Great song! Shame that this group didn't have any real chart success after "Bend Me, Shape Me" (which made it to #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in February 1968).
Whatever happened to them after their initial chart success (before reforming as "Rufus")?
@ChihuahuaboyDH From what I've read, it was pretty much a revolving door for band members and name changes after '68. Al Ciner and Kevin Murphy stayed and they eventually became Rufus (with Chaka Khan) in the early 70's. I didn't know if it had made the charts outside of the midwest. I had to look through my old WLS surveys to find it, though I knew it was early '68. Thanks for looking this up!!
