You are an amazing doctor! Being able to put patients at ease and allowing them to enjoy the results is a great quality that you possess. The results were great and the patient handled everything so well. I envision myself one day becoming a doctor, just like you. It will be quite the journey, but I believe I have what it takes. Thank you for posting this video and allowing us all to witness this amazing feat. Best wishes to you and the patient as well.
Thank you xobandanapanda for your kind comments. I enjoy helping others feel more confident. It is quite rewarding to help improve the self confidence of our patients. I was blessed to practice general vascular transplant surgery for over twenty years. I decided that working with patients on the wellness side of medicine was in order. I am quite passionate about the evolving technology in cosmetic surgery and enjoy this artisitc side of medicine. Thank you again for your comments!
Wow, you are an excellent Doctor! You really make your patients feel comfortable and let them get involved in the surgery. The results look fantastic and you are so reassuring and kind to your patients(: Also, congratulations on having been chief of surgery!!!!! What made you decide to switch to cosmetic surgery?
Dear Irishgummybear, I have forwarded your very nice communication to our patient. This is a nice reminder how sharing of experiences can help others. Thank you!
Thankyou for being brave and honest about your surgery. This gave me knowlegde and helped me to make up my mind about what kind of makeover I wanted for myself. More women like you should inform others instead of keeping this to themselves. You look wonderful.
Thank you for your comment and concern. At first one may be afraid of having a procedure under local tumescent anesthesia. However if the patient and physician work as a team, the surgeon is patient and understands that surgery performed under local anesthesia is not a race; we can work wonders this way. If one were to look at patients after general anesthesia versus our patients walking out of the office in 15 minutes one would see the benefits.
Wow I would never be able to do it under local anesthesia, I bet my blood pressure would rise sky rocket! and I would be extremely nervous. I would prefer general.
Local anesthesia called "tumescent anesthesia" is an extremely safe. As long as the surgeon adheres strictly to using only safe levels of local anesthesia concentration then the risk is minimal. The risks are much less than general anesthesia or intravenous (IV) sedation. My training and previous surgical career was that of general, vascular and organ transplant surgery. Because of this background I am extemely compulsive about adhering to safety protocols.
