I decided to entice myself with a return to Prisoner the past couple of weeks. Rather than starting from Ep 001, I chose to watch the Kate-Sandy-Marie era. Enthralling storylines magnified by their hypnotizing acting. It's weird how they weren't around for long, Bea/Doreen/Lizzie/Judy were appearing most of the time (although with a bit of breaks), yet they were granted their own era by the fans. No other characters until Bea's departure are capable of that.

Does anyone else think @ 2:21 Colleen takes a huge risk walking behind Kate into the cell where she could attack or trap her?

I just wish they had included the scene where Dr. Kate advises Erica to team up and work with her. She shouts at Powel," SILENCE!" And then when another screw knocks on the door, before Erica can say or do a thing, she calls out," Come in!" HILARIOUS!

one of the very best characters Wentworth has ever introduced. The Sandy-Kate-Marie storyline was THE BEST storyline I ever watched on this show. I wonder if the actresses who played Bea, Doreen, and Judy felt threatened, due to the superior acting, critical acclaim, and popularity these women achieved during their short time. I only wish they had stuck around longer.

First time I have seen this in about 15 years and I forgot just how good Olivia Hamnett was as Kate. Possibly the best performance in the shows history.

Some of the best acting you're ever likely to see on the small screen. The Hamnett portrayal of the developing schizophrenic and dillusional Kate Peterson is phenomenal - a real legendary television performance. The storyline involving Peterson, Edwards and Winter is one of the highlights of the entire series.

Ive been watching the ate sandy era for the first time on Jens vids, but I couldnt resist jumping head and watching this! Great stuff, im inclined to agree with a agree with a lot of fans that this is one of Prisoners strongest eras.
