She sounds drunk, shame on you Meryl. Now, the simple fact that this man never won a competitive award is an utter disgrace. What a gentleman, what an actor, one of the few very, very greats. Those eyes, and what a voice, instantly recognisable even with your eyes closed, what an elegant and gracious speech. He puts all those inarticulate American monkeys to shame. He walks on stage to the music of Lawrence of Arabia....can't get any better than that.
