U never get the full effect of how big snakes are until they r next to a person.. when they r filmed crawling around on the ground they don't look that big.
The king cobra is the biggest venomous snake in the world and it has earned its name 'Snake eater' because its preferred diet consists on eating other snakes, rat snakes are one of them.
There are PYTHONS smaller than this. If he struck like a pit viper, a person couldn't get within 10 feet. I saw one this size when I was 14 - when he raised up, he was face to face. Amazing. Check out viperkeeper on YouTube.
"hes only the most dangerous snake in the world if he bit me hed inject heaps of toxins with tht big head, no drama's ill just stretch him out and take some photos"
snake lovers forgive me .. but - I hate these creatures - I wish they never existed - or if they did .. I'd like to have leather goods made from their skins .. thats it
I never go in the woods - and neither do I bite people and inject venom in their bodies - its they who come within human proximity and faggots like you try to portray god-ness and show how much u like them - if you love them so much - go and live in the jungle with them -
@proych78 i dont love them also..but damn it's their instinct, nature made them. it's their way to survive, to kill in order to eat and to survive.. then look at you.,you're being so selfish wishing that they dont exist.. wish you luck.
WTF is wrong - I dont need permission to 'wish' something - neither do I feel intimidated by someone coming up close and personal about my 'I hate snakes' thing - I am just a human being - who is scared to death just by thinking about them - and they appear time and again somewhere near us -
I have always love " The King Cobra". They are extraordinary and beautiful creature. And of course poison! This guy, Austin stevens knows how to handle it but could i do that. I don't think so but respecting it would be good idea!
The toxicity of the king isn't among the top based on LD50.Yet,its venom composition has rapid effect on humans+the venom dose can be huge and it has a high attack position. Thus,it is a highly dangerous species which can cause rapid death and be highly aggressive if provocation is continued. Moreover, recent study shows that Chinese KC venom is more toxic than most other Naja species found in the same range.Of course, just like other snakes,it seeks to avoid confrontation with humans.
@Joshxoxo38 incorrect, the most venomous LAND snake is the inlan taipan, the most venomour SNAKE is belcher's sea snake(it lives in water) "The Inland Taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus), also known as the Small Scaled Snake and Fierce Snake, is native to Australia and is regarded as the most venomous land snake in the world based on LD50 values in mice.["
