  • The Companion Animal Protection Society would like to thank Enrico Colantoni and the people who made this video possible. Without these hardworking individuals, this PSA wouldn't have been possible. As the only national nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to protecting companion animals from cruelty in pet shops and puppy mills, we need help spreading the word on the horrors that take place in these commercial breeding facilities.

  • Thank you so much Mr. Colantoni, I agere with the person below, I hope this goes all around th world, I love horses and when I get one I wanna adopt one, but the next dog we get, I wanna adopt it!! The dog we have now, Jude, was a stray that my brother and sister-in-law found an dher apart. steps one day and we have had him ever since.

  • Excellent video stating the truth. Let's hope 2012 sees an end to these horrific breeding factories.

  • Once again many thanks for this video Rico! I can see the fire in your eyes when you're talking about these horrible puppy mills, let's hope your video will be going all around the world! I've shared it on my FB page and another Dutch social media page to all of my friends, hope everybody shares it!

  • This is a very bad business model. I was just talking to a breeder today and I asked her if she would ever sell her dogs to a pet store. She said "absolutely not." No reputable breeder sells to pet stores. Don't believe the pet store personnel.

  • everyone can watch this. its good for kids to see. send it to those who would never think to ask. Remember: USDA certified means PUPPY Mill. IT is LEGAL to do this to animals.

  • Excellent video. Everybody needs to see this video. so many people are unaware of what really goes on!

  • please dont ever buy a "purebred"dog from a breeder or store-these dogs suffer greatly and are left to die when they are no longer "useful" or too old to be "cute" puppies anymore-its a fact- dont be fooled- rescue and/or adopt are the only humane way to find a pet-

  • @sheldrake33 There is a HUGE difference between a REPUTABLE breeder and a commercial breeder who sells to pet stores. Please don't buy into the "ONLY ADOPTION" line. I strongly promote rescue/adoption, but I also believe in the value of careful selective breeding for specific type and temperament. I would NEVER buy from a pet store, but a well-bred purebred from a good breeder is another matter altogether.

  • The public needs to understand that puppy mills and backyard breeders kill shelter dogs on a daily basis. Puppy mills are some of the worst kind of greed on this planet.

  • Puppy mills are torture, plain and simple. It is the ugly truth behind the cute puppy in the stores---please adopt one of the many puppies and dogs literally dying in our shelters rather than support this torture. Thank you so much for this video---please share.

  • I clicked on 'like' because I like that this message is getting out there... I do NOT like that there are still puppy mills on this planet )o: Thank you to everyone involved in making this PSA video!

  • Thank you for this VIDEO !
