  • Data says his fist sentence And I have to laugh xD

  • "May I get you a drink, dear? ... Excellent choice!" I just nearly got an orgasm THAT IS SO EXTREMELY SEXY *__________*

  • "I believe I am the most fortunate sentient in this sector of the galaxy."

    *squeeeeeee!*

  • Wow, she used him. Come to think of it, Data really gets shafted through the series. Dead Tasha, dead Lal, dead Father, crazy and dead brother, fake mother walking around. He gets dumped, has a backdoor security flaw, gets stolen, gets shot and stabbed more then once, and to top it all off, he has served in Starfleet since before the uniforms changed, over 30 years ago and STILL hasn't made captain.

  • Data wants to fuck her up the pooper.

  • @liberalguy513 yikes. a little too intimate there.

  • i'd set his hands to vibrate

  • "honey! i'm home!"

    LOL!!!

  • what the hell was she expecting she has the same luck w/ data as i would have dating my cell phone

  • Jenna really didn't think it through before entering the relationship. I mean, she *knew* that Data has no emotions, but still she uses that as the reason why she wants to break up with him. If I were her I would try to teach him how to be more "human" instead of just ending the relationship as soon as they met problems.

  • Oh man, the ending for this episode is ALMOST as sad as the ending for "The Offspring."

  • Seriously, I don't know why more women on the Enterprise didn't try to hook up with Data. He knows all the "techniques", he'll do whatever you want and won't blab about it, and he can't produce offspring. The women on that ship did NOT know what they were missing. ;)

  • @JanieJane96 Voltaire agrees with you- ever heard of the "Sexy Data Tango"?

  • This is the risk involved when one allows themselves to have a relationship with a walking computer. LOL

  • Good Grief! This woman is going to complain about the way that Data's behaving.

He's trying and doing his best, and it's still not good enough for her. What more does she want?!

She is sitting within inches of the most beautiful and gorgeous man on the planet, and all she does is complain! I would have grabbed him, and started kissing him so hard. Then we would start making mad passionate love to each other.

Just to kiss this man would give me an instant orgasm!!

    Well, that's my 2 cents!

  • I luv how the cold hearted bitch is the one nagging him about not having enuff emotions.

Maybe she needs to look in the mirror and realize kindness and no emotions are better than a bitchy and needy one.

  • You don't tell me what to do, you're not my mother!"

  • he is just so adorable...i would totally go out with him! its so sad how she left him.... but at least Spot still loves him :')

  • AIR? WHERE IS THE AIR?

  • Whatever, Data doesn't need to date some ho who dresses like a therapist for the Golden Girls.

  • "Darling. You remain as aesthetically pleasing as the day we met. I believe I am the most Fortunate Sentient in this Sector of the Galaxy" Smooth one Data... I bet you picked that one up from Riker.

  • Data includes the ''Emotion Engine'', same chip as ps2

  • *Walks to the other side of the room* PERHAPS THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOU! >:O

  • Nope, he just wrote a "loving boyfriend" program for the episode...er whatever. He deletes it at the end. He was going to get a chip from his creator, Dr. Noonien Soong, but Lore showed up and stole it. When Data finally got his hands on the emotion chip, he didn't install it because he thought it was too dangerous. Then he installed it in Generations, but it caused problems. He pretty much freaked out. The chip fused to his neural net, so it couldn't be removed, but he learned to deal with it.

  • I haven't seen Star Trek other than random YouTube clips, and Data is already my favorite -- but can someone tell me -- did Data get his emotion chip between parts I and II of this??

  • @journeymanwriter no he just made a program that allows him to interact with her as if he did have the emotions but there is no real emotion in there. Later he will get the emotion chip but it came with a few problems since he had to go through Lore to get it from their creator and he put it in generations which then fued into his netual net which was the casue of its glicthes per say.

  • 3:35 Perhaps theres something wrong with you!!!

  • "Are we no longer (whispers) *a couple*?" was so funny and sad how sincere he was...also Spot coming in at the end was soo funny, like "OH YEA IM BACK BITCHES"

  • I do about as well with women IRL, and I don't have the excuse of being an emotionless android :(

  • What a fucking stud

  • I agree, Data's singing voice is lovely! <3

  • Brent Spiner has SUCH an excellent grasp on comic timing! hahahaha <3 him!

  • she must have been burnt bad by the last guy to resort to this

  • I found Data's girlfriend highly annoying.

  • I love Data and Jenna soo doesn't deserve him!

    Your not my mother! lol

  • wish he would have sang longer

  • I wish I could "delete the appropriate program" from some trifling bitches I've had the misfortune of hooking up with in my life....

  • This just goes to show that women are just never satisfied...............

  • WHAT THE FUCK

  • 4:57

    WRONG ANSWER

  • Poor data :(

  • @kokrakoko:

Gives "First Contact" (the movie) a whole new meaning, doesn't it? --Ack.

  • This is so awesome! I wonder how many times they had to rehearse this?

  • 8:28 Data kicks them to the curb and keeps it classy

    DELETED!

  • Feel so sad for him... ç___ç

  • Spot doesn't care if Data has no emotions as long as he keeps the feline supplement coming.

  • but that's bullshit, and all those who gave you plus points are idiots.

cats need love just as humans do. in real life, Spot would flee Data and turn to someone more affectionate, like Beverly Crusher, or Riker, or even the Captain.

  • @MrVorwaerts Yes, but this isn't real life. So deal with it. And who are you to say who's an idiot and who's not one?

  • @CrazyKitty789

because I do have cats and I love them and they love me! I am a cat lover and therefore I know the show is unrealistic in its portrayal of Spot.

  • @MrVorwaerts But that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that Star Trek is a fictional TV show, and that none of this is supposed to be completely realistic. I mean, the cat changes breeds and genders later on, for crying out loud.

  • @CrazyKitty789

hmm I get your point, suspension of disbelief.

  • Omg Data is too epic! I wish I had a friend like him. =)

  • Very very interesting clip. One of my favorite episodes.

  • "Perhaps there is something wrong with you!" LOL too funny!!

  • OMG BEST LINE EVER

"you remain just as aesthetically pleasing as the day we met. I believe I am the most lucky sentient in this sector of the galaxy."

  • who wouldn't want a love android?

  • He can color-coordinate my closet anytime. ;)

  • OMG! I always loved Data. he is so CUTE!

  • This is a strange mixture of creepy and hilarious. And yet I envy her so much!!! Data would be such a great boyfriend!

  • yes he would!!! hahaha!!

  • And she is a lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky Woman for having kissed Brent Spiner!

  • I WANT MY OWN DATA SO BADLY!

  • He is so creepy when he's trying to be romantic. Creepy to the max.

  • Still nowhere near as creepy when Lore or Q does it. XD

  • I just LOVE IT when Data sings! He has such a beautiful voice. *sighs* :)

  • lol hes soo creepy in his sort of "casinova" act hes got goin on lol

  • "May I... get you a drink, dear?"

  • Oh my goodness it's sooo weird to see him like this I mean...I like him like this. I have no idea what i'm trying to say. Anywho nice video.

  • Man, this girl is dumb.

You know for a fact that Data would never say anything malicious, only factual. He would always tell the truth. He would try his hardest to understand how you are feeling (so he can learn to be more human.) If he acted in a strange way, you could easily tell him he is acting inappropriately. He would never take anything "the wrong way", and you could always be straightforward and blunt with him. Fights could be completely avoided.

Sounds like a keeper to me. >>

  • Yes, but you are using reasoning, and D'Sora is a woman.

  • HA!

But on the contrary, so am I.

  • brent spiner is incredible, he is soooo subtle as data

  • Playa Playa LOLOLOLOLOL

  • It sounds like they are married...;)

  • If hes good enough for spot hes good enough for luitenant whats-her-name - shes a fool!

  • I cried the first time I saw the ending, it was done excellently. Spot jumping onto his lap and then him blowing out the candle was just.. amazing writing.

  • i had a hard time to catch my breath, when he sang.. :D Omg ..

  • What's sticking out of his back on 2:31?

  • I´d do Data, with or without emotion chip *giggle*

  • no one can not be in love with this adorable android

  • Oh god.... I were so lucky if I was playing that role of her!

He is so damn sexy that I could fall in love with him. Brent for ever

  • indeed

  • OMG!

  • I was really sad inside while watching this. Data would be a wonderful boyfriend if he could just get over that emotion hump. =( And I'm not talking about him being a neat freak or catering to every whim...he's really...I dunno...warm.

  • "My posotronic net generates a substantial amount of heat, perhaps you would like me to increase coolant flow rate to 45%."

  • When does he say that?

  • *pause* "Honey! I'm home!"

dear God, I can't stop giggling XD

  • "Are we no longer a couple?"

    " No, we're not."

" Then I will delete the appropriate program." That was a lesson on how to respond to someone who is dumping you. Or how to dump the dumper, then get on with your life. And when she said, "I'll see ya later", I would of said "Not if I see you first, you confusing woman." I wish I had that delete line years ago, I would have bounced back from a certain break up quicker. LOL

  • "Honey! I'm home!" lmao!.........She's so messy, and Data is a neat freak android XXDD!..............."There's something so forced and artificial, about the way your'e doing it Data" .......DUH!!! he's an artificial life form! *rolls eyes*........I'm glad the relationship was over....she didn't deserve him! buahahahaha!!!.............It was rather heartbreaking at the end though, when Spot jumped on him, and cuddled .....but at least Spot loves him unconditionally *sniff*

  • he was trying to copy commander Riker's "lovemaking techniques"

  • Yikes!

  • LOLOLOLOL Yeah

  • Stop making icky comments. Spot is fluffy.

  • I'd date data it would be fine....it would be perfect because he would never be able to forget about me. :)

  • I would have totally dated Data!!! =D

She was stupid to go into a relationship knowing Data doesn't have heart-felt emotions, just rational ones. Lets see- date a man incapable of being irrational and disloyal. He likes cleaning, cats and pleasing. His emotions exist as rational understandings. Ummm... I'll take him. =D

  • and he's fully functional ladies!

  • ROFLMAO!!!

  • I <3 Data XD

  • That MF is one great AI! Brent Spiner should have won a oscar. This show is entirely underrated.

Star Trek TNG was capable of exploring the boundary of great scientific questions AND the interpersonal psychodynamic.

  • hell yeah. even my mom said he played that part good when i use to watch this.

  • i like spot.

  • He reminds me of Charles Dance in Phantom of the Opera 0.o

  • my god, this is SO akward.... :P

  • damn that kinda bites, Data's date didn't go well and he didn't get any action

  • He still got some pussy at the end there

  • he did with tasha yar.

  • LOL and she thinks 'normal' men are thinking about her feelings when they kiss her? Welcome to the real world lady ROFL

  • i caught him saying a contraction at 3:46 "...you're not my mother!"

  • *gasp* He never contracts! Error! :o

  • its a common phrase, he's pretending to be human, get over it.

  • It's common knowledge that when speaking on his own, he is unable to use contractions. We all know that when he's quoting, he'll be able to use one.

  • Why on earth did she break up with him? If I could find a man who would clean my apartment while I sat on the couch and drank, I'd tie him to a fencepost if I had to in order to keep him around! XD

  • Hell, with Data we would only need men for breeding. xD

  • ....how could she give up Data?

  • ''"She should be lucky he didn't utilize any of the domestic violence programs."

LMAO! '' thats funny good one

  • This ep made me cry so bad when I saw it the first time.

  • makes me cringe! ... but laugh at the same time.

  • "I will delete the appropriate program." YEAH! Spoken like a true pimp. That's my dawg!! What woman in her right mind would break up with that?! I heart Data. He's my baby daddy lol. Seriously though, Brent Spiner is brilliant.

  • Spiner does such a great job. Honestly, how he keeps a straight face when I'm too busy giggling.

And Data has a cat. Who can't love that :D

  • Someone post the whole episiod!

  • wow,the ending is is deep. "I will delete the appropriate program"

  • And then when she leaves Spot comes over to comfort Data!!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Why can't they have Lore sences like that!!!!!

  • Data = the BEST Star Trek character amongst all the series. Come on! If you don't like Data...well...

  • I come close....I like Lore the best.

  • Data is hot

  • I don't know what's supposed to be going on here so.. WTF.

  • Data tries to programme "romance" and "love" as part of his functions, thinking this is all he needs in order to date a girl who took an interest in him. Of course, it doesn't quite work. :)

  • Instead, it makes him look like Lore in hlaf the shots with him smiling like that.....

  • Lmao 'your not my mother' XD

    You gotta love Data (:

  • "You don't tell me what to do, you're not my mother!" Priceless xD

    I absolutely love Data :p

  • Yeah, but that makes him seem even more like Lore......(XD!!! I Love LORE!!! XDXDXDXD)

  • Wow...I wish I had a Data of my very own!

  • i think its better if Data just flies solo:/

  • mom would seriously love that, "Whhatever you wish, dear"

  • Thank you so much for upload!I remember this part when i saw it in TV few years ago...:) :D Very funny, intelligent movie

  • Um... PHEW! Ug, gulp, choke, can someone...sweat...explain this? Data got MARRIED?

  • Spot the cat loved him unconditionally. No bullshit with issues.

  • Spot's like, "What's wrong?"

  • So... Data can use contractions when he's quoting something from a program, but no other time?

    "You're not my mother!"

  • ...And as a total geek moment Data was capable of emulating emotions, as well as identifying the scenario in which to display these emotions. He emulated anger when the situation didn't work in his favor. So if he's capable of creating a basic emotion program, then what makes the emotion chip so important? The only differance I can see is that the chip creates uncontrolled emotions rather than simply acting them out. Even so, he could have been using false emotions through the entire series.

  • akutenshiiZero, fellow geek here! ;-)

feeling the emotions is waaaay different from displaying them, or better portraying them. Portraying emotions you don't feel only leads to disastrous performances, such as the ones of a dreadful actor.

  • Fabio Mode - ACTIVATE!

  • This can be so easily turned into a cheesy sitcom with a well-placed laugh track or two and a stupid title.

  • Тhis is probably the best episode explaining why humans and andriods shouldn't have a romantic relationship.

  • wow data is weird, he should not have entered into a relationship

  • lol this is so awkward t almost makes me feel embarresed for him haha

  • .35-.48-Data in FLIRT MODE!!!

  • Someone has issues with mummy.

  • This is probably how fake I'd look if I tried to flirt with a girl.

YES, you you insult me. Horrah.

  • Awkward. very very awkward. That sort of treatmen would have made me RUN! Very far, and very fast!

  • lol And he moves kind of stiff, too, but hey, he's Data. ;)

  • Why can't they just be 'friends with benefits'? He's obviously too creepy to be a real lover, haha.

  • wacthing this made me feel awkward. At least at some moments.

  • is doesn't have to be that way. you can change yourself. you just have to have the courage.

  • Most of that was so cute and funny but the ending was so tragic.

  • At least spot loves him.

  • lol at the "Honey I'm Home." Like a bad 1950's sitcom :D

  • It's interesting to note, too, that while his reactions to Jenna were largely 'forced', due to his essentially gaging his reactions off of hers akin to a program or algorithm, his reaction to Spot immediately after Jenna leaves feels much more genuine and heartfelt, if one can apply such a term to Data.

  • Probably because caring for a pet is alot simpler than for a human, especially in a romantic relationship.

  • No kidding.

  • This is amazing.

  • You have to feel sorry for his girlfriend. She breaks up with him and gets a cold "Then I will delete the appropriate programs." Note: Never date non-humans.

  • SHE WAS AN UNGRATEFULL BITCH!

  • Hell yeah!

  • this is so creeepy.

  • The ending just breaks your heart. If only Data could feel...

  • she seems confused as how to react with a being that lacks any sings of non-confidence.

  • oh come on, she wants him due to his abilty to maintain an erection indefinitley

  • He is very adorable <3.

  • I agree! :D

  • Aww... Data's so adorable!

  • Oh no no no no no if I were Data's girl I would have dealt with that SO differently. Androids "care" in their own sort of way...not in a human way. And I could be accepting of that. Not to mention, I believe that true A.I. has infinite potential...both humanly and outside the human realm, and that would also be appealing to me, something I would respect and be in awe of, even if I didn't understand it.

  • Indeed. Very well put. Anyway, it's not like he didn't warn her about it in the beginning and he did all he could to make it an 'romantic' experience. She should be lucky he didn't utilize any of the domestic violence programs. XD

  • LOL
