I agree I hate that Mazzagatti stopped that fight so early. And it was very interesting the UFC cut away after his loss and didn't air his interview. It was the second controversial stoppage that night by Mazzagatti. If he would of let it go just go 5 more seconds or so EVERYONE would of known "okay Karo's out" or naah he's still in the game. I guess Karo or ANY fighter will just have to watch themselves and make sure they don't get in a bad position when mazzagatti's the ref.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Karo will never retain a belt in the UFC. He's good, but not playoff material. I believe he might have a chance in the WEC.

A few of my friends that trained judo with Karo since childhood say he was a quick learner. So I think he'll learn from this loss and grow as a figher. I have the feeling he sometimes doesn't respect the capabilities of his opponents and so he needs to stop that and be a little more humble. I think Karo needs to improve his standup A LOT if he wants to take on the likes of GSP. And the fight was stopped just in time; his knees buckled and his arms were down as Alvez punched his head.

Karo got caught by the game plan developed by Rhadi and Thiago. Premature stoppage maybe but Karo had him on the ground in the 1st round and could not put thiago out.
