Larry Fitzgerald ran a 4.63 40 yard dash, and last I checked he's doing pretty good in the pro's. Jerry Rice (NFL"s greatest receiver) also ran over 4.6. ENOUGH SAID...Pettis has size, speed, smarts, and uncanny agility. What a steal in the 3rd round. THis guy can become as good as he wants to become. No, I am not saying he is Rice or Fitzgerald. I am saying that the 40 yard dash is very overrated when looking at WRs.

Austin Pettis will be a great help for the Rams! Speed is not everything... You need to first be able to catch the ball and run good routes. He has his whole life ahead of him to get faster, but we'll see this season what he can do. I think he's a beast who will help increase our TD ratio tremendously! All I am hoping for is another Issac Bruce and Torry Holt! Go Rams!
