@chris64346 Funks Mill Rd. is a public road, however, 4 wheelers obviously wouldn't be allowed. It's obvious that teens are going there, however, if something happened to them he would be sued. It's just the way the law is. He should fence it in because it's not safe.
In 1998 I was in the process of purchasing the house and lived in it as is for 3 months while we removed the ruble from the main house. The sofa bed was what we used to sleep. We had huge bonfires to get rid of the debris. The building to the right of the house is an old bank barn. I am very dismayed to see all the graffiti since I was there. The deal to buy property fell through but I can assure you I spent 24 hrs a day there for three months and it was creepy at times but there was no ghost
This place isn't haunted (although it is creepy especially at night) its just an old farmhouse that collapsed from years neglect. If you go out there during the day or night the guy that lives on the other side of the street owns the property and WILL call the cops and you WILL get a fine for Defiant Tresspass.
Sorry to dispell this myth. But nothing about this story is true. The man that lived in this house died of old age and natural causes. His family did not die in a fire. There was a fire on the second floor as a result of him storing improperly dried hay which combusted and a later fire as a result of vandals in the rear of the house. This house is unsafe to explore.

When I play it back slow, I can see images. One looked like a baby's face on the bottom of the tomstone which is covered with straw and has a cherub. Then to the right it looks like a toddler standing in the cemetery. You're very good with picking this stuff up. I'm subbing!

This is sooo funny I was there when we removed the man in question whos name I will leave out...from the supposed mysterious fateful fire for which no one died in...the wife didnt even llive in this house and her"children " at the time of the fire were all in the 30's and 50 year old ranges ...this is sooo funny I had been in this house a lot over the years...nothing scary...The wife died years after the fire from health issues not to be openly discussed...with all due respects..ill post another

It looks like a little girl, however, given the size of it in proportion to the door/window (it appears too large to be a person), I'd have to say it's just a pattern made from the angle of the video being taken, shadowing from inside, and the foilage that's overgrown. I wasn't able to find other instances of a little girl appearing. Still pretty creepy. However, given the comment below, I might be wrong in my guess as to a cause.

At 1:15 I hear what sounds like a female whisper "leave" and when you are looking at the burnt bed I also hear the same female whisper "yeah" at 3:15 like she is agreeing with you.

I have no idea where the legend comes from,possibly from weird pa to sell books.The property was my grandfathers,and was in the family form the early 20's until his death in the 90's from natural causes.The last person to die in that house was my great grand father in the mid 20's,from natural causes.The oldest part of the house was built in 1727,the newest part was built in the 1860's..............Dave

I've never been chased from any place that I visited. Public roads are allowed to be travelled on and Funks Mill rd. is a public rd. So, is hexenkoph rd and what you know to be ghost mountain. These bring in the views on Youtube and I am a Partner so it definitely helps. I will be doing more and because I have respect I can get away with these short documentaries. Maybe, you should stop the people that are chasing people with a truck down Funks Mill rd. People do have children.

Yes in fact! once it was a little later in the day maybe like 6 and a truck was driving by and i did not see who was riding it but it was going pretty fast and it did not get out of the way it was flying and there were at last 4 other ppl near me and they all had to fly out of the way it went to fast to see a plate. it was scary i dont know who it was but the are creeps all over the place there i dont really like to go alone there

yeah the guy who lives across the street has a few screws loose hes taken shots at me an a few friends. also people if ya go there at night watch for a silver chevy truck that chases you i dunno if its the guy across the street or what but if you pull in and the house is on your right and you stop the truck comes outa the feild behind you and will chace you up to the first turn and then stops. i wentup there xmas even and this is the 4th time this has happened to me n a few people i know
OMG! That is scary! That's the only thing that I've ever been afraid of was real people and not ghosts. The story became big in the book, "Weird PA." So, I am sure many people visited there. I was scared to climb the steps that they would collapse. So, nothing happened. Did you feel anything negative up there? I wish you would have videotaped it, because sometimes weird things show up. sorry i'm so late on replying! they actually closed off the driveway now and are tearing the house down. it's so depressing. i did get a strange vibe while in there, we were in there at night and i heard stories about the ghost of the mother running the property with an axe to save her children. the steps were definitely sturdy while i was on them, actually two of us at a time went up there.

believe it or not i have some good footage on tape the one night i went there with my friend and i was leaving the house and i saw some guy standing by my car this was like at 1 maybe 2 am and i stopped moving and slowly went back in the house and i waited for about 10 min and went through the one hole to go around back. the guy was gone so my friend and i went to my car and took off but all of the sudden a truck with its high beams flew up on my ass

yes i have its not that far from that house like 15 min it can be kinda difficult find it the easiest way for me is to get off easton road to hexenkopf and follow that up the hill i went there the one time during the day and some lady started to yell at me its watched alot cause the way i go to the rock is through someones yard into the woods but there are many ways u can go up the one powerline too
lucky for me i knew the roads and i floored it but for some reason that truck was keeping up with me and i had a vr6 gti 6 speed i eventually made it out but what gets me is the truck vanished it was weird so the next day i went back there and i noticed around the one turn there is a patch of grass and if u stop and look at it you will see tire marks leading in to the woods there still there cause i went back there this past saturday
That house intrigues me. In this vid, the back window people have noticed a shadow which only lasts for a second and it isn't clear as to what it is. Well, when I was videotaping I had an eerie feeling when I looked into that back window and I said that I wouldn't be coming back out. So, there's something there. It is 2:25 a.m. in the morning and I will watch it now. I haven't seen it since I made it. Yes, it feels like something is watching you from the back window. What was weird those old wooden steps that led upstairs to that window were in quite perfect condition.
I watched it again. My cell phone was ringing in the car. When I was by the house there was no service. That is the truth. There is a shadow in the back window. I don't feel it was a board. The other video I have with my camcorder, it looks like a head in the upstairs window (the side of the house.)

Yes, my boyfriend probably won't go. He has had weird experiences in other places. One girl he went out with, actually had this dark entity walk through her body. She started clawing at the roof in his car with her back arched. He took her to the hospital and they said it was an anxiety attack. She continued to have these attacks.

All I can say is that all these people who converge on someone's property get a clue to the truth or get a real hobby something constructive...stop trespassing ...it's annoying a rumor that couldn't be further from the truth gets started then someones property gets trampled for some wacko who wants to benefit financially wants to pontificate with tons of non factual info...go to the fire company they will tell you ehen this happened and that no one died...no one..

The man was a life long friend and died years after the fire as well and is known to the whole community and neighbors to have lived many years after as well...so this is only exciting and creepy to those that are new to the area or just don't know the REAL story...I just drove by there last evening at around 1 am and I saw a bunch of people trespassing...I would love to pick the houses of these people and say they were contaminated or haunted or some other b.s just so I could invade their lives

This is sooo funny I was there when we removed the man in question whos name I will leave out...from the supposed mysterious fateful fire for which no one died in...the wife didnt even llive in this house and her"children " at the time of the fire were all in the 30's and 50 year old ranges ...this is sooo funny I had been in this house a lot over the years...nothing scary...The wife died years after the fire from health issues not to be openly discussed...with all due respects..ill post another

@mia0899cs At 4:24, the left window/doorway. It looks like a little girl, however, given the size of it in proportion to the door/window (it appears too large to be a person), I'd have to say it's just a pattern made from the angle of the video being taken, shadowing from inside, and the foilage that's overgrown. I wasn't able to find other instances of a little girl appearing. Still pretty creepy. However, given the comment below, I might be wrong in my guess as to a cause.

You're probably going to think I'm crazy because it seems like I am always hearing things in your videos. But, once again, I heard a couple of things in this video too. At 1:15 I hear what sounds like a female whisper "leave" and when you are looking at the burnt bed I also hear the same female whisper "yeah" at 3:15 like she is agreeing with you.

I have no idea where the legend comes from,possibly from weird pa to sell books.The property was my grandfathers,and was in the family form the early 20's until his death in the 90's from natural causes.The last person to die in that house was my great grand father in the mid 20's,from natural causes.The oldest part of the house was built in 1727,the newest part was built in the 1860's..............Dave

I've never been chased from any place that I visited. Public roads are allowed to be travelled on and Funks Mill rd. is a public rd. So, is hexenkoph rd and what you know to be ghost mountain. These bring in the views on Youtube and I am a Partner so it definitely helps. I will be doing more and because I have respect I can get away with these short documentaries. Maybe, you should stop the people that are chasing people with a truck down Funks Mill rd. People do have children.

I don't make these stories up. I didn't write these stories. You will have to take that up with the Author/Authors. I know a lot about Bucks County because I lived there over 30 yrs. I also know reiable people who have encountered weird things. I also know that there are plenty of Wiccans and Satanists in this area. They aren't going to make a video on Youtube.

Did you ever see a truck? Someone told me that this person comes out of the field in a truck and chases them and even down the road. I don't if this only happens at night, but htis is scary and it's real not a phantom one. I would like to ask someone personally because I don't know if this story is 100% true because I read it in, "Weird PA." Did you see the shadow in the back window? Someone pointed it out to me. Yes in fact! once it was a little later in the day maybe like 6 and a truck was driving by and i did not see who was riding it but it was going pretty fast and it did not get out of the way it was flying and there were at last 4 other ppl near me and they all had to fly out of the way it went to fast to see a plate. it was scary i dont know who it was but the are creeps all over the place there i dont really like to go alone there

OMG! That is scary! That's the only thing that I've ever been afraid of was real people and not ghosts. The story became big in the book, "Weird PA." So, I am sure many people visited there. Do you know if he owns the house? I always wondered why no one ever did anything with this house. It would be worth a lot of money and the property. I would report him. I was scared to climb the steps that they would collapse. So, nothing happened. Did you feel anything negative up there? I wish you would have videotaped it, because sometimes weird things show up. I do get this weird feeling in that area, like something is watching. I love old houses and I would buy one today if I could afford it. I don't know I should go back out there and climb the steps. sorry i'm so late on replying! they actually closed off the driveway now and are tearing the house down. it's so depressing. i did get a strange vibe while in there, we were in there at night and i heard stories about the ghost of the mother running the property with an axe to save her children. the steps were definitely sturdy while i was on them, actually two of us at a time went up there.

I watched it several times and it looks like a shadow of a face in that empty window. I didn't notice that before. I wish I could get this blown up. Someone did that with my spiritual reading and it is posted as a vid response and you can see a man from the 1500's. This place is very evil. I get that feeling. It's a female entity. It's scary for just the fact that it turns into a single lane road and I don't know what kind of creeps are out there. I really should bring my rottweiler along. You should have fun, but be careful. When people mention these places in these books, it attracts a lot of crazies.

believe it or not i have some good footage on tape the one night i went there with my friend and i was leaving the house and i saw some guy standing by my car this was like at 1 maybe 2 am and i stopped moving and slowly went back in the house and i waited for about 10 min and went through the one hole to go around back. the guy was gone so my friend and i went to my car and took off but all of the sudden a truck with its high beams flew up on my ass

I have a six speed, six cylinder Tiburon which I would have floored too. You just can't get off the road because the shoulder is so deep. Now, I know there has to be crazy people out there because of all the publicicity now. I think I will go to Hexenkopf today which is in Lehigh County. Have you heard of it?

yes i have its not that far from that house like 15 min it can be kinda difficult find it the easiest way for me is to get off easton road to hexenkopf and follow that up the hill i went there the one time during the day and some lady started to yell at me its watched alot cause the way i go to the rock is through someones yard into the woods but there are many ways u can go up the one powerline too

lucky for me i knew the roads and i floored it but for some reason that truck was keeping up with me and i had a vr6 gti 6 speed i eventually made it out but what gets me is the truck vanished it was weird so the next day i went back there and i noticed around the one turn there is a patch of grass and if u stop and look at it you will see tire marks leading in to the woods there still there cause i went back there this past saturday

That house intrigues me. In this vid, the back window people have noticed a shadow which only lasts for a second and it isn't clear as to what it is. Well, when I was videotaping I had an eerie feeling when I looked into that back window and I said that I wouldn't be coming back out. So, there's something there. Some people can pick up on those things. That part of the house, it feels like something is watching you. It is like when you are waiting at a red light and you look over and see someone staring at you.

That's the feeling I got when I went to the back of the house and zoomed in. It is really creepy. Whatever is there, I feel was there when the family moved in. They can build this house again. I believe this happened in the 90's. There's a lot of property. No one does anything with it.

I thought there would be. Have you been to any? Salem, MA is supposed to be cool and scary because of the hangings of the witchcraft trials. I would love to go there sometime.

I am okay with someone else but I went into this house by myself. My cell phone wouldn't work either in this area, it says no service. This would be a perfect place to film a movie. I should go back at night, but I need a guy.

Yes, my boyfriend probably won't go. He has had weird experiences in other places. One girl he went out with, actually had this dark entity walk through her body. She started clawing at the roof in his car with her back arched. He took her to the hospital and they said it was an anxiety attack. She continued to have these attacks.

Thank you! There's something negative in the back top window I think. The house is very old, but why didn't the wooden steps burn down? They were like in perfect shape. No one does anything with this property. Last time I was there I made a video.

I went down the single lane road about a year ago. Maybe, I will go with my rottweiler. It is really freaky out there. There is no where to turn around until you get past that house.
