  • WHOOT WHOOT CANADIANS!!!!

  • FUCK AMERICA! Canada rules. Im a person from Bronx, New York.

  • @MegaMecha5 good for you

  • I AM CANADIAN!!

  • 3 ppl r american

  • Awwww... Feels great! Love you USA but Canada is a better place from my point of view ya' know.... U probably think usa is better.... Well fuck that peace!

  • *sniff* *wipes nose* beutiful

  • I just noticed this but the "Molson CANADIAN" logo is the colours of the American flag :p

  • First of all, it's HOWDY not "how de." Howdy, as any Englishman knows, is short for "How do you do?" Wrecken is NOT a word. However, reckon is a word, as in"I reckon you're not from around here." Even Brits use that word. It's not "yall," it

s YA'LL, as in "You all." And "ain't" is actually in the dictionary. DAMN, Canadian ignorance about everything American makes me laugh so hard.

  • @jbhafford

    Ignorance goes both ways bud

  • @jbhafford Canadian ignorance of america? Try american ignorance of the world..

  • @Gramsdaman72

I LIVE in Canada, on Vancouver Island. I knew all about Canada when I was growing up in TEXAS. I could name all your provinces and I knew who your PM was...IN TEXAS! As far as ignorance of the world goes, Canadians top Americans in that one. I am yet to meet one Canadian who knows more about world history or American history more than any Texan on the street. Southerners in general make learning history their life long endeavor.

  • Respond to this video...

Also, most Canadians that I run into know almost NOTHING of Canadian history. That's a sad fact jack. However, when I lived in Texas I knew about Montcolm and Wolfe. Show me a Canadian who tell me about William McKinley or the great French admiral Comte de Tourville, please.

  • OK now do one for Mexico

  • I wish I could show this to every person ignorant about Canada.

  • never gets old eh XD

  • The best part of North America? Mexicans are apart of North America to ya know.

  • I didn't know we called couchs settees...

  • Umm...Do you really speak French? I mean you might have had mandatory French instruction but I doubt your very good at it, and speaking of diversity, just ask French Canadians if they think you are open to that concept.

  • @herrrob14 He is speaking of Canada as a whole, not everyone speaks both french and English.

  • @herrrob14

Everyone is required to have some sort of minimum French instruction in their education. However, the basic French instruction most people receive (you have a choice if you want to do core or immersion - most do core which is basic French) is insufficient to be perfectly fluent. If you live in a primarily English-speaking part of Canada, you don't get the opportunity to use French that often and you often forget it over time. However, all Canadians know at least a little French.

  • @herrrob14 fu(l< you i speak french boom

  • You're Welcome Joe. :D

*note to self: Next time i go to America, I will perform every single stereotype with pride.*

  • holy shit i saw that commercial when i was a kid but not until now did i realize that that was a young jeff douglas off things that move.......at least i think lol

  • You poor bastards still have to drink the swill that passes for beer!

  • @jedijim3- shut up dude. your bear is cheap watered down light crap

  • in america we are lied to. our government in like a spoiled child given free roam ,it is becoming every man for himself, you just havent met the right americans smarter ones know race and nationality are both non-pionts but i say it is a hat not a took

  • My friend from Florida told me that when she told them she was moving to Canada they gasped and said "So you have to like, live in an igloo?!"

And some Americans have no idea what inukshuks are. How strange. They're all over the place in rural Ontario, Newfoundland, BC.

  • lol what kind of fool pronounces a-boot in About, stereotypes they destroy everything

  • AND WE HAVE THE BEST + STRONGEST BEER :D

  • and Potayta's in the winda's in Ohia.

visted ohio for a few months, honestly way nice people, but their english is as munged anyone elses.

  • i love this fucking commercial and no we dont say aboot that fucking horse shit, and im livin in toronto its a huge populated city and we are pretty Americanized sadly :(

  • yes indeed we are getting that way.

i am not a HUGE fan of this commercial, since Molson is American owned, and the actor seen here left for Hollywood right after doing this commercial. but regardless....

  • that kinda sucks, im an hour from toronto (hamilton) and were pretty canadian.

  • wonder why they are playing something from Elgar's pomp and circumstance, a very English composition haha...

  • I AM CANADIAN

    Eh!!!!!

  • I'm Canadian an I have a cousin who's american.....he says "how de" and "yall" and " Wrecken you ain't from around here" Even though we just sound like we're saying aboot.....he's saying ain't which isn't even a word...lol

  • nice come back lol....

  • lol...thanks

  • @13hellflips We spell it "Howdy". Is he from the south?

  • @13hellflips Your cousin is probably a retarded red neck...

  • lol that was great. Go Canada!

  • i agree eh

  • best commercial ever

  • That was in response to ajw7033pie, not the video. The video was awesome.

  • This is awesome!!!

Today my teacher was on the phone with a lady from the US and she's like "so you're from america?"

and he's like "no from Canada." she said "Ontario?" "No the Northwest Territories" "so it's in the west?" "NORTHWEST" "So it's west and in the north?" "yessss" ahahhaha he's like when you say Michigan we're no like Michigannn??? ahahhaha. it's awesome. HILARIOUS!

    I AM CANADIAN!

  • .."AND THAT THE BEAVER IS A TRULY PROUD AND NOBLE ANIMAL" that was the best part xD

  • ok so let me clear this up for everyone

most Canadians pronounce about as "ab-ow-t" just like everyone in USA, there are some Canadians who say it "aboot"...that's just the Newfies(people from Newfoundland[a province in Canada]) and some from a the other maritime provinces too.

The majority of Canadians say it the way you do!!!!!!

  • Not from what i found. I have MANY canadian friends and have lived in Canada for some time. I have found Canadians say about like "a boat"

Not "aboot" like the stereotype is. Canadians cant tell cause they there and dont realize it..just like people in NYC say car like "coor". Its all about accents. I am from northern NY and have accent very similar to Ontario. I never realized until i left where i lived thati said the word "goof" kinda weird with a drawn out "oooooooo". i dont complain :p

  • I think the canucks you meet are from the east coast... and the do pronounce car a "kaahhrr". On the west coast we don't however I catch myself saying "eh" the odd time. It all depends on where in canada... as accents change in the US. I find England the strangest for accent changes for such a small area.

  • Actually no..no canadians dont. As i stated before...i know Many Canadians....from B.C.,Ontario,Manitoba...and have lived in all those provinces.

They all say "about" as "a-boat"...NOT "a-bow-t" OR "aboot"

As i have taken language studies and found canadians just aren't aware of this accent they have.

  • We don't say "aboot", "a-bow-t" or "a-boat". We say "about". Sure Canadians have accents, but it's narrow minded to think we all have the same one. Speaking as an actual Canadian I can safely say that all those ways of saying it are represented across Canada, and as multicultural as Vancouver is, I'm sure there are even more ways here. Canada is a big country and I've travelled all over it, so don't base your findings off of your Jimmy, Sally, and Susie friends and tell us we're all the same.

  • I've lived in MANITOBA. All my life.

Everyone I know from here, including myself.

DO NOT PRONOUNCE IT " A-BOAT" Or " ABOOT "

Or any other ridiculous pronunciation you want to say.

    Me & Everyone I know pronounce it " ABOUT / ABOW-T "

  • Whatever

    *shrug*

Again...as i said 2 MONTHS AGO!...this was from MY experiences.

  • Your experiences?

    You said we're unaware.

"As i have taken language studies and found canadians just aren't aware of this accent they have. "

  • Yes my experiences.

AND as in the people unaware...the ones who DO say it like that. They are unaware they say it like that.

  • I've heard "aboot" sooo many times, and every time, the person saying it was from Canada.

They make fun of us "YANKS" and tell us we say "man" too much. They just need to own it like we do.

  • Most canadians who say aboot are from the far east coast. Newfoundland and such. But i agree...own it!

  • I've lived in the maratimes (east coast) all my life and never heard anyone say aboot

  • I've lived in Canada my whole life and I have never said a-boat, a-boot, nor have I EVER heard someone say it like that. I didn't even know it was a stereotype and I actually don't have a Canadian accent. I have a European (Polish) one =D

  • That's...odd. Because as i said before....there is TOTALLY a Canadian accent and most Canadians where i was said a-boat instead of about. Though id doesn't matter what anyone says to dispute this because that's what i know and heard =)

  • Okay well it depends where the people you're talking to are from. You can definitely tell those from Newfoundland and the Maritime provinces. My cousins are from Ontario, and they sound different from me (I'm from Alberta), and those from rural Alberta sound different from urban Alberta. Be mindful that there IS no AMERICAN accent, as the US is a large country (as is Canada) and there are variations in pronunciation of words. It'd be like saying you say ruf instead of roof, or y'all constantly.

  • Yeah go alberta =D

  • Ya i dont know where the aboot thing came from.. no one says it remotely close.. well that i have heard anyways!!

  • When I went to Vancouver and I heard a cashier say "aboot".

  • from ontario probably.... like a lot of people in vancouver.

  • Just because you here one person say it doesnt mean everyone says it thats the point hes making...

  • fuck yeah!

  • Chus de Québec stiiiii!

  • I AMMM CANAAAADIAAAAAAN!!!!! lol

  • hockey originated in netherlands

  • i am Canadian but i like zee better then zed

  • @ItalianoDude23

Only because it sounds better in the ABC's..

  • you silly canuks!! lol

  • it's jamie sale and davis peltier you dumb nut

  • Can't believe people (Americans) get so angry over the Molson Commercials. Mates, its just all in good fun. Before Molson, we had Americans doing the same thing. Still do today, stating how they are better then everybody in the world. They are the best country, etc. We are only doing the same ;). Hating on us for commercials like this is being a hypocrite to all the American Patriotism that you give off the same way we do in Commercials like this.

  • We American's don't get angry over Molson commercials. (btw I have both citizenships and have lived in both countries )

Of course it's all in good fun. But also theres a lot of Canadians who really love depicting Americans as the "bad guy". A lot of em fail to realize the diversity

  • YAH!! go canada <3

  • man i miss the good Molson Commercials... i miss joe. alas*

  • All True and I call it zee But I think you should call it Zed I LOVE THIS VIDEO

  • Terrific Video Awesome Video MAGNIFICENT video and all True I think everybody Should watch this video If u hate it get your Eyes checked all of it I agree And I would vote for him all the time. I am A Proud Canadian too in Windsor Ontario

  • Every last word is true, best part of north america forever

  • There's only three parts though so there isn't much competition xDD

  • no, theres actually many countries in North America: Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Greenland (Kalaallit Nunaat), Grenada, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines,Trinidad and Tobago, United States of America

  • o.o holy crap you're right

    My geography faillssss xDD

  • thats kinda right but not at the same time...Canada USA and Mexico are generally recognized as the north american nations whereas the others are more central america and are grouped into north or south america depending on who you talk to

  • many of those are central america... not north america.

  • personally, I like Labatts better. But the point of being a Canadian, awesome :D
