DmC Looks okay to me, I'm gonna give it a chance anyway no matter if they changed his looks, as long as his personality hasn't changed.

@gsumd - The hugh flaw with this is that in DMC1 after the defeat of Nelo Angelo, you see Vergil & Dante when they were younger (a short moment)--both of which had white hair; and again in DMC3, Dante has white hair.

DmC simply cannot be a part of the main series; for more than those reasons. His facial structure is different. His build is different. His voice is different.

I'd say it's more or less a reboot; but from what Ninja Theory *believes* Dante's origins to be.

Yeah. Funny thing, CAPCOM did a commercial showcasing the game and Reuben's company, Just Cause, pitched an idea similar to this to them for another one. The idea was tweaked and this was the end result... Reuben running round in Dante gear and seriously awesome dyed hair. Yes... it is dyed, not a wig.

If I understand it correctly, the guy in this commercial is the same one who did Dante's voice and motion capture acting for DMC3 and 4...which is pretty cool. :) I think it's great when they can get the voice actor to do the physical acting for the character, too, gives it a bit more meaning.

I haven't played DMC4 yet, but I saw a few videos of Dante fighting this dude called 'Nero'. I gotta say the motorcycle-esque throttle type handle Nero has on his sword is pretty fuckin' badass. The over-and-under barrel revolver with a blue rose painted on it? That's just damn secksy. He even has that awesome deamon-arm thingy. And yet after all that, Dante PWNS Nero upwards, downwards, and side-to-side everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Ebony, Ivory, Rebellion, and a shotgun. 'nuff said

actually it does, if he is white,which dante is in the video games, he would be a perfect person to play as dante in the 2010 movie. If he is asian, the movie would most likely be made in japan, and hardly make any use money.
