I agree with Mrs. GladIleft. There needs to be a balance. However, imagine what it would be like for a single parent. Sometimes there is no one to bounce off of and you have to prioritize. There are no options. You do without the extra money a lot in order to be there for your child. Just my observation of two parent families. There is no option. You do what is necessary.

There are times I wish I could just stay at home, have more time with my son, BUT I was never without a job at the age of 15 years, and I wouldn't know how to act if I wasn't working. My grandparents tell me that my generation the roles are either switch, both husband and wife are working,or it's just a single women or man raising his/ her children and working at the same time. My opinion I would have to work.
