This was first game I had with my N64, along with Pilotwings part of the pack. Awesome game took me ages to clock it, the sewer level, boss at the end was solid. And Skyhook battle was awesome too, where u cud fly inside and all rnd the whole thing, was kinda never ending if u chose not to take out the main reactor/core straight away, really cool. Wish more games were like this, it had a mix of every type of gameplay, u cud even go 3rd person in2 1st, thats sumthin of a rareity today lol.
@GeneralErlend Same here. The final battle was the scariest, I always saved the green ammo for it and was so scared that I jet packed constantly on the surface and fired the bombs blindly at it's eye.
This piece was actually composed by John Williams. It's an extended version of the Echo Base music that was cut out due to additional Echo Base scenes being cut out of the film. There's actually a bit more to this piece cause this is just a 35 second loop. In fact, the piano notes at the very beginning of this can be heard in the film. When Luke is being dragged off by the Wampa after he was knocked unconscious.
Wompas and the eldritch ebomination-esque things that lived in Xizor's Palace sewers scared me half to death when I played this game when I was like 4-5 years old with my dad. Shadows of the Empire was, if memory serves, the second game I ever played, right after Banjo-Kazooie.
Epic Epic Epic this game, in the real history Dash was a best friend from Han solo , from the same planet a best Character from the history are Luke skywaker , Han solo ,princes Leya , Dash Randar -Bonty Hunters , Bosk , Bobafett , Sukuss , LOM 4 , Ig88 I love the Bounty Hunters from star wars and the Batle with Dash rander yeahn
i still play this game on a regular basis, its one of the greats.
i have 4 N64's, like at least 15 controllers, and as of right now 35 games or so (including 4 copies of DK64, 3 copies of Mario 64, 2 copies of this game, 2 copies of both Zelda games, and 2 copies of both 007 games.) still looking for more around my house and random pawn stores for cheap. my whole immediate family grew up with this one of a kind system, and we all still play today.
I played this game for the first time at a friends house when i was 8, and I never forgot it, as the years passed getting an N64 got harder and harder, then my friend told me about emulators and I play this shit all day long
@ChrisKogos go to "youtube to mp3" but make it all one word and add a dot com at the end. Then put this vids url in where it asks you to and convert it!
"Steve Perry has said that he would like to write a story about Dash and Han Solo teaming up, and he and Michael Reaves have pitched an idea to Lucasfilm but this idea still remains unfulfilled.[33] "
@RobloxLegomania Harrison Ford is in his 60's.. the idea will probobly forever remain unfulfilled :( as for dash, Personally, I kinda think mark whalberg might make a good dash.. but thats just my opinion, if they could find a good replacement for the princess, luke, and han, this move would be epic..
@alan10014 Yes, Goldeneye I could still go over a friends house with 2 other people, get 4 controllers and play into dawn, and of course, if you had an N64 you HAD to have Ocarina of Time, Banjo Kazooie never really got me as a kid, I thought it was great and all but it never really had a huge impact on me, oh well, memories haha
@F0reverisChrist I think they still could, they would just have to be sneaky and hide all the original characters faces in the scenes they're in ;) But Lucas will probably go to put the movies in 3D anything like that happens >.<
one of the BEST GAME ON 64..seriously, i never stop playing this..the boba fett mision was freacking hard

@GeneralErlend The sewer level in "Star Wars: Dark Forces" are even more scarier since the monsters pop out in a jump scare.

The N64 and DS suffered the same problem when it came to streamed music. It was Low Bit rate and Mono compared to the discs of PS1 and PSP

who composed this track? It's not on the official SotE Soundtrack CD?!
I loved this theme as a kid. It had such an ominous but familiar Star Wars mood to it. I just loved this game.
