum you fallow today comes out of the Roman Church I doubt the early Christians visions and life of Jesus are much different then the 4 Gospels make them sound because neither Paul nore Mark say ANYTHING about hisMiracles after death.

Mahoivlich 2 years ago
Yeah, you say that but you would no doubt celebrate when they seem to find some old bones of a guy named Jesus, thus "proving" that Jesus was not resurrected... The names alone are not what is so amazing, it is that they were found together, in the right areas and with the cross symbol, which only Christians would have used.
godluvsmormons 2 years ago
the cross was used long before the xtians started using it. the swastika too.
Mahoivlich 2 years ago
No. That symbol was not a cross, but was a pagan symbol that had nothing to do with the Roman torture device we know as a cross. It had a loop on the top, and if I am not mistaken, was used by the Egyptians. We are not "X-tians" we are the seed of Abraham
godluvsmormons 2 years ago
The cross was used before in astrology to represent the sun at the center of the 12 houses. That is why on some churches you will still see a cross with a circle around the intersection point.
Mahoivlich 2 years ago
The cross was used by Christians in the first century to represent the work of Jesus Christ for all the world. There may have been a symbol or some symbols that bore a resemblance to the cross, but only Christians used the empty cross to represent their faith. They also used a fish symbol. Jews would not have used a cross on their tombs, so we know that these people were Christians.
godluvsmormons 2 years ago
you need to get off the joseph smith kool-aid first, before you start teaching Jesus. i wouldn't trust anything written by a false prophet.
the cross isn't christian either. it's the symbol of baal worship, and of the pagan trinity.
want2rock247 2 years ago
so, you don't trust yourself? I am not a Mormon, & since you didn't even take time to read my blurb, you would not know that. There are Cross inscriptions on Christian tombs from the late first century. As a matter of fact, the cross was the symbol of the church even before the fish symbol was added. The Trinity is not a perfect doctrine, I will grant that, but one God as 3 separate entities or personages is correct from the New Testament perspective & the old. Baal worshipers never saw a cross
godluvsmormons 2 years ago
you're right. i should've checked your channel out first. i apologize. i also never called myself a prophet, so you have wronged me as well.
however, the fact that crosses were on their graves does not predate the original use of those symbols. i believe in trinity as well, but there is a pagan one.
