Oddly enough, I didn't like very much of the Quorthon stuff, yet I loved every single Bathory song. This song is pretty awesome though.

Metal is like that that we metalheads love what is fucking epic, no matter if the ganre is black, death, thrash, heavy, viking, etc. That's why we call our idols gods, it's like they were so great and admirable they actually achieved godliness. I really feel that way about Quorthon, Cronos, Euro, Schuldiner etc. They were the gods of our times, so close to absolute with their everlasting music they must sit the highest thrones there somewhere.

Quorthon truly was a talented person, no, he was a God among men, he helped the creation of Black Metal and Viking Metal, but he was still able to create beautiful songs like Ring Of Gold and his solo albums just go to show that he wasnt restricted to one genre, RIP QUORTHON

nothing to deal with.. Quorthon keeps surprising me even after his death. he was a genius, his huge work with bathory and these albums he released under QUORTHON... both are masterpieces. LOVE YOU QUORTHON! you will never die

I like Quorthon soloalbums and all of Bathory`s works aswell.. But it was good that he did these songs with under Quorthon and not under Bathory.. And in my opinion maybe Bathory`s Destroyer of the Worlds would fit much better in Quorthons albums and made saga of them..
