Nowadays, coins are scarce because of the inflation and the bus system as you can pay for the trip with either coins or with a disposable bus credit card that you can buy on a kiosk, but they will chew your coins anyway. You know how inconvinient is to pay $3.90 for a 2 trips card? And kiosk clerks will always try to give you candies instead of the 10 cents if you pay with $4.00. That's BShit.

I remember a few years back some guy actually got charged with defacing federal currency. At the time the guy figured out the weight price of zinc was actually more valuable then a penny itself. So he bought thousands of them and melted them down and sold the zinc. IMO I think it was a win and should have been a clue for the government to stop fucking the economy or to get rid of pennies.

Nowadays, coins are scarce because of the inflation and the bus system as you can pay for the trip with either coins or with a disposable bus credit card that you can buy on a kiosk, but they will chew your coins anyway. You know how inconvinient is to pay $3.90 for a 2 trips card? And kiosk clerks will always try to give you candies instead of the 10 cents if you pay with $4.00. That's BShit.
