  • 6 pullups? that seems a little easy for whats supposed to be the best of the best. This just seems like the navy seal fun run or something. When i clicked on the video i thought it was going to be a bunch of people failing hard just to show what the navy seals were capable of.

  • This is the SEAL PFT score STANDARDS. To everyone shitting on the minimum standards thats great. But i hope you do understand people train to get twice those numbers and still drop out of training. This is only a Physical Fitness Test. Not 6 months of BUD/S Training.

  • This is not the seals test, my fuckin mom can fly thru this, a british person would piss them selves if the tried this

  • navy seals: 50 sit ups in 2 mins

Standard British Army FEMALE: 50 sit ups in 2 mins

navy seals: 1.5 miles in 11 mins

Standard British Army radio operator (non-combat): 1.5 miles in 10:30 mins

    .....nuff said

  • I FEEL OFFENDED!!!!!!

  • I took this with actual special warfare coordinators in portland, I got 10 minutes for the swim, 75 for the push ups, 93 for the sit ups, 8 for the pullups, and 9:43 for the 1.5 mile run in boots and pants. I thought I did pretty well, still can improve!

  • Listen thats the requirements for the PT test yes. but if you pass that you must go into a year and a half training program. good luck

  • this is a joke, I expected more for a Navy SEAL Fitness challenge. I can do all of that with out even trying, anyone with any real fitness can.

  • im gonna do this challenge in about a month. i will own all since i swim and workout everyday

  • why do so many people love to talk shit on youtube comment threads...?

  • the minimum that they are doing

  • so this is to get into the buds training? or some sort of pre-buds?

  • This is definitely not NAVY SEAL level.

  • @steven0007 It's the minimum to get into the training program, look at the website and they show the minimum, average, and the optimum amount of pull ups, sit ups, push ups, etc.

  • 50 sit ups in 2 minutes omg.... we have to do 50 sit ups in school in one minute to get presidential and thats easy

  • @skaterboy0206 do aftert everything else they did.

  • LOLOLOL....I don't mean to be cocky but come on ... 42 push ups in 2 full minutes? 6 pull ups? 50 sit ups? 1.5 miles in 11 mins? This is something that should be a challenge to 10 year olds....not adults and teens >_>

  • @MeStewieGriffin Those scores are Probationary (aka the bare minimum for ALL NAVY, not just seals). A competetive seal score is 110 + push ups, 120-130 sit ups and a sub 8:30 1.5 mile. This video is misleading heh.

  • 6 pull ups thats it and these people look like there going to crap there pants and there only doing 6 terrible pull ups

  • wtf is this on the real navy seals test you gotta do like 50 pullups and 150+ pushups and situps

  • @Roclog you don't need that many, in fact that's almost impossible, but these tests are real low.

The idea is that anyone who can exceed the limits on every event on the Fitness Challenge has a chance, and any young male who does so might be asked if he wants to sign up for the Navy (they now run a straight-to-BUDs programme).

The limits are very low but, if you can achieve them, then you've proven you're the sort of person who can improve them a lot more and meet SEAL levels if you try.

  • @Richtigify FALSE. This is the real SEAL PST. As a prospective SEAL after I finish up my college career, I've seen recruiters, talked to former SEALs (my mother lives in Coronado), etc. The SEAL PST is 500m swim in 12.5 mins, 42 push in 2 mins, 50 sit in 2 mins, 6 pull ups, and 1.5 miles in 11 mins. The catch is that these are only the bare MINIMUMS. You will never make it to BUD/S with those numbers. AVERAGE BUD/S Candidate swims under 10 mins, 100 push, 100 sit, 15 pull, and under 930 run.

  • @Roclog read my reply to Richtigify

  • oh hey, yeah this is really easy but the competitive scores to be looked at are not.

What you are looking at from the mouth of a SEAL is "If you want to be one of the 40 selected nationwide every month to get a seat at BUD/S, you should have a PST score breakdown in this range: 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 25 pull-ups, sub-9 run, sub- 9 swim."

  • Wtf is this crap....50 sit-ups? 6 pull-ups? 42 push-ups? That's fucking it! What a load of shit. Any average soldier can far exceed these bullshit standards. This is just to advertise and sell the "Navy Seal" franchise. The real Seals fitness test would kill half the people at the event.

  • @TomGuan69 its just the pre test to even get looked at man trust me if thats all it took then there would be more than a few thousand seals serving a country of over 300 million

  • @TomGuan69 100% correct

  • @TomGuan69 Ya the real ones are like more than doubled these requirements haha

  • @TomGuan69 bro, these tests are the PST standards for the Navy SEALs. its the entry test, of course its gonna easy

  • @TomGuan69 Nope. The Navy SEAL requirement is just that. I dont think you realize just what kind of a ball buster that test is okay? That stuff is not separated. It is back to back to back. The SEALs that make it through can do around 100 push ups 100 good 4-count flutter kicks run 4 miles in 30 minutes or less and do around 15-20 pull ups. The people who get the bare minimum have a "6% chance of making it through" Are those the standards? Yes. Should you settle for the bare minimum? No.

  • @TomGuan69 those are minimal standards. its qualifying but it doesnt mean you go to BUDS. The ones who do go to BUDS are the ones who are able to do 80-90 push ups 100 sit ups 15-20 pull ups. those are the optimal times, but those other numbers are just minimal

  • @TomGuan69 yea i know, i looked at this, and said the same thing. This could pass for a middle school PE fitness test.

  • I've tried exercises like these and I got totally wiped out, and I regularly do martial arts combos, sometimes over 1000 in a single workout.

  • doing this tomorrow morning......kinda scared now

  • 50 sit ups in two minutes.. i did 63 in a minute and im 15.. my record was 72.

  • The mayor sounds like Dr. Steve Brule...

  • I can't be the only one who finds it funny when people say this is easy. try doing it when you're clothes are soaking wet, wet sand is rubbing the skin off your hands, feet and backs of your knees, you've had only a few hours sleep, it's all done in BDU fatigues and boots... and repeat twice a day for 6 months.

  • i could do allthat but that swimming and runninng :/ but i do wanna try that

  • this isnt wat it takes to be a navy seal right? cause this was easy as shit. except the swimming part.

  • I wanna be a Soldier.. I don't want to be a Seal. I don't want the enemy to record my dead body and taking my gears and kick, jump on, shoot, spit, cut, hang my dead body as a victory for them....

  • i got a 219 on the test

  • Of course this shit is easy, these are the basic requirements to be able to start BUDS. the competitive times/reps are 20 pullups, 80 pushups, 100 situps, 9 mins on the 1.5 mile run, and 8 or 9 mins on the swim, and only 6% of the people who can do the competitive times make it through BUDS...

  • @LethalBleed The pullups aren't quite that high (maybe for officers). A buddy of mine is in 2nd phase now and his PST was 14 pullups. Pushups and situps were both in the 90's

  • @ffryan haha thats good, I can do 25 right now and I have 4 years of college before I plan on going to BUDS

  • @LethalBleed That's good. How many can you do when sand has caused the insides of your palm to be raw and caluses are peeling off your hands?

  • @ffryan probably like 23-24

  • @h0lystrike ok I will and I'll send it to you 2 exept forgive swimming I fought I cud do that but I'll give it ago if u want me 2

  • soft JTF2 40min of none stop push ups and 40 chin ups in 2 min and 5 miles in 10 min that's just to qualify for training.

  • @Freepepsi42 5 miles in 10 minutes is faster than any human has ever run, even for 1 mile. The WR for 1 mile is 3:43, meaning it would take about 19 minutes to run 5 miles at a WR pace.

  • @Freepepsi42 This is not the required physical score required for JTF2.

  • @ffryan it's all that then it's 1.5 miles in 9 min (superior time) 40 chin ups non stop no time limit, i put the link up.

  • @Freepepsi42 JTF2 pullup requirement is a minimum of 5. Where in the world are you getting this 40 figure from?

  • @ffryan Over hand, straight arm pull-ups.

  • @ffryan Joint Team Fortress 2! :B

  • pararescue and combat controls past test is harder but, just because you can pass the entry pt test means absolutely nothing.

  • I'm 13 years old and I can do all of that xD ik those are minimum times and stuff I think the hardest for me wud be swimming I cud pass everything else I cud prob double everything else

  • @nathanmusictv make a vid for proof or bs

  • Try fitness challenges at konkura.com

  • when i use to train with my recruiter for the Marines he would have us to 100 sit ups in 2 min i'd expect more from seals :P

  • i was here

  • lol 6 pull ups?? Navy SEALS??

  • @TacticalOrgasm It's the very minimum to even be considered for BUD/S training. While the minimum scored for the SEAL PST Test might not look all that bad, keep in mind that they're going to make you do this test at BUD/S after they've beat the living hell out of you all day, while you're wet, sandy, and on the verge of hypothermia.

So in order to pass BUD/S, your PST scores need to be exceptionally good. After all, the toughest military training on earth...

  • @DanSVT03 True that it's hard, but I don't think it is the toughest military training on the earth.

  • @fire2nor Yep, it is, due to the fact that SEALs operate in the ocean, which is the environment most guys will never be comfortable in.

  • @fire2nor It's considered the toughest military training in the world because SEALs operate in the ocean. It's the most unforgiving environment you can be in, and most guys are not comfortable in the water. To be a SEAL, you have to be comfortable in the ocean, as well as the air and land.

  • @DanSVT03 na its a very hard one but there are other ones that are probably a bit harder such as UK or Australian marines fitness test or ect. and obviously special forces such as the SAS or israeli special forces ect.

  • @TacticalOrgasm

Yeah these are the minimum requirements, do further research to see what you really need to do. * At least 6 pull-ups from a dead hang (no time limit) with a competitive count of 11 or more[6][7] [ Wiki ]

And I'm sure most candidates training for BUD/S are capable of more that 11 Pull Ups.

  • @insideSFPD yeah most aim for 15-20

  • These requirements are so easy! Except maybe the swimming, I don't swim regularly so I have no idea what my time would be like. For NROTC Marine Options we have to do 100 situps in two minutes, 20 pull ups and run 3 miles in 18 minutes to get the max score in each.

  • @Tippet76 keep in mind less than 6 percent that are doing the minimal requirements make it through buds. even with the "max" score which all SF don't go by they still have a 15%-25% chance of failing buds! that's basic for them! not qualification training, not advanced training, not platoon, and other training and they can still loose their trident for grades being low in tests.there are attrition rates beyond buds which is bad as it is! not often but it happens. so NO not easy in anyway.

  • this cant be real? 6 pull ups and 42 push ups in 2 minutes???

i did 25 pull ups and 50 push ups in 30 seconds when i was 13 or 14.

real navy seals must do like at least 30 pull ups and 200 push ups in 2 minutes lol

  • @jukkanotukka yeah....no. no one is getting 200 push ups in 2 min, SEALs included. not enough time. and also, when you were 13 or 14 you probably weren't doing the right form. was your arm making a right angle every time? i used to think i could do 62 push ups, until i realized it was shit form and wasn't doing me any good, and now im only at 56. and were you going down all the way until your arms locked for the pull ups? just saying, this is a little thing NSW is doing with civs, not like real.

  • @marleynrs8 pull ups all the way down and push ups were correctly done too. i had my teacher counting them, both pull ups and push ups

  • @jukkanotukka well then, you were a 13 yr old beast. im serious.

  • @marleynrs8 thanks :) some of my friends did better with the push ups if i can remember right

  • @jukkanotukka thats crazy man. i could do the 50 push ups back then, but no way the pull ups. i envied all the skinny little kids that could do them all day haha.

  • @marleynrs8 haha i was pretty skinny too :) now im about 100kg = 220 lbs

  • @jukkanotukka haha yep, thats pretty big.

  • @jukkanotukka That is the Navy Qualifications. If somone gets the minimum they will not be accepted as a SEAL Candidate. Competitive numbers are 20-25 pull ups, 100 sit ups, 100, push ups, 6min or less on the run, and 9 min or less on the swim. You also have to remember the swim is combat side stroke NOT FREE STYLE, and when in SEALs it is a run in boots on wet sand.

  • @jukkanotukka LOL! STFU, you can't do 25 pull ups and 50 pushups in 30 seconds you idiot. The pushups alone would take longer than 30 seconds.

  • @xXJEashXx i ment i did 50 push ups in 30 seconds and 25 pull ups with no time limit

  • @xXJEashXx Your right but I can do a 50th push up on the 30th second =P

You need to do it very quickly, but the pull ups would take about a minute =/

Good video but all that stuff seems easy except for the 1.5 mile run, I'm not that good at jogging quick but I could go quite far.

  • Comment removed

  • @xXJEashXx i mean i can matter of fact that a good challange ima upload that

  • @jukkanotukka nope, That's standard SEAL requirements. Believe it or not, a lot of people can't do.

  • does this challenge ever come to the uk?

  • This is bare minimum standards idiot.

Fact: reaching only the bare minimum puts you at a 3% success rate for BUD/s

  • they did the order wrong, and @ihaterobbie123 its one thing after another, swim 500 yards 12:30, rest 10mins 42 push-ups within 2 mins, rest 2 mins, 50 sit-ups within 2 mins, rest 2 mins, do 6 pull-ups, no time limit, rest 10mins, then run a mile an a half in 11 mins, and thats only 1 step to even beable to qualify to become a seal

  • no offense but why do woman get to to the SEAL challenge? i know its not the real BUD/s Indoc or anything but again what is the point?

  • @0587dave so everyone can have fun why you have problem with that?

  • What the fuck is this? It's nothing. I'm not in the US armed forces but my understanding is that normal ground troops should be able to do that. Heck, it's not enough to get into the royal marines.

  • @ihaterobbie123 its not training its a physical screening to qualify for the training just to see if u can survive in training.

  • dam ppl are week

we as in me and my SF team is better

    reppin air force school

  • I'd love to do this test. My max pullups are 27, situps in 2 minutes is 70, pushups 85....still aways from the goal of 100 situps and 100 pushups...but not too bad at all. I'd choose sidestroke for the swim, since its closer to freestyle (front crawl) and the run...well running is running. lol.

  • wooow they actually consider this hard?

  • @AsgardProductionsSE and what do you consider hard, why don't you try to become a seal

  • @thekingdomreturn

    yeah why not *rolls eyes*

we do this stuff as regular P.E in sweden.

  • This is very mild, my wrestling practices are around twice as much. I think this is just a fun event for everybody.

  • @hunterhalo2 why don't you try it then?

  • @thekingdomreturn If I ever get the opportunity I will jump all over it!!

  • 42 pushups in 2 minutes? sounds like fun!! id love to do this. =]

  • @quikieemart do it at your house then and post it on youtube.

  • lol okay sure. i'll do 75 full pushups in 1 minute and post it on youtube tomorrow.

  • i guess they didnt wana lower morale by telling the civis that SEALs do 3 times as much and they'll NEVER see a SEAL only doing the minimum

  • i honestly think anyone who does any sport for atleast an hour every day can do this. These are just requirments. im not being a jerk to the navy SEAL, i bet a Seal can double on half those things, they're BEAST

  • Comment removed

  • there's not many seals out there because most people have other aspirations. thats why people go to college, to pursue a career in the future. and if this doesn't work, some, not all, end up in the military, army, seals, etc.

  • @quikieemart There's not that many seals out there because most people do not have the combined mental-physical toughness that one needs to operate under pressure, under fire, and in secret (when discovery could be an absolute political embarrassment for your country). Some civilians are very fit but very dumb. Others are very smart but not fit. SEAL officers have to achieve a university degree too. SEALS are not a place for those failures who can't achieve a career. No, it is their calling.

  • @ipts5i i see. i'm sorry if i have offended any SEALS =[ .

  • haha. this a funny one

  • that is nothing like what the seals go through what they go through is twice as intense

  • sweat studio stop it right now!!! either you are lying or your client is lying....either way you have no idea what you are talking about.

  • Nice . I'm training someone for the Seals right now.

  • no your not.
