  • It's about the "Industrial Military Complex" look it up and WAKE UP!!!

  • Fuck off with your "different taste" shit!!! If you dont like this is because you are a piece of crap and do not know nothing about music!! PINK FLOYD rules!!!!

  • If you dont like it, well, you have different taste. Still you should not ignore the message. If anything , listen to that.

  • LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT..............just ignore those haters. They're just jelly beans

  • Das ist einer der größten Musikstücke überhaupt. Ich liebe es !!! Scharlieh und Danke fürs hochladen

  • david kinda looks slightly like sean rider who agrees?

  • muito loko

  • My favorite live version.

  • Pink Floyd will ALWAYS be one of my favorite bands. They were musical geniuses. They stayed true to themself and didnt sell out to what the "suits" wanted. Their sound will never be duplicated by anybody, and Im cool with that. THX guys for alot of great songs and great times.

  • DUDE! That is one bitchin mullett!

  • Saw this tour at Giants Stadium, one awsome show, sound quality was amazing for outoor venue.

  • They tried to create all the ancient atmosphere with all paraphernalia but it lacKs ROGER , but still SUPREME AND UNDISPUTABLE FLOYD!!!

  • some people just dont under stand the music oh and by the way my name is FLOYD

  • It's a killer song I have no idea why you don't like it...

  • Roger Waters has not participated in the LP Moentary Lapse of Reason. Very Good. The Final Cut would have a Part II. Disasters would be. The destination was in favor of music. Great LP, Great Song !

  • I was at this show, killer concert!

  • @tallcoolone Cry Havoc! And slip the dogs of war" it's from Shakespeare, Act Three, scene one, Julius Caesar. "dogs of war" as a synonym for mercenary soldiers.

  • im a very big floyd fan but this is the worst ever floyd track EVER BUT THE LYRICS ARE SPOT ON IF YOU REED BETWEEN THE LINES

  • im a very big floyd fan but this is the worst ever floyd track EVER

  • @666767 . So am I, but to me it's one of their best. However, tempo and sax at around 04 min was less. For a minute.

  • @hornstra1 it's the time signature that changes to a 4/4 from a 12/8

  • Which backup singer is that at 3:14 ? Because I do not recall her being on any of the other shows.

  • @Silber7 Could also be Natalie Merchant too. But I couldn't be sure.

  • @thedoomguru

PF started their tour 1987 with only Rachel Fury and Margaret Taylor, and for these video recordings we see here, they added Durga McBroom, Lorelei McBroom, and Roberta Freeman, so we have 5 backing singers. after Atlanta, they continued with Fury, Durga McBroom and Taylor (see DSoT). 1989 they changed the latter for Lorelei McBroom (see Venice). I don't know who of the girls is who, but it seemes that Roberta Freeman was only present in here...

  • @thedoomguru

On these Atlanta dates, they had 5 backing singers, because they made these recordings we have here. While Rachel Fury, Durga McBroom and Margaret Taylor did the whole 87/88 tour (see DSoT) and Lorelei McBroom did the 89 tour replacing the latter (see Venice), Roberta Freeman was only present on the Atlanta recordings. So it may be her, even if I don't know who of the girls is who^^

  • btw sry for spam, pc problems -.-

  • I was at this show in Atlanta :-)

  • rock the fuck on they and ozzy r the best. end of discussion....

  • This is the shit!!!!!!!It is definetely a strong message to the "Dogs of War".David Gilmour is so fukin awesome........so is that guys mullett playin the sax!!! LOL

  • Scott Page is the sex on sax!

  • I'd love to learn the sax solo for this on my future soprano sax.

  • this is the best guitarist in the world no contest i dont care about the rest dont cry all you crazey syd fans david is pink floyd sorry but its true i love roger but its daves band thanks syd

  • i dont get why a lot of people hate this song its epic

  • Is that Dick Perry with the Ivan Drago Mullet?

  • The sax player here is American Scott Page (who played with Supertramp as extra sax player on 1983 final tour with Roger Hodgson). Dick Parry had quit playing in the 1980s and was working as a farrier (shoeing horses). Then Dick quit the farrier gig and went back to the saxophone in 1992. He sent David Gilmour a Christmas card and DG said come audition for The Division Bell album and tour and played better than ever and returned to PF in '94 has worked with DG since PF's retirement in '05.

  • well Mr Scott Page can lay those weary lips of his right on my smakoooo

  • porque ya no salen grupos como los floyds de antaño?porque tenemos que tragarnos hoy en dia solo musica de la mas vulgar y comercial?viva el psiquedelico

  • yeah , love this song cos the sax.!!!!!!!

  • 5:10 gilmour fucked up on the lyrics

when i went to see him live 29/05/06 he forgot the words to on an island, but just like the pro he is, he carried on & everyone applauded him

    he's my god!!!! lol

  • I was there, oh, yes!

  • only FLOYD tune i like!!!

  • whaa...?

  • asjidnijbnqieufnonmdf Hell opened up and put on sand ,Gather round and haggle,Hell is the time-bound mind,Heaven is eternity ,which is Now.

  • Brilliant performance! This song is a very 80 ish type of song. Wouldn't have worked well on their 1994 tour. Only 'Learning To Fly', 'On The Turning Away' and 'Sorrow' "survived" the 80's. :) They did 'One Slip' once in 1994, but the sheer power of it, that was present during the Momentary Lapse Of Reason tours, were absent by then.

  • MAGNIFICI !!!!!!!

  • I really don't enjoy how 80's they got after Waters left. I really love their collaborative effort of Dark Side, that is why its my favorite album.

  • Thor Thor

  • Please tell me that that wasn't Dick parry on the sax...

  • not Dick Parry...Scott Page

  • LOOOOOOOOOOL!!! afraid of the hair cut?!? XD

  • pink floy

  • WTF???

    is that dave at 0:31????

If so is such a great acting!!!

  • that sax solo was a horrendus attempt and a pf sax solo: Boots Randolph would of been hipper!!

  • killin' sax solo-BITCH

  • There may be better but this guy was ALL OVER it on sax.

  • In fact John Helliwell of Supertramp recorded a saxophone solo for it but was scrapped for Scott Page's take as Scott hit those Lenny Pickett-type altissimo saxophone notes that John (nor even Dick Parry whom was in retirement in the 1980s) cannot ever hit as they aren't show boat sax players. Nick called Scott PF's Phantom Of The Opera as he'd come back on stage unannounced and play additional rhythm guitar (see on Delicate Sound video).

  • I was there

  • Guy Pratt... one of the best bass guitar players. What a star!

  • This song does not get enough credit. Dogs eat pigs all day long. Praise and love to Sir David Gilmour. I love you.

  • The sax-players hair is short now , it was a long time ago this show. His name is Scott Page and he ROCKS !

  • your mother

  • With 7 years of age, date of this video already he was a lover of the music of the only band who delights my senses...

    pink is the best

  • I cani della guerra! L'uomo ha contaminato con la sua presenza la bellezza di questo pianeta. Quante volte penso che la natura avrebbe fatto volentieri a meno di noi, se solo avesse potuto scegliere!

  • How Appropro. for these times.......Dogs and Pigs run this world presently, but soon, very soon, their MASTER is coming, and He is not happy with the way they have treated His sheep,....it will be a sight to behold when He repays them for all the pain and suffering they have caused.

  • great upload :)

  • Its feeding time for the dogs of war

  • its just one word for fucks sake

  • It doesn't really sound like Pink Floyd before or after. I think the staff in which Roger was involved is much better. Indeed the saxophonist kicks ass.

  • I like the song

by the way, if you dont like it, YOU SUCK!!!!

    THIS IS PINK FLOYD!!!!

  • @broskie13 this rocks.how can anybody not like this?

  • in my opinion (no reason to give me a thumbs down) this is not worthy of being a pink floyd song. it is there worst

  • Waters was a tool ass idiot for leaving this band

  • great song

  • :30-:32 lol

  • Thats not Allen Parsons you idiot, LOL

  • that's allen parsons, bad mullet tho

  • "Allen" Parson? lol who is he??

  • i kno im going to get alot of boos for this, but this WHOLE album sux.

  • Why?

  • i find it horrible because it lacks direction, i dont really like gilmour's lyrics and the lack of imput from mason and wright. the division bell was ok, but i love everything before this album.

  • It SOO EASY to criticize !! I wonder what you have acomplished

  • um ok, all i did was respectfully state my opinion. go fuck urself if ur gonna b a bitch about it. if u like this album, go ahead and listen to wht u like to listen to, but i dont like it.

  • No lo termino de ver y solo hay una palabra para el video ¡ASOMBROSO!

  • Inancanzable...

  • it's a total trip! it's been such a long time i didn't hear this song!...i used to have album on vinil (LP) style. great post.

  • come on its all a trip its all good dont go toooooooooo deeeeeeeeeeep

  • outstanding need radio chaos its just roger watters???

  • A facking good song

Pink Floyd rules all other bands though

  • wats up with david gilmores face the first time he saids dogs of war and the guy that plays the saxophone with the huge ass mullet that looks like joe dirt serously

  • Thank you for giving the names of the backup singers. During my 4 years of college, Pink Floyd was the only decent music that came out. David Gilmour on guitar and those fine ass backup singers. What a combo.

  • I dont know about you guys but for me floyd 'BREATHE' till the last days off pulse, gilmore rules and always gonna rules..., of course waters was a fucking great artist but like person... i have my doubts, maybe MONEY? thats the diference between one and other

  • the weakness in the video is the literalism of using dogs. Dogs of war is a metaphor for those who push us into war, like bush..

  • i would not call weakness. but a straight-foward vision of what the metaphor would represent. Yes, maybe they could have thought a better way to demonstrate the dogs of war:bush and blair.

  • you can buy this on ebay sometimes.

  • Volume is weak, but ahhhhhhhhhh those backup singers make up for it. The white and oriental one can chase my tail and yank on my chain anyday.

  • Rachel Fury and Margaret Taylor. Yes the dreams we've had about those two

  • You should see Rachel and Margaret on the YouTube video The Great Gig In The Sky (1988), if you have not already. Have a great day.

  • SCOTT PAGE OWNS!

  • GREAT GOOGLEY MOOGLEY!

  • Hello

Hey where can I buy this com-plete concert DVD???

  • i would like to know as well

  • thank you so much, I watch the whole concert yesterday and I realized it's the best band ever!!!

  • Super Duper,,,Love it!

  • hey dogs of war kicks ass. momentary lapse of reason is a great album, division bell has some good tunes.

  • Why not play 'Dogs' instead of 'Dogs of War?' Ahh Dave, your a great musician but sotp playing those crappy MloR and Division Bell songs!!!

  • those songs are good. plus waters owns all the rights to animals and most of the other albums from the seventies from a huge legal battle.

  • Waters owns the rights to most of The Wall (save Gilmour's tracks) and all of The Final Cut. When PF played live without him, they added testicles to the pig for the 1987/88/89 tour and the superb WARTHOGS in 1994.

  • But Money is credited to only Waters, yet Gilmour/Wright/Mason played it a gazillion times during the MloR and Bell tours. Dogs is credited to Gilmour/Waters!!! I bet Dave just didnt have a strong connection with the lyrical content of the Animals songs and wanted to play HIS songs as opposed to Rogers.

  • Roger Waters came up with the basic riff to Money but the guitar solo section was a Gilmour creation. You probably think Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett were Genesis.

  • Your commment is irrelevant.

  • You are irrelelvant. I am a lifelong Floyd fan. FYI, PR rehearsed Sheep for the AMLoR tour but it didn't come off too well. Roger was a great person until his ego trip went too far in 1977. My comment is relevant. People like you b*tching anbout post-Waters PF is like when I see people b*tching about Genesis after either Peter Gabriel left or Steve Hackett left.

  • In response to your previous comment,

    1. Roger came up with the song Money. It is ENTIRELY credited to him. People dont get credit for a guitar solo.

    2. Genesis is irrelevant to this discussion.

All I said about post-Waters Floyd is that they played too many MLoR and Division Bell songs and that 'Dogs' owns 'Dogs of War.' I'm not gonna apologize for expressing my opinion.

  • Waters wasn't responsible for changing the middle section of Money from 7/4 to 4/4, DG and the band came up with it. I have Waters' demo from 1971 and it was just the 7/4 riff repeated. When it came for the guitar solo in the live shows for 1972 to 1973 and lead to the album version, the band came up with the change to 4/4 for the guitar lead section (the ending was in 4/4 as well for the final solo). TDB tour was better in song selection than AMLoR (they swapped songs night after night).

  • OK, I won't argue with that. Truce! From one Floyd fan to another.

  • HAHA! going to 4/4 is the weakness of this song! 7/4 is precisely what hooks you in the beginning of otherwise nothing special mainstream hit song for the radio. In fact I am afraid they went to 4/4 cause your greatest DG could not figure out how to play solo in 7/4.

  • I talk about Money of course, not the dogs of war.

  • had 2 be a great show . Floyd is kickazz rocking down dogs ! it's good 2 be Floyd

  • can you upload Shine on you crazy diamond??, the version of this concert is really nice.

  • dont really appreaciate those dogs, but da music rythm is interesting

  • love this song!

  • if you notive that the background is similar to that of the Pulse concert series.

  • I am glad that my sister and old time friend charlie hernandez got me into rock thank you both I have passed the pink floyd saga to another Jen williams so we are all hooked pink floyd rock on forever

  • Nyce song, I love Rachel Fury!

  • bizzare.

  • a man of christ, that rock man , sam magee
