Yes its for real. My Blue and Gold Macaw used to carry kittens to the top of his cage to play with them. He also feed our dogs food from this beak.

it's real the way you get them to get along is you get the cat and the dog and raise them together as for the rat you'll have to somehow trick the other two into not thinking of rats as food.yes it's difficult but as you can see it's possible
