  • I hope no one actually tried sudo rm -rf /home/username.

Why does Linux Journal even take this as an example?

Why not use apt-get or something similar instead?

    Like it's on purpose.

  • cool! that's a cool tip indeed.

It's funny too, typing sudo !!

Like in, damn I forgot that!! x)

  • Awesome, an invaluable tip. :)

  • Cool tip. Thanks.

  • what if the last thing you typed was !!

    lol

  • wow... This is going to save so much time I waste typing some long command and then remembering I used a sbin command and having to retype it all with sudo.

    Thanks for the tip!

  • Great tip Shawn, like always

Can you type something after the "!!"? It'd be interesting (although less useful than typing something before)

  • great tipp! but BAD tags and keywords to search for! as you said.. its not a sudo thing.. its bash ! so there should be more matching keywords like that in your title AND tag list and info box so someone (like me) could find your video on a search. this is realy a problem with your vids. few months ago i was searching for one of your vids, i didnt remembered the title, but i knew the command or parts of. but i was not able to find it since you didnt mentioned them in your tags list. BAAD Taging.

  • Yeah, I use this all the time

  • great tip, awful video introduction.

  • sudo bang bang
