I don't get why it's so hard to believe this. People believe Jesus walked on water and that Moses parted the red sea. They didn't even see footage of it... they read it, and they would lay down their lives because of it. At least we see some footage and we know that chi is an electrical force in the body. First, you rub your hands vigorously together for one minute (obviously the friction is going to make it hot). 2. Now without touching them, experiment by moving your palms together anywhere from 1 to 6 inches apart. Where do you feel the strongest energy? You may feel a hot, cold, tingling or magnetic sensation.
The reason your hands start feeling hot is simply because your hands give off body heat especially when you hold the adjacent from eachother
The reason your hands get tingly is a natural response your body uses to see if you are sleeping you get this if you lie in bed immobile and awake too long

But I do not see how you think that is related to rubbing your hands together. Also, the tingling slightly increases when you move your hands closer together and decreases when you hold them apart. Surely you feel that too? If you try shutting your eyes it may take away some of the distraction.
The tingling is exactly what I said it is. when you move your hands closer you begin to fixate your mind on your hands causing the feeling to amplify.

According to the formula, if you focus your thought on your hands, chi literally flows to that spot. What I think a lot of people don't realize is how real thought / imagination really is. If fixating the mind on the hands causes the tingling feeling to amplify like you say, then that is exactly what chi is.

Keep staring, and after some time (10-20 seconds) you will start seeing little white-ish globules zipping across the sky & disappearing pretty fast. Continue staring, but shift your eyes over to the outline of some trees, and you may see a green haze, kind of like an aura around the tree. Eventually you will notice the trees are absorbing the globules. That is life force, or chi.

They didn't even see footage of it... they read it, and they would lay down their lives because of it. At least we see some footage and we know that chi is an electrical force in the body. First, you rub your hands vigorously together for one minute (obviously the friction is going to make it hot). 2. Now without touching them, experiment by moving your palms together anywhere from 1 to 6 inches apart. Where do you feel the strongest energy? You may feel a hot, cold, tingling or magnetic sensation.

But I do not see how you think that is related to rubbing your hands together. Also, the tingling slightly increases when you move your hands closer together and decreases when you hold them apart. Surely you feel that too? If you try shutting your eyes it may take away some of the distraction.

According to the formula, if you focus your thought on your hands, chi literally flows to that spot. What I think a lot of people don't realize is how real thought / imagination really is. If fixating the mind on the hands causes the tingling feeling to amplify like you say, then that is exactly what chi is.

I do know, however, that energy can be genuinely felt when somebody places there hand against an experienced qi gong / tai chi practicer's solar plexus. I have seen people recieve shocks, and I know that is no trickery.

Keep staring, and after some time (10-20 seconds) you will start seeing little white-ish globules zipping across the sky & disappearing pretty fast. Continue staring, but shift your eyes over to the outline of some trees, and you may see a green haze, kind of like an aura around the tree. Eventually you will notice the trees are absorbing the globules. That is life force, or chi.

I have never done meditation, so I don't really know what you are talking about, but if meditation causes you to see spirits and ghosts, I would stay away. I think it is possible but it takes years of practice and a very good understand of the mind and body. I am 23 and as of today will start practicing and trying to see if I can't achieve such power.
