I am in this situation. Knee and right groin injuries prevent me from cardio with legs. Instead, at the suggestion of the trainer, I use all the upper body Cybex equipment at Planet Fitness with very little resistance and weight, sometimes only 10 lbs, and rep until I'm exhausted. I'm 75 and I can get my heart rate up to 105. It's almost impossible for me to get my heart rate higher no matter how strenuous the exercise. Does anyone else have this problem?

is this guy stupid? qualified to even speak? the reason why running and bicycling burn more fat is cause legs are the biggest muscles in your body and the bigger muscles burn more fat not upper body. and you need over 30 minutes of cardio to see any change. try doing that with your upper body for that long.
These look like a interesting alternative to normal cardio.
Though if you actually do have a leg injury, these may not be the best idea as you are putting a lot weight on the legs. For example, I injured my Achilles tendon not too long ago and getting in the "push-up position" would put waaay too much stress on the tendon.
This is stupid and not to mention dangerous, you're better off just running or doing any kind of machine like a bike or eliptical. Also, there is no such thing as an "upper body cardio" it's just cardio, you aren't losing fat from your upper body you are losing fat from all OVER your body seeing as there is no such thing as "spot fat removal".

It's amazing to see the transformations people make.

Of course you have to have your eating on track and be doing more than just 2 minutes of workouts every few days to really get anywhere. This is just an example of how you can get exercise in even if you're very short on time.

You can't lose body fat from only one particular area. Fat loss occurs across your entire body all at once.
So any fat loss exercise is always aimed at helping you lose body fat from all over.
