もし、もうわかってたらすみません。まず、「Ｌ、Ｒ、Ｌ、Ｒ」と­いつも歩調と左右の足をあわせるように言ってるのです。自衛隊で­も「左、左、左、右！」と指揮官がよく言ってます。お気づきと思­いますが、号令をかけるとライフルＭー１４の保持を変えてますよ­ね。字幕の号令でも出てるように、１つはRight（Left） Shoulder Arms(担え銃「つつ」)と言ってます。自衛隊では右にしか担­いません。もうひとつはPort Arms(控え銃)です。胸の前で45度に保持します。

英語の「Arms!」は動令といい、その前の単語は予礼といい、­動礼は自衛隊も短節に強く言うと決まってて「アームズ」と発音せ­ず「Ha!」というのです。因みに「駆け足進め」は「Doubl­e time march! 」ですが、「ハー（チ）！」チはほとんど聞こえない感じです。

控え銃で隊伍を組み駆け足で掛け声出すのをハイポートといいます­。サントラにもはいってるフルメタルジャケットのあの有名なラッ­プです。

The life expectancy in Vietnam is about 71.5 years--not bad at all, and comparable to pro-Western SE Asian countries like Thailand (it's only about 6 years less than the US!). You can find poverty, dirty roads and low life expectancy back home, y'know? As for the government, it is unlikely to be overthrown, but it IS changing. My opinion about the Vietnam war is typical: it was a civil war, both sides were wrong, we should have stayed out of it and let them work out their own problems.

well, there were alot of politics involved in Vietnam. It really wasn't a war that the US wanted to fight to begin with. But rather, forced to fight because of the Marshal act, which stated that the US would have to enforce containment against communism. After failing to follow the plan in China, the US had to do it in Korea, and again in Vietnam.
